Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Fairdale, Kentucky area? While Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park, located at 1321 Glengarry Dr, Fairdale, KY 40118, USA, is a mobile home park and not specifically an RV park, it is important for local users seeking housing options in the Fairdale region to be aware of the various residential communities available. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of what Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park might offer, drawing inferences based on its nature as a mobile home park and the customer reviews available online. Please note that specific details about all services, amenities, and current promotional information require direct inquiry.
Mobile home parks like Barrington Pointe typically offer a community-based living arrangement where residents own or rent their manufactured homes but lease the land on which they are situated. This model often provides a more affordable housing solution compared to traditional site-built homes, making it a potentially attractive option for individuals and families seeking cost-effective living in the Fairdale area.
Based on the available customer reviews, we can gather some insights into the potential living experience at Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park. One resident who had been living there for three months offered a mixed review. They praised the administrator, Laima, for being "incredibly efficient, always available, and very professional," highlighting her efforts in addressing resident requests and issues. This suggests that the on-site management, at least in the form of the administrator, is responsive and dedicated to resident satisfaction.
However, the same reviewer pointed out a significant issue regarding the lack of action from "higher-ups or the owners." Despite multiple requests and Laima's efforts, their driveway had not been repaired, causing a "major inconvenience." This suggests a potential disconnect between the on-site administrator and the ownership or higher management, possibly leading to delays or inaction on necessary maintenance or improvements within the park.
Another review paints a more negative picture, citing "excessive charges" and "intolerance on the part of the staff." This is a serious concern and suggests potential issues with the park's financial practices and resident relations. The reviewer also described the "streets in dismal conditions," indicating potential neglect of the park's infrastructure. A particularly concerning point is the mention of "flooded streets due to poor maintenance," making it difficult for children to walk and forcing schoolchildren to navigate these conditions to reach the school bus without getting their shoes wet. This highlights significant environmental and safety concerns within the park.
In terms of services typically offered by mobile home parks, Barrington Pointe likely provides essential infrastructure to support its residents. These usually include connections for water, sewer, and electricity to each lot. Residents are generally responsible for their individual utility consumption, while the park management oversees the central distribution systems within the community. Waste management services and basic maintenance of common areas are also commonly provided.
However, the negative review regarding the "dismal conditions" of the streets and the flooding suggests potential shortcomings in the maintenance of these common areas. Prospective residents should inquire specifically about the condition of the roads within the park and the management's plans for addressing any drainage or flooding issues.
To obtain specific details about the services available at Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park, it is crucial to contact them directly at (502) 367-9488 or +1 502-367-9488. When you call, you should inquire about the specific utilities included in the lot rental fee, the availability and cost of any additional services such as cable television or internet access, and the park's policies regarding the maintenance of individual lots and communal spaces. It would also be prudent to ask about the condition of the infrastructure, including the streets and drainage systems.
Features of Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park are not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Mobile home parks can sometimes offer amenities such as community centers, laundry facilities, playgrounds, or recreational areas. Given the limited information and the negative comments about maintenance, it is essential to inquire about any such features and their current condition when contacting the park.
It is also important to inquire about the rules and regulations of Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park. Mobile home parks typically have guidelines concerning aspects such as pet policies, parking arrangements, landscaping requirements for individual lots, and noise restrictions to ensure a harmonious living environment for all residents. Obtaining information about these rules upfront is crucial for a smooth transition into the community.
The negative review mentioning "excessive charges" is a significant concern. Prospective residents should carefully inquire about all fees associated with living in the park, including lot rental fees, utility charges, and any other potential costs. Understanding the complete financial picture is a critical part of the decision-making process.
Given the mixed and, in part, concerning nature of the online reviews, direct and thorough communication with the management of Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park is paramount. By calling the provided phone numbers, prospective residents can seek clarification on the issues raised in the reviews, inquire about the management's response to these concerns, and gain a clearer understanding of the current environment, the specific services and features offered, the park's maintenance practices, and all associated costs. It would also be highly advisable to visit the property in person to assess the conditions firsthand, particularly the state of the streets and any drainage issues, before making a decision.
In conclusion, Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park in Fairdale, Kentucky, presents a situation with both positive and negative feedback from its residents. While the administrator is praised for her efficiency and professionalism, concerns have been raised about the responsiveness of higher management and the overall maintenance of the park, particularly the condition of the streets and potential flooding issues. Additionally, allegations of excessive charges and staff intolerance are serious points of consideration. For local users seeking "RV parks near me" who might also consider a mobile home community, Barrington Pointe warrants careful investigation and direct engagement with the park management to address the concerns raised in the reviews and to obtain a clear understanding of the current living conditions, services, fees, and regulations. A personal visit to the property is strongly recommended to assess whether Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park meets individual housing needs and expectations.

