Lake Sawyer RV Resort Reviews
It was so beautiful, the lake was peaceful and there were a lot of places to fish. Plus the ducks were so cute!
May 05, 2025 · Rachelle Bogart3.3! Definitely not correct! This place is a 10! All day everyday! Definitely a bright diamond 💎 in Black Diamond Washington. Super great place to come for a stay if you travel to the Seattle area! Great place for kids and pets! Small acreage nestled between the shore of a beautiful lake with endless miles of bike trails, or hiking. The Host Kirby and Beth really make this place feel like home!Awesome and Always clean around the property. Kirby does a wonderful job! You will enjoy getting to know everyone on site. Using the park for a work trip and couldn’t be happier. I suggest a stay here definitely 👍🏻 a must!
Sep 07, 2024 · GENERALJUDDStayed here for one night at the very end of our camping roadtrip through Washington and Oregon. This is definitely not a resort. The lake is pretty, though not swimmable from the beach at property due to sludge, mud and plants but still a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the views for an afternoon. The park is dog "friendly" with a lot of rules and there are a few dog friendly restaurants near by ( The Vault is an amazing place to eat and only an 8 minute drive). The list of nice things end here. The campsites are EXTREMELY small. It's basically a large lawn that they have sectioned into campsites with some picnic tables. Zero privacy and I mean zero because you are parked so incredibly close to the next RV.The bathrooms are a disgrace. Only two stalls and two showers. The stalls are awful. One of the toilets has an issue that causes it to run after flushing leaving the tank empty which causes issues with flushing the next time someone uses it. This left one stall almost completely unusable and gross. Shame since this has a very easy fix. The bathroom is covered in cobwebs. Trash cans are full. Floor is dirty and the stall doors don't close properly. I didn't have a shower. Couldn't bring myself to with the state of the washrooms. My partner had a similar review for the men's washroom. There are a lot of locked up/ out of commission buildings on the property. I think in it's heydays it probably had a cafe and an event room? now they just sit messy and locked up. The park has an eerie feel.We have stayed in 10 other campsites/RV Parks on this trip alone. If you are desperate for a layover place for one night, this place will do but I 100% do not recommend this for any longer than that. There are plenty of well maintained and beautiful state and county Parks in the area within a similar price range.Such a shame because the place has the potential to be a great spot but clearly and as stated in many other reviews the poor management has definitely taken a toll on the look and feel of the place.
Jul 07, 2024 · Niloo NeffWe were on a mini-trip from Ellensburg home to the peninsula. Each leg of our trip was uncertain and required last minute booking. We called Lake Sawyer Rv Resort during a busy time of the year (July) the same day we needed a space for one night. Beth assisted us, got us a full service spot, and took care of us. We were greeted pleasantly upon arrival, she made extra effort to fully direct us to our spot (A+ on the dry-erase map directions!), and gave a run-through of the locations of amenities. The park was peaceful with a chill vibe. The island and dock was tranquil. We sat listening to a live band playing on the lake somewhere. SUP boarders and boat traffic were cordial and chatted with us. We will be back! Thanks Beth!
Jul 22, 2024 · Doug FrittsThe views at the lake are awesome. RV spots are spacious and quiet, guarded by large pine trees. Service was great and responsive. Facilities clean. There's a coin Laundromat.
