LA CASA DE CRISTIAN Introduce
LA CASA DE CRISTIAN is a mobile home park located at 914e E Annie St, Tampa, FL 33612, USA. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or affordable housing options, including mobile home parks, in the Tampa area, it is crucial to carefully consider recent customer feedback regarding LA CASA DE CRISTIAN. The reviews available online paint a concerning picture of the living conditions and management practices at this location, which prospective residents should be thoroughly aware of before making any decisions.
One potential resident shared a deeply negative experience attempting to secure a place at LA CASA DE CRISTIAN. They reported putting down a holding deposit and a security deposit in December, only to wait for over four weeks without the unit being ready and with no firm completion date provided. While they eventually received their security deposit back, their $400 holding deposit had not been returned as of their review in late February 2024, over two months after the initial request. This individual expressed significant frustration with having to "chase ppl down for what they owe me" and deemed the situation "beyond ridiculous," indicating potential issues with the financial management and communication regarding deposits.
Another former resident, who moved into LA CASA DE CRISTIAN in June due to a lack of immediate alternative housing options, described extremely poor living conditions. They stated they were not allowed to see the property until after signing the lease, and upon finally viewing the home, they were appalled by its state. The trailer was described as "filthy and full of bugs," including roaches, termites, and fleas. This raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and pest control measures, or lack thereof, within the park's units.
The financial aspect of living at LA CASA DE CRISTIAN, as described by this former resident, also appears unfavorable. They reported paying "$300 a week," which they considered "crazy," especially given the dilapidated condition of their unit, which they referred to as a "death trap." Specific issues included floors that felt like they would collapse, a severely leaking roof during rain, and electrical outlets "literally hanging out of the wall," posing significant safety hazards. Additionally, essential appliances were reportedly non-functional, with a broken stove and oven, and termite wings were "literally stuck to the side of the fridge" and impossible to remove.
Beyond the condition of the units, the former resident also raised serious concerns about safety and security within the park. They reported "people walking through your yard at all hours," including some instances of individuals "staring at my daughter through her window." This lack of privacy and the feeling of being unsafe were major factors in their decision to move out as soon as an alternative became available. Their overall assessment of LA CASA DE CRISTIAN was extremely negative, calling it "awful" and a "total scam" that "over charges for these run down bug infested trailers." They further accused the management of taking advantage of individuals with limited housing options, which they deemed "not right," and strongly recommended against living there.
Considering these two detailed and highly negative reviews, prospective residents searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks in Tampa should be extremely cautious about LA CASA DE CRISTIAN. The feedback highlights significant issues related to the condition of the properties, financial mismanagement regarding deposits, and serious safety concerns. While the park's address in Tampa might make it appear as a local option, the experiences shared by these individuals suggest a living environment that is far from desirable and potentially unsafe.
The high weekly rent reported by one former resident ($300 per week) for what they described as uninhabitable conditions raises questions about the value proposition of LA CASA DE CRISTIAN compared to other housing options in the Tampa area, including other mobile home parks or even budget-friendly apartments. Individuals seeking "RV parks near me" for potentially long-term stays would likely expect a certain level of basic functionality and safety, which, according to these reviews, may not be provided at this location.
Given the severity of the issues raised, it is imperative for prospective residents to conduct thorough due diligence before considering LA CASA DE CRISTIAN. This would include attempting to view any available units in person to assess their condition firsthand, inquiring in detail about the lease terms and all associated costs (including deposits and weekly rent), and asking specifically about the park's policies on maintenance, pest control, and security. It might also be beneficial to try and speak with current residents (if possible) to gain a broader understanding of the day-to-day living experience within the park.
The lack of any positive reviews in the provided information further underscores the need for caution. The absence of positive feedback, coupled with the detailed accounts of significant problems, suggests that these negative experiences may be representative of the overall conditions at LA CASA DE CRISTIAN.
For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me," the reviews do not directly address the facilities or conditions for RVs at LA CASA DE CRISTIAN. It is unclear whether RV sites are available, and if so, what amenities and services are provided. Given the reported issues with the mobile homes, potential RV residents would also need to be highly diligent in assessing the suitability and safety of any RV accommodations offered.
