Lake Side RV Park Introduce
Welcome to Lake Side RV Park, situated at 1257 US-25E in Newport, Tennessee. For those searching under the category "RV Parks Near Me," Lake Side RV Park presents itself as a potentially convenient location in the scenic Newport area. However, it's crucial for prospective residents and overnight travelers to consider the diverse range of experiences reported by individuals who have stayed or rented at this park.
The environment of Lake Side RV Park, as suggested by its name, may offer proximity to a lake, potentially providing scenic views and recreational opportunities. However, specific details about the immediate surroundings, such as the accessibility to the lake for residents or the overall ambiance of the park, are not detailed in the provided reviews. It is important for interested individuals to inquire directly about the park's location relative to the lake and any associated environmental benefits.
Information regarding the services and features of Lake Side RV Park is somewhat limited and contradictory based on the available reviews. One review paints a concerning picture regarding the management and maintenance of the property. This reviewer, who states they were not even on the lake side of the park and paid $1000 per month (excluding electricity), describes numerous unresolved issues. These include alleged inconsistencies in rental pricing based on personal relationships with the landlord, harassment from neighbors reportedly encouraged by the landlord named Jim, arbitrary utility shut-offs despite being paid up, and the repeated release of propane from their tanks. The reviewer also mentions the lack of a key for securing belongings, missing money and items, unauthorized entry attempts into their RV, and damage to their vehicle. Furthermore, they report significant maintenance neglect, including a non-functional toilet for a week and a malfunctioning refrigerator that ruined groceries, neither of which were allegedly addressed by the management. The laundromat is described as expensive ($6 per load due to inefficient dryers at $2 per machine use). This review strongly advises against renting at Lake Side RV Park, particularly for families with children, citing alleged harassment from male residents and disturbing comments made by the landlord towards young girls in the laundromat.
In stark contrast, other reviews present a much more positive experience, particularly regarding the initial welcome and interactions with certain individuals at the park. One reviewer specifically praised the "welcome Wagon," highlighting Marsha and Barbara for making them feel at home and ensuring they had everything needed. This reviewer also appreciated Barbara making special arrangements without being asked and described the park as an "Excellent Little Spot to pass the night while traveling through & feel safe." Another short review echoes the positive welcome and expresses gratitude for being looked after.
Given these significantly different accounts, it is challenging to provide a definitive description of the services and features of Lake Side RV Park. While some individuals have experienced a welcoming and helpful environment, others have reported severe issues related to management, maintenance, safety, and overall living conditions. It is essential for potential residents or overnight guests to weigh these contrasting experiences carefully.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided. The positive reviews focusing on the welcoming nature of certain staff members could be seen as an indirect positive aspect. However, the detailed negative review raises serious concerns that would likely outweigh any perceived promotional benefits from the positive feedback. Potential users should prioritize investigating the current management practices and the validity of the issues raised in the negative review.
For those searching "RV Parks Near Me" and considering Lake Side RV Park, it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence. This should include contacting the park directly at the provided address (a phone number is not listed in the provided information, which is a missing piece of contact information) to inquire about current rates, amenities, policies, and management practices. Visiting the park in person, if possible, and attempting to speak with current residents (if feasible and safe to do so) could provide a more balanced understanding of the environment and living conditions. Given the serious allegations in one of the reviews, it would be prudent to seek corroborating information and assess whether the issues have been addressed.
In conclusion, Lake Side RV Park in Newport, TN, appears to be a location with a wide range of resident experiences. While some visitors have reported a positive welcome and a sense of safety during a brief stay, at least one detailed review describes extremely negative experiences related to management conduct, maintenance neglect, safety concerns, and questionable behavior. Prospective residents and even overnight travelers should approach Lake Side RV Park with caution and conduct thorough personal investigation before making any decisions. The lack of a listed phone number further complicates the process of obtaining direct information from the park management. It is imperative to gather more current and comprehensive information from multiple reliable sources before considering a stay or residency at Lake Side RV Park.

Lake Side RV Park Reviews
Absolutely horrible place to rent from. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! grab your snacks bc this one’s a doozy. First off, $1000 a month NOT including lights and I didn’t even stay on the lake side of the park. While others on the lake side pay $650-$800 just bc they take the landlord out to eat. And no those guys don’t own their own campers either. Neighbors can’t mind their own business and will harass you. Which is encouraged by the landlord Jim. You can be paid up and they will cut your lights off. They let all my propane out of my tanks, repeatedly. You won’t get a key to lock your stuff up. All I heard for 3 months was a copy needed to be made. I never got one. Money and other things have gone missing after leaving for the day. They tried to enter my home not realizing someone was home and I was gone, scaring my son. They broke the spoiler to my car for no reason as I had it underneath my camper since I had been painting it. Nothing will ever get fixed unless you do it yourself. We couldn’t use our toilet for a week and I guess that was acceptable to them bc they wouldn’t fix it. Told them it was leaking, never fixed it. Fridge was messed up and constantly ruining groceries bc the fridge was just filling with water. Still no fix or replacement. The list could really go on. Take my advice and don’t rent from this place. ESPECIALLY if you’re a mom with kids. The men out there will hit on you and harass you. The landlord also made some disgusting comments towards young girls when in the laundromat (which is gonna cost you $6 a load bc the dryers all suck and each time you run any machine it’s $2) he said “I can tell when they’re filling out and gonna grow up to be fine.” That’s predatory thinking right there. Glad I got my family a better home away from those people.
