Desert Oasis Mobile Home & RV Resort Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Desert Hot Springs, California area, seeking a potentially quieter environment for long-term living? Desert Oasis Mobile Home & RV Resort, located at 17850 Corkill Rd, Desert Hot Springs, CA 92241, USA, and reachable by phone at (760) 329-7346 or +1 760-329-7346, presents itself as an option to consider. While it may not boast the manicured appearance of neighboring parks, the available customer reviews offer insights into its atmosphere and potential drawbacks for those browsing "RV parks near me."
One reviewer noted that they "liked it, because it feels like home," suggesting a comfortable and familiar atmosphere for some residents. This can be a significant positive for individuals seeking a sense of belonging within the "RV parks near me" they consider. However, this positive sentiment is juxtaposed with other concerns raised in the same review.
The reviewer also states, "It is not the best or the cleanist Mobile home park or manicured like the neighboring parks? but it's quiet." This provides a more nuanced picture, indicating that while the park might offer a quieter environment, it may not meet the standards of cleanliness or landscaping found in other nearby communities. For those prioritizing tranquility over pristine aesthetics when searching for "RV parks near me," this could be a relevant trade-off to consider.
A significant concern raised by the same reviewer involves security. They mention seeing "unknown people going through my yard" on their CCTV and note that "the park doesn't have active person that look out the community." This lack of visible security presence could be a serious drawback for individuals prioritizing safety and security when choosing among "RV parks near me."
Furthermore, this reviewer expresses considerable dissatisfaction with the park manager. Allegations include the manager sharing "not nice things about one of my neighbors" with the reviewer and, conversely, telling the neighbor that the reviewer was "crazy" for bringing their ESA to the office. The reviewer also describes difficulties in receiving helpful or timely responses from the manager, even when providing information relevant to park management. These interpersonal issues with management could significantly impact the living experience for residents of this or any of the "RV parks near me." The reviewer's concluding advice, "Make sure to research that's all I can say," underscores the importance of thorough investigation before choosing this community.
Another reviewer raises a critical safety concern regarding the swimming pool. They state, "The pool is in safe if anyone has any kind of handicapped I would suggest him not getting the full because it's too dangerous where the lip is as you get in you have to step over a big piece of cement and then step straight down very unsafe it needs to be addressed immediately." This description paints a picture of a potentially hazardous entry point for individuals with mobility issues, highlighting a lack of accessibility that might be a concern for some seeking "RV parks near me." The urgency in the reviewer's statement suggests this is a significant safety issue that prospective residents should be aware of.
Beyond these specific comments, the available reviews do not provide detailed information about the services and features typically found in "RV parks near me." There is no mention of laundry facilities, recreational areas (other than the pool, which has accessibility concerns), pet policies, community events, or the availability and quality of utility hookups for RVs. For individuals actively searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term stays, these are crucial aspects to consider.
Given the mixed feedback, with a sentiment of "feeling like home" contrasted with concerns about cleanliness, security, management conduct, and pool safety, prospective residents considering Desert Oasis Mobile Home & RV Resort as one of their "RV parks near me" should proceed with caution and thorough investigation. It would be prudent to contact the park management directly to address the concerns raised in the reviews and to inquire about the specific amenities and services offered. A visit to the park to assess the cleanliness, security measures, and the condition of the pool and other facilities would also be highly recommended.
When comparing Desert Oasis to other "RV parks near me" in the Desert Hot Springs area, it is essential to weigh the potential for a quieter environment against the reported issues with management, security, and safety. Depending on individual priorities and needs, the drawbacks might outweigh the potential benefits. Exploring other options within the "RV parks near me" category in Desert Hot Springs is advisable to ensure a comfortable, safe, and well-managed living experience.
In conclusion, while Desert Oasis Mobile Home & RV Resort may offer a quieter setting for those seeking "RV parks near me" in Desert Hot Springs, the available customer reviews raise significant concerns regarding cleanliness, security, management behavior, and the safety and accessibility of the pool. Prospective residents are strongly encouraged to conduct thorough research, including direct communication with the park management and a site visit, to determine if this community meets their needs and expectations before making a decision. The advice from one reviewer to "Make sure to research" is particularly pertinent in this case.

Desert Oasis Mobile Home & RV Resort Reviews
I liked it, because it feels like home.It is not the best or the cleanist Mobile home park or manicured like the neighboring parks? but it's quiet. Sometimes, I see in my CCTV unknown people going through my yard, the park doesn't have active person that look out the community. The manager? I wish I can post a screenshot of our conversation, She told me not nice things about one of my neighbors and she told my neighbor that I'm crazy coming to her office with my ESA. Most of the time I will not receive a nice reply specially when I fyi her about " I didn't receive yet the letter from dept of health and she was quick to reply me " I'm not department of health". I just really want to keep her posted being the park manager, but it's ok I lifted her up to God.I am paying regularly, and I probably contact her once in a blue moon, but never I felt like I am paying my rent ahead of time or on time. Anyhow, I wish you all the best for your search,Make sure to research that's all I can say.