Barrington Pointe Mobile Home Park Reviews
I’ve been living here for three months, and while I’ve had a good experience in certain aspects, there are some issues that need to be pointed out. The administrator, Laima, has been incredibly efficient, always available, and very professional. She has done everything she can to address any request or issue I’ve had. However, the problem seems to be with the higher-ups or the owners. Despite multiple requests and Laima’s efforts, my driveway still hasn’t been done, which has been a major inconvenience. It seems that no matter how hard she works, the management is unwilling to listen or take action on important matters like this.I hope she receives more support so she can continue doing her job well.

Aug 03, 2023 · Alberto BaldizonHave lived here four years. Multiple times reported to office that I had a dead tree in my yard. The manager at the time stated"we will do nothing about the tree until it's literally about to fall over". Well they waited long enough and a wind storm came through and the dead tree fell on my trailer. I own my trailer but rent the land it sits on making the dead tree the managements problem. The manager at the time came by the day the tree fell and told me to turn it into my homeowners insurance even though the land and trees on it are not mine. Maintenance came over and pushed the tree off my roof damaging the siding to my trailer tearing holes in it. My roof leaks because of the damage from their tree causing the ceiling in my bathroom to collapse and black mold to form. My spare bedroom also has water damage from the roof and the ceiling fan now hangs from its wiring harness. My awning over my porch is also damaged from tree limbs falling out of another tree. It's now two years later and the tree is still in my yard. I'm on disability and don't have the money to make repairs to my trailer. So for two years I've lived with this damage and black mold. Every time I bring up anything to do with the tree to the office within a day or two I get a nasty note on my cars doorhandle threatening to fine me for some meaningless reason. Yet the tree and damage caused has yet to be addressed. Yesterday I paid my lot fee and a $50.00 fine because the skirt of my trailer has holes from weed eater damage and a $50.00 fine for not having homeowners insurance plus a $65.00 amenities charge that I've been paying for months that I've just been told by management is for internet when I already get free internet through a government program. Plus garbage went up last month by $8.00 and no notification was given on that. The only fine I received notice on was about my skirt and I covered the holes with white duct tape but that's apparently not good enough. If I wasn't being charged for fines and amenities that I don't use I could actually afford homeowners insurance. The owners of Barrington pointe will continue to fine me till I can't pay then they will evict me and steal my trailer to resale to another victim and start their evil process over again like they have already done to countless others. There are videos all over youtube. Do your research and avoid trailer parks owned by these people.

Sep 11, 2023 · Savannah SaltkillBeen here since 2003, lived with MIL, bought a new place in 2017 and was told my yard would be leveled, since it holds so much water, was told they would put a drain pipe under my porch so it wouldn't hold water and be a mosquito infested pool. Cant enjoy my porch due to getting ate up by bugs. Can barely drive the roads in the evening due to the amount of cars on the roads. NOTHING has changed. We have zero say on what we can have and do on the lot we pay entirely too much to rent. Get fees and increases added yearly and sometimes twice a year. Amenity fees when we don't want the amenity. Add in more play grounds, tornado shelters, repair the roads right instead of putting band aids on them, bring back the lights, enforce the rules to everyone not just some people. (Wait, dont do that, it would increase our rent even more!) Allow fences for everyone or no one. Drive through and speak to the people of the community and see what they want. Instead of the only time anyone is seen is to have notes posted on what is wrong on their lot, get to know people. Wanted an affordable home, and got it with an outrageous lot bill. Hopefully the future holds better options for myself and family.