In conclusion, the available online reviews for LA CASA DE CRISTIAN in Tampa, FL, paint a concerning picture of the mobile home park. Issues related to unreturned deposits, severely dilapidated and bug-infested units, non-functional appliances, safety concerns, and potentially exploitative rental practices have been reported by former and prospective residents. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or affordable housing in Tampa should carefully consider these serious allegations and conduct thorough investigations before considering LA CASA DE CRISTIAN as a viable option. The information strongly suggests that there may be significantly better and safer housing alternatives available in the area.
To obtain further information or to hear the management's perspective on these issues, you can contact LA CASA DE CRISTIAN at (813) 774-8201 or +1 813-774-8201. However, given the nature of the reviews, it would be prudent to independently verify any information provided and to seek firsthand accounts from current residents if possible before making any decisions.

LA CASA DE CRISTIAN Reviews
If I could leave less than 1 star I would. What a mess. Back in December came here trying to get a place. Put holding deposit and security deposit down. Waited over 4 weeks just for the unit to not be ready with no finish date. Got back my security deposit. But I then requested my $400 hold deposit back in January 2024. It's been over 2 months and they have still not given me my $400 back. Been a complete waste of time, having to chase ppl down for what they owe me. I definitely need to get a complaint filed because it is beyond ridiculous to have to wait over 30days for a hold deposit 🙄 😒.
Apr 04, 2024 · Adria TaylorMoved into this place in June because I had no other options at the moment, wasn’t allowed to even see the place till we signed the lease. When we finally were able to see the home, we couldn’t believe our eyes. This trailer was filthy and full of bugs, roaches, termites, fleas, you name it, they had it. They make you pay per week and $300 a week is crazy, especially because it’s literally a death trap, floors feel like they are gonna cave in when walking, roof leaks bad every time it rains, and the electrical outlets are literally hanging out of the wall. The stove doesn’t work and neither does the oven, the termites wings are literally stuck to the side of the fridge and they won’t come off no matter how hard you scrub. People walking through your yard at all hours, even some staring at my daughter through her window. We felt unsafe. Thankfully one of the waiting list at an apartment complex I had applied for in January finally became available and they called me and I was more than happy to move out. This place is awful and doesn’t even deserve the one star it has. I just moved out yesterday! My kids and I are much more happier, and feel a lot safer! This place is a total scam and over charges for these run down bug infested trailers. They take advantage of people that may not have anywhere else to go and it’s not right. I do not recommend living here!!!!
Aug 13, 2022 · Naomi MarieI wish I could give a NO star rating! Early September, I was in contact with Linda and I informed her that I would be moving to Florida from Kansas City, MO on 10/1/21. She said a place would be ready for me I can just pick a place upon arrival. She stopped communicating via email after I paid this deposit asking for updates. They do not answer my phone calls either. When I arrived, we spoke with the ‘Regional Manager’ and I was obviously not happy that a place wasn’t ready to move in like promised so she became very rude and unprofessional. She stated that 3 others turned in their deposits before I did so she will make sure she calls them first. UM I would rather be homeless than rent from this trashy place. I see a lot of other reviews saying they didn't get their deposit back after mailing in a deposit refund letter. I will also write a review on BBB or I will drive up to the corporate office myself. I am GETTING my hard earned money back. PERIOD!
Nov 27, 2021 · B AI stayed in lot 26 for 2 weeks. I couldn’t stay there cause of rats at nights & roaches. Vanya Kruger was the one I signed my lease with. I’m still waiting on my security Deposit back. It has been 2 months I’m filling a lawsuit on them. Disgusting
Jul 29, 2023 · Jeffry BaptisteI'd rather rate them 0 stars. I currently live here and I hate it here. They take forever to do anything. There's a problem with rats getting into the units and they tell you that there's nothing that they can do about it. There's a termite infestation in my unit and all they do is come spray. The experience here has been beyond horrible. They're over charging for these run down trailers and the price is nowhere near worth it. They expect you to pay weekly rent but they don't do anything on their end. Maintenance barely comes to do anything and when you ask them about a work order that you put in they give you all these excuses. It's unlivable and unsafe here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this rental property to anyone
