Vista Grande Spa Introduce
Welcome to Vista Grande Spa, a mobile home park nestled at 17625 Langlois Rd in Desert Hot Springs, California. For those seeking "RV parks near me" with a focus on a tranquil environment, community spirit, and the therapeutic benefits of natural mineral waters, Vista Grande Spa presents an interesting option in the Desert Hot Springs area. You can reach them at (760) 329-5424 (local) or +1 760-329-5424 (mobile) for inquiries.
Based on recent customer reviews, Vista Grande Spa offers a notably "very quiet" atmosphere, which can be a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful living environment or a relaxing getaway in their RV. The residents are described as "friendly," suggesting a welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere within the park. This aspect can contribute greatly to the overall quality of life for both long-term residents and short-term visitors.
One of the key features of Vista Grande Spa is its "nice pool and spas." Given the name, it's highly likely that these spas utilize the renowned mineral-rich waters of Desert Hot Springs, known for their therapeutic properties. The availability of both a pool and spas offers residents and visitors options for recreation and relaxation, catering to different preferences for soaking and swimming. The mention of "nice clean small laundry" indicates that essential amenities are provided and maintained to a satisfactory standard, adding to the convenience of living at or visiting the park.
The environment of Vista Grande Spa is described as "all sand large spots," which is characteristic of the desert landscape of the region. While the sandy terrain might require some adaptation, the "large spots" are a significant advantage, potentially offering more space and privacy compared to more crowded parks. However, one reviewer notes that the area "can get very windy," which is a common factor in desert environments and something to consider for those with lightweight outdoor belongings or sensitivities to wind.
Security is a notable feature, as Vista Grande Spa is a "gated community." This provides an added layer of security and can contribute to the overall peace of mind for residents and visitors. Gated access often helps to control traffic and enhance the safety of the community.
Financially, the first reviewer highlights a significant advantage: "Space rent is currently half to one third the cost of other parks in the area that we have checked with." This suggests that Vista Grande Spa offers a considerably more affordable option compared to other similar parks in Desert Hot Springs, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious individuals seeking long-term or even short-term stays. It's important to note that in addition to the space rent, residents are responsible for their "electricity" costs, which are billed separately.
However, another reviewer raises a serious concern regarding their "electric bill," stating that it is "so damn high" despite minimal usage. They question the accuracy of their meter, noting its age and a calibration date from 2018. This discrepancy suggests a potential issue with the electrical metering system for some residents, and prospective residents should inquire about the billing process and the condition of the electrical infrastructure.
The same reviewer also mentions a positive aspect: "I love this park the manager is way cool and the people so far are pretty nice." This reinforces the earlier comment about friendly residents and adds that the management is also well-regarded, which can significantly contribute to a positive living experience. However, this reviewer also recounts an incident of being "harassed" in the laundry room by another individual, highlighting a potential issue with neighborly conduct, although the manager's coolness might suggest they are responsive to such concerns.
A third brief review seems to defend the park and its manager against perceived unfair judgment, further supporting the idea of a well-regarded management and perhaps a close-knit community where residents are supportive of one another.
Considering the category "RV parks near me," Vista Grande Spa, while primarily a mobile home park, offers amenities such as large spots, a pool, and spas that would also appeal to RV travelers seeking a longer-term stay in the Desert Hot Springs area. The significantly lower space rent compared to other parks in the vicinity could be a major draw for those planning an extended visit. However, the lack of 50 amp service mentioned by one reviewer might be a limitation for some larger RVs with higher power demands. RVers should confirm the electrical service available at individual spots before committing to a stay.
The presence of mineral spas aligns with the reputation of Desert Hot Springs as a destination for therapeutic waters, making Vista Grande Spa a potentially attractive option for those seeking the health and relaxation benefits of these natural springs during their RV travels. The gated community aspect also adds a sense of security that can be valued by RV travelers.
In conclusion, Vista Grande Spa in Desert Hot Springs offers a quiet and gated community with friendly residents, appealing mineral spas and a pool, and the significant advantage of lower space rent compared to other parks in the area. These factors make it a potentially attractive option for both mobile home owners and RVers seeking a longer-term stay. However, prospective residents and visitors should be aware of the sandy environment, the potential for windy conditions, the lack of 50 amp service, and the reported concerns about high electricity bills, which warrant further inquiry with the management. Despite these considerations, the affordability and the presence of mineral springs make Vista Grande Spa a noteworthy option when searching for "RV parks near me" in Desert Hot Springs.

Vista Grande Spa Reviews
Just got here (02-01-19) so I may update. Very quiet, friendly residents, no 50 amp service, all sand large spots, nice pool and spas, nice clean small laundry, can get very windy, gated community. Space rent plus electricity. Space rent is currently half to one third the cost of other parks in the area that we have checked with.
Mar 04, 2019 · Gary MathisI don't understand why my electric bill is so damn high!! Something is very WRONG. The meter was last calibrated in 2018 I think the last time I have sent a meter that looks like mine was back in the late 70's early 70's.. I'm hardly ever hm and when I am I really only have a light or no lights. I know some of my friends have homes over 1500 sq.ft. and the highest their electric bill goes is about 200 my place is less than 300 sq. Ft if that. I love this park the manager is way cool and the people so far are pretty nice. I have been harassed by someone when I was doing laundry asked if I lived in the park and blah blah blah I told her what space I was in, the funny part is when I told her what space, she says "in this park?" Really lady!, no the one in Arizona I just come here to do my laundry.I admit I don't look my age, but geez get a life there is a fine young Mgr here who does his job! How do u think I was able to move inSMFH!!! Please if I ever start being a Mrs. Kravitz SHOOT ME!
