Kenwood Moblie Home Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Louisville, Kentucky area, or considering a mobile home community at 4418 Taylor Blvd, Louisville, KY 40215, USA? Kenwood Mobile Home Park presents a complex picture based on the available customer reviews, showcasing both positive community aspects and significant concerns regarding the park's physical condition and safety.
Located on Taylor Boulevard in Louisville, Kenwood Mobile Home Park benefits from its position within a well-established part of the city. This location likely offers residents relatively convenient access to local amenities, including shopping, dining, and transportation options within Louisville. Taylor Boulevard is a significant thoroughfare, suggesting that the park is integrated within the urban landscape.
One customer review provides a decidedly positive account of their initial experience moving into Kenwood Mobile Home Park. This individual encountered travel delays and arrived late in the evening. However, they were met by the management, described as a "super nice gentleman," who assisted them in getting settled in for the night. The following morning, the reviewer was impressed by the helpfulness of the manager and what they believed to be his entire crew, who assisted with the setup process, which the reviewer typically handles alone. This speaks highly of the management's dedication and willingness to go above and beyond to assist new residents.
This positive review also highlights a sense of community within Kenwood Mobile Home Park. The reviewer mentions "a lot of fun and laughter going on during the day with the kids and everything around here," suggesting a family-friendly atmosphere with daytime social interaction. Furthermore, they noted that the community becomes "very quiet" at night, which can be a significant benefit for those who value peaceful evenings. The reviewer also emphasized the friendliness of the residents, stating that neighbors are willing to lend a hand if issues arise. They specifically recommend contacting "Mikey" for anyone needing a place to stay for their motorhome, implying that the park may accommodate RVs, at least on a case-by-case basis, and that "Mikey" is a helpful point of contact.
However, a starkly contrasting review presents a very negative perspective on Kenwood Mobile Home Park. This reviewer describes the park as "really run down" and criticizes the road conditions within the park as "not good at all" due to potholes. More seriously, they allege that the "homes" (presumably mobile homes) are "roach and mice infested." The presence of "cats running around everywhere" is also mentioned, yet the reviewer notes that there are still mice, suggesting a potential pest control issue.
This negative review raises significant safety concerns regarding the "campers" (which could refer to RVs or older, less maintained mobile homes) within the park, stating that they are "hoarded with so much stuff they r 🔥 Hazard." The reviewer claims this is visible through the windows of some units and around the homes. Such conditions could indeed pose a fire risk and are serious safety allegations.
Further concerns are raised about the behavior of some individuals within the park, with the reviewer stating that "people walking the streets all hours of the night" and that there seems to be no adherence to a noise ordinance, with "loud music yelling and screaming at all hours of the night." These issues could significantly impact the quality of life for residents seeking a peaceful environment.
The negative review concludes with a strong condemnation of the living conditions, with the reviewer expressing the personal opinion that "cps should come and check on the Welfare of the children living in some of these campers and even the animal's as well," describing the situation as "like a third world country in a country that left it behind as the the world came up." This is a severe assessment, indicating deep concerns about the safety and well-being of the residents, particularly children and animals.
Given these conflicting reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive objective picture of Kenwood Mobile Home Park. The positive review highlights helpful management, a friendly community, daytime activity with children, and quiet nights. In contrast, the negative review paints a picture of disrepair, potential safety hazards (pests, fire risks), and disruptive behavior.
For local users considering Kenwood Mobile Home Park as a potential "RV park near me" for a longer stay or as a mobile home living option, it is crucial to approach with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. The mention of contacting "Mikey" for motorhome stays suggests that RVs might be accommodated, but the conditions and amenities for RVs are not detailed.
Before making any decisions, prospective residents or RVers should:
- Contact the management directly at (502) 544-0428 or +1 502-544-0428 to inquire about the availability of RV sites (if any), the terms for RV stays, and the amenities offered. If interested in mobile home living, inquire about available homes or lots and the associated costs.
- Visit the park in person to assess the conditions described in the reviews. Pay close attention to the state of the roads, the general upkeep of the properties, and the overall environment.
- If possible, speak with current residents to get a broader range of opinions on living in the community. Try to get perspectives beyond the two reviews available online.
- Inquire about pest control measures, safety protocols (especially regarding fire hazards), and the enforcement of any community rules or noise ordinances.
- For RV stays, clarify the availability of hookups (water, electricity, sewer) and any other RV-specific amenities.
The significant discrepancies between the two reviews suggest that the experience of living in Kenwood Mobile Home Park can vary greatly. Potential residents or visitors need to weigh the positive aspects of helpful management and community spirit against the serious allegations of disrepair and safety concerns. A personal visit and thorough investigation are strongly recommended to make an informed decision about whether Kenwood Mobile Home Park meets their needs and expectations for a "RV park near me" or a mobile home living community.
No promotional information is available in the provided data. Therefore, any decision should be based on the objective assessment of the environment, services, and features as perceived through the lens of the limited and conflicting customer feedback.

Jan 09, 2021 · Meg MillinerIt may not be the prettiest place but I am glad to call this place my homeWe look out for each other...-----UPDATE-----5-25-2023There has been some much needed improvements since moving here 4yrs ago. They put in 3 washer's and 3 dryer's and you can do 1wash&dry for just $3.And No more rough tore up road messing up your car or leaving a Muddy mess to clean up after every time it rains,We now have paved black top and for those folks who have not been here before or haven't been here since the new pave was laid PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE STREET/ROAD SIGNS WHEN ENTERING THE PARK!Entrance is one way traffic and speed limit is posted and there is several speed bumps. On a more personal note...Mikey did a great job matching me with my first little camperThen he did it again putting us into a much nicer camper with much more room just right for the two of us and our little pup..I wouldn't mind getting the opportunity for one more upgrade like one of the two very large 5thwheel trailer's that I have been inside of.Who knows, maybe I will get lucky and they'll move another one in for rent one day. Thanks for everything Mikey and the folks at Kenwood mobile home park.
May 25, 2023 · Kelly RyanI love it here in this moble hone park bugs can be chased out or killed so so be it lmao but the olny ishew i have with any otger is the rent the price to pay for this pkace i think is higg way robbery.
Jan 25, 2024 · Bonnie GodwardIf you rent from Larry and Mike- you can believe that it's a drug infested place. They sell the drugs from the house and from the concrete building where Larry stays. Mike's cousin also keeps and sells the drugs from the trailer he lives in. If they don't like you they will go file fakes charges on you instead of paying for a eviction. They are all p......,The only way they will fight is 2 or 3 on one. I know I went thru it.
