Lakeview RV Campground Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Branson, Missouri area, Lakeview RV Campground, located at 2820 Indian Point Rd, Branson, MO 65616, USA, offers a potentially appealing option. You can reach them at (417) 338-5211 or +1 417-338-5211 for reservations and inquiries. Based on recent customer feedback, Lakeview RV Campground is characterized by its welcoming owner, scenic views, and a convenient on-site restaurant, although potential guests with larger RVs should be aware of a potentially narrow entrance.
Branson, Missouri, is a popular tourist destination known for its entertainment, natural beauty, and proximity to Table Rock Lake. Lakeview RV Campground's location on Indian Point Road suggests that it may offer picturesque views, possibly overlooking the lake or the surrounding Ozark landscape. The mention of a "nice view" in one of the reviews supports this possibility, indicating that the environment of the campground is a positive aspect for visitors seeking a scenic retreat.
One reviewer who stayed for a week during the off-season (mid-February) had a particularly positive experience with the owner. They had reserved a 30-amp pull-through site but were pleasantly surprised when the owner, described as "a very nice gentleman," upgraded them to a "little bit better pull through that had 30/50 amp service with no extra charge." This act of generosity suggests a high level of customer service and a welcoming attitude towards guests, even during less busy times of the year. The owner also seemed "very happy to have an off-season guest," which can contribute to a more personalized and appreciated stay.
The same reviewer noted the park's hillside location and their initial skepticism about navigating their RV into the site. However, the owner, who stated that he manages a larger rig himself, assured them that it would not be a problem. The reviewer found this assessment to be "absolutely correct," successfully maneuvering their RV into the park. Furthermore, the assigned pad was "very close to level," so much so that they "didn’t even bother with my leveling pads," highlighting the quality and ease of use of the RV sites. This positive experience led the reviewer to state that they "certainly will re-book if I am in the area again" and to recommend Lakeview RV Campground to other travelers visiting the region.
Another reviewer also mentioned the "great location" of the campground and described the area as "quiet," which can be a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing environment away from the main tourist crowds. The presence of a "restaurant on premises" was also noted as a positive feature, offering convenience for guests who may not want to cook or travel off-site for meals. This amenity can greatly enhance the overall experience, especially after a long day of travel or exploring the Branson area.
However, this second reviewer also pointed out a potential challenge for those with larger RVs, stating that the "entrance is narrow with some ruts making it a bit difficult for larger RV." They qualified this by saying it is "manageable if you’re an experienced driver," suggesting that while it may require caution and skill, it is not insurmountable. This is an important piece of information for potential guests to consider based on the size and their experience driving their RV.
Based on these reviews, Lakeview RV Campground offers a combination of positive attributes, including a friendly and helpful owner, scenic views (implied by the name and one review), a quiet atmosphere, and the convenience of an on-site restaurant. The potential drawback of a narrow entrance for larger RVs should be taken into account by prospective guests.
While the reviews provide valuable insights into the owner's hospitality, the location, and a key amenity, they do not offer extensive details about all the services and features available at Lakeview RV Campground. Typically, RV campgrounds offer a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable stay for their guests. These often include:
- RV Sites: Likely offering varying amp service (30 and 50 amp mentioned), pull-through options, and potentially back-in sites. The level pads are a noted positive.
- Hookups: Essential connections for water, electricity, and sewer are standard for RV sites.
- Restrooms and Showers: While not explicitly mentioned, these are generally expected at RV campgrounds.
- Laundry Facilities: Often available for guests, especially those staying for longer periods.
- Wi-Fi Access: Increasingly common for travelers needing to stay connected.
- Pet-Friendly Policies: Many RV parks welcome pets, but it's important to inquire about specific rules and any associated fees.
- Dump Station: For RVers to empty their holding tanks.
- Potentially Recreational Amenities: Such as a playground or small gathering areas, although these are not mentioned in the provided reviews.
The presence of an on-site restaurant is a notable feature that adds significant convenience for guests, eliminating the need to travel for meals. The quiet atmosphere and potential lake views further enhance the appeal of Lakeview RV Campground for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the Branson area.

Lakeview RV Campground Reviews
Reserved a 30 amp pull through site for a week while visiting with family during the off-season (mid February). The owner (a very nice gentleman) moved us to a little bit better pull through that had 30/50 amp service with no extra charge. Owner seemed very happy to have an off-season guest (I never saw anyone else during our stay). The park is on the side of a hill and I was somewhat skeptical of pulling in. The owner stated he has a larger rig than mine and pulls in with no problem. He was absolutely correct in his assessment! I made it in with no problem. The pad was very close to level, I didn’t even bother with my leveling pads. I certainly will re-book if I am in the area again and I recommend them to anyone traveling to the area!
Feb 15, 2025 · Dale LewisEntrance is narrow with some ruts making it a bit difficult for larger RV. Manageable if you’re an experienced driver. Great location, quiet area and the restaurant on premises was good. Nice view.
May 03, 2025 · Kristy BlackWe stayed in cabin 1. Spacious bedroom and loft. Full size appliances. Fully equipped kitchen. Very clean! Extremely close to Silver Dollar City. Just a few minutes to Branson. Trees still had leaves so lake was harder to see. The deck could use 1 more step at the bottom if you are short.
Oct 19, 2024 · Andrea PooleRooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Pool was such a nice addition, Shady Taco was delicious and very convenient as it is located on the campground. We will definitely be visiting this campground again!
