Jourdanton RV Park Introduce
Looking for "RV parks near me" in the Jourdanton, Texas area? Jourdanton RV Park, located at 274 PR CARDINAL LN, Jourdanton, TX 78026, USA, offers a country setting for RV travelers. You can reach them at (830) 301-0075 or +1 830-301-0075 for inquiries and reservations.
Based on recent customer reviews, Jourdanton RV Park is primarily characterized by its peaceful and quiet environment. One guest specifically noted the park's tranquility, stating it is "very quiet." This aspect can be particularly appealing to travelers seeking a restful retreat away from the noise of more urban or heavily trafficked areas. The park's location in the countryside contributes to this serene atmosphere, offering a potentially relaxing experience for visitors.
In terms of the layout and spacing of the RV sites, one reviewer commented that the "sites not too close together." This suggests that guests can expect a degree of privacy and space between their RVs, enhancing comfort and the overall camping experience. This is often a desirable feature for RV travelers who appreciate having room to maneuver their vehicles and enjoy their outdoor space without feeling cramped.
The availability of on-site facilities is an important consideration for RV park guests. Jourdanton RV Park offers a "decent laundry room," according to one review. Access to laundry facilities can be a significant convenience, especially for travelers on longer trips, allowing them to maintain cleanliness and pack lighter. While the review describes the laundry room as "decent," further specifics about the number of machines or operating hours are not provided.
However, not all feedback regarding Jourdanton RV Park has been entirely positive. One reviewer mentioned some potential drawbacks. They corroborated the park's quiet, country setting but raised concerns about the presence of "dog poop everywhere and loose dogs galore." This suggests that pet owners or those sensitive to cleanliness might encounter issues related to unsupervised animals and waste management within the park. It's important for prospective guests to consider this aspect, especially if traveling with pets or if cleanliness is a high priority.
Another significant concern raised by a reviewer relates to the electrical power available at the sites. They reported "not enough power to run our motorhome AC." Adequate power supply is crucial for RVers, particularly in warmer climates like Texas, as it is needed to operate essential appliances such as air conditioning units. This feedback indicates a potential limitation that could impact the comfort and functionality for some RV types, especially larger motorhomes with higher power demands. It would be prudent for travelers with specific power requirements to inquire about the electrical hookups and capacity of the sites before booking.
The same reviewer also described the sites as "pretty grassy." While a grassy area can be aesthetically pleasing and provide a softer ground cover, it might also present challenges in terms of leveling RVs or managing mud during wet conditions. This is a physical characteristic of the park that some visitors might find appealing while others might prefer more gravel or paved sites.
Interestingly, the reviewer who mentioned the dog issues and power limitations also noted that Jourdanton RV Park seems to be a "pretty common for a firefly property." This could potentially indicate a connection to a larger management group or a certain standard associated with properties under that name, although without further information, the implications of this observation are unclear.
Finally, this reviewer shared an interaction with the park manager, describing him as a "nice guy with his hands tied" and "very discouraged with no upper manager support." This insight into the management situation might be relevant for prospective guests, as it could potentially affect the responsiveness to issues or the overall maintenance and upkeep of the park. A manager feeling unsupported might have limitations in addressing certain problems or implementing improvements.

In conclusion, Jourdanton RV Park offers a quiet, country setting near Jourdanton, Texas, with spacious sites and a decent laundry facility. However, potential guests should be aware of reported issues concerning dog waste and loose dogs, as well as potential limitations with electrical power for running RV air conditioners. The grassy nature of the sites is another factor to consider. The park manager is described as nice but potentially facing challenges due to a lack of upper management support. For travelers seeking a peaceful retreat and willing to navigate the reported drawbacks, Jourdanton RV Park could be a viable option. It is recommended to contact the park directly to inquire about current conditions, power capabilities, pet policies, and any available promotions to ensure it meets your specific needs and expectations when searching for "RV parks near me."

Jourdanton RV Park Reviews
Very quiet park. Sites not too close together. Decent laundry room. I'd stay here again.
Dec 17, 2024 · Jeffrey HagertyIt is true it is in the country and quiet, but there is dog poop everywhere and loose dogs galore. Not enough power to run our motorhome AC. Sites are pretty grassy as well. Pretty common for a firefly property. Manager seemed very discouraged with no upper manager support, was a nice guy with his hands tied
Nov 02, 2024 · Barbara CoroySite manager is very aggressive towards tenants threatening to break into the rv without just cause. He will get drunk and try to start fights just to get rid of tenants, seen this first hand, this has been going on for years without any punishment towards the site manager.
Feb 02, 2025 · John HolcombIve been here for about 2 months now and i Love it! Management is Amazing, Laundry room and Showers are always Clean and well Kept! Rates are Unbeatable! this Park should Definitely be considered if you are looking for a quiet safe place to call home
Feb 14, 2024 · Lauren MyskaWonderful experience at this RV park! We are actually locals but our house was being worked on so we brought the RV here. It’s very quiet and calm here. The rv spots are very spacious and the rates are just right. If you are looking for a RV park in the area, this is the one! It’s 3min to a dollar general for last minute needs and about 8min to Walmart. It’s also right down the road from a few great restaurants like Sam’s grill for lunch or dinner and Chile Bandera for breakfast.
