Quail Valley RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Desert Hot Springs, California area, and specifically looking for a distinguished 55+ senior community, Quail Valley RV Park, located at 70201 Aurora Rd, Desert Hot Springs, CA 92241, USA, is an option to consider. You can reach them at (760) 329-5757 or their mobile number +1 760-329-5757 for inquiries about residency within this community.
However, it is crucial to note, based on direct customer feedback, that Quail Valley RV Park is primarily a residential 55+ senior community and does not offer traditional RV camping. Therefore, if your search for "RV parks near me" is for temporary or short-term RV stays, Quail Valley RV Park may not be the appropriate choice. This introduction will proceed to detail the environment, services, and features of Quail Valley as a senior residential community for those who might be interested in long-term living within such a setting.
Quail Valley RV Park is consistently described as a beautifully kept and well-maintained senior 55+ community. The emphasis on upkeep is evident in the positive reviews, with mentions of lush landscaping and flowers contributing to an aesthetically pleasing environment. This dedication to maintaining the park's appearance suggests a commitment to providing a high-quality living experience for its residents.
A unique aspect of Quail Valley is its strong sense of community, often described as feeling like family. This is attributed, in part, to the park being mostly volunteer-run, fostering a collaborative and close-knit atmosphere among the residents. For seniors seeking "55+ RV parks near me" with a strong social element and opportunities for community involvement, Quail Valley appears to excel in this area, even though it operates as a residential community rather than a traditional RV park.
Security is another significant feature highlighted at Quail Valley RV Park. The presence of security gates is noted as a big plus by residents, providing an added layer of safety and peace of mind within the community. This focus on security can be a crucial factor for seniors when choosing a place to live, whether in a mobile home or an extended-stay RV within a residential setting (if such options were available, which the reviews indicate they are not for camping).
During the "season," which likely refers to the winter months when many snowbirds and retirees flock to the warmer climate of Desert Hot Springs, Quail Valley offers a variety of activities for its residents. This suggests an active and engaging social calendar, providing opportunities for recreation, socializing, and community involvement. For those looking at "senior RV parks near me" with a vibrant social life, the activities at Quail Valley would be a significant attraction for long-term residents.
One practical consideration mentioned in the reviews is the location relative to shopping and dining. Quail Valley is noted as being about a 10-minute drive away from local shopping and food options. While not immediately adjacent to these conveniences, the short drive provides accessibility while maintaining a more secluded and peaceful residential environment. This balance might appeal to seniors who appreciate a quieter living space but still want easy access to amenities.
The positive sentiment expressed by those who have experienced Quail Valley, either as residents or visitors of residents, underscores its desirability as a 55+ community. The recurring themes of excellent maintenance, a strong sense of community, and appealing landscaping suggest a well-managed and enjoyable living environment for seniors. The park is described as one of the nicest 55+ parks, setting a benchmark for others to strive for.
For individuals specifically searching for "55+ RV parks near me" for long-term residential purposes (and who understand that Quail Valley does not offer RV camping), the features and environment described make it a highly worth considering option in the Desert Hot Springs area. The emphasis on community, security, and a well-kept environment caters directly to the needs and preferences of many seniors seeking a comfortable and engaging living situation.
While Quail Valley RV Park may not fulfill the needs of those looking for short-term "RV parks near me" for camping or temporary stays, its strengths as a beautifully maintained, secure, and community-oriented 55+ residential park are evident. If your search is geared towards finding a long-term senior living community that fosters a sense of belonging and provides a high quality of life, Quail Valley warrants further investigation, keeping in mind its residential nature rather than a traditional RV camping facility.
To reiterate, if you are seeking short-term RV camping in Desert Hot Springs, Quail Valley RV Park is likely not the appropriate choice based on the provided customer feedback. However, if you are interested in exploring a well-regarded 55+ residential community for potential long-term living with your RV (assuming such arrangements are permitted within their residential model – this would require direct inquiry), Quail Valley's positive attributes make it a noteworthy option to learn more about. Contact them directly to understand their residency requirements and whether they accommodate RVs for long-term living within their 55+ community framework.

Quail Valley RV Park Reviews
This is a Beautifully kept senior 55+ community. It is a mostly volunteer park and feels like family. The place is kept up very well and during season, there are many activities. Security gates are a big plus! No local shopping or food but only a short 10 min. drive away. Many other surrounding options but this one is highly worth considering. Note, this is a residential community, there is no RV camping here.
Mar 18, 2025 · Tracey FleisherHaving been here many times because my parents wintered here for 22 years I enjoyed seeing it again. I still have family in the park so it was a great trip to see cousins I hadn't seen in years. The park is kept up and one of the nicest 55 plus parks I've been to. Flowers and lush landscaping showed how well kept the park still is. This is what all 55 plus parks should strive to look like.
Mar 16, 2024 · ParkplaceWhat a great place.Love all the different gardens people do. Lots of fun flowers and plants and fruit trees. Please continue to have lush gardens and plantings. If I could make a observation, almost all the fruit trees need fertilizer for fruit trees. That will take care of the smaller curling yellow leaves. It will also make the trees more Resilient to our hot summers.I would love to see more trees and plantings all over.It already stands out from other parks. I hope this forward thinking continues and florishes
Mar 23, 2024 · David ShermanFirst trip here we rented, fell in love with the park and second trip we bought our own lot.
Feb 03, 2023 · Deborah NemethI stop here every time on my way through. My mom owns a house here and allows me to use it when I go to take pictures at Joshua Tree. This tight close knit community is always welcoming. If I was to retire soon, this is where I'd want to be. The sheer number of citrus fruits that you eat down there that you get from neighbors, the trees grow with the house youre in, and from the corners will boggle your mind. I will warn you that 98 oranges in a four day span will make you sick. If you get a chance, rent a place on the back side where you can watch the sunset against the mountains that circle it.
