Lamar RV Park Introduce
Welcome to Lamar RV Park, situated at 240 SE 1st Ln in Lamar, Missouri. For local users searching within the "rv parks near me" category for a place to park their recreational vehicle, it is imperative to approach Lamar RV Park with extreme caution. The recent customer reviews available online paint a dire picture of the park's management, environment, and overall suitability for RV travelers. These reviews contain serious allegations that prospective visitors must consider before making any decisions.
One of the most alarming reviews describes an alleged incident where the park management took a resident's RV and moved it without informing them of its new location. The reviewer also mentions potential issues with the park's handling of payments, stating that the management "seems to have issues with collecting and recording payments." This raises significant concerns about the security of personal property and the financial management practices at Lamar RV Park.
The same reviewer goes on to accuse the management of effectively making someone homeless by taking their RV, regardless of the specifics of any payment arrangements. This is an extremely serious accusation that suggests a complete disregard for the well-being and rights of residents. The reviewer concludes by stating that a different handling of the situation could have resulted in a better review, implying that the management's actions were egregious and avoidable.
The second review corroborates the severe issues with management, explicitly stating that "This park has extremely poor management." This reinforces the concerns raised in the first review and suggests a systemic problem with the way the park is run. The reviewer further details significant environmental and amenity-related deficiencies. They describe the park as "a muddy mess when it rains or snows," indicating poor drainage and potentially unsanitary conditions during inclement weather. This lack of proper ground maintenance can make maneuvering RVs difficult and create an unpleasant living environment.
Adding to the list of significant drawbacks, the second reviewer points out the complete absence of essential facilities: "no bathrooms or showers, no laundromat, no playground for the kiddos and no bench!" The lack of restrooms and showers is a major inconvenience for RV travelers, who often rely on these facilities when their own RV amenities are limited or for guests. The absence of a laundromat makes it difficult for longer-term residents or travelers to take care of their laundry needs without leaving the park. The lack of a playground and even a simple bench further suggests a lack of consideration for the comfort and recreational needs of guests and residents.
The second review also addresses a specific and serious dispute with the park management. The reviewer refutes an alleged claim that their family owed money, calling it a "total lie." They then detail a situation where their young adult son, a Marine, faced financial difficulties but intended to pay when able, appealing for respect and grace in the situation. This personal anecdote highlights a potentially confrontational and unsympathetic approach from the park management towards residents facing temporary hardship.
Furthermore, the second reviewer accuses the park management of owing their family money due to an "electrical surge that sparked through our RV frying all our outlets including our fridge, fireplace, converter, and all our small appliances including our Xbox." This is a serious allegation of negligence on the part of the park, potentially causing significant financial loss and inconvenience to the residents. The reviewer states that this incident is the reason they are taking the park management to court, indicating a severe breakdown in relations and unresolved issues.
Adding to the list of grievances, the second reviewer claims that the park management "also turned off our water for a week during this last cold blast but charged us full price." This is a shocking accusation of withholding essential services while still demanding full payment, which the reviewer rightly labels as "thievery!"
Based on these overwhelmingly negative experiences, the second reviewer emphatically states, "All that said, I DO NOT recommend this RV park to Anyone.🤚🏼" This strong and unequivocal condemnation should serve as a significant warning to anyone considering Lamar RV Park.
Considering the platform category "rv parks near me," Lamar RV Park appears to be a facility that falls far short of the standards typically expected. The lack of basic amenities, coupled with serious allegations of mismanagement, financial misconduct, and neglect, makes it an extremely risky choice for RV travelers. Local users searching for a reliable and comfortable RV park in Lamar, MO, should likely look elsewhere.
There is no promotional information whatsoever to be gleaned from these reviews. The experiences shared are entirely negative and serve as a cautionary tale. Any potential positive aspects of the park are completely overshadowed by the severe issues raised by former guests.
For local users searching for "rv parks near me" in Lamar, Missouri, the available information strongly advises against considering Lamar RV Park. The allegations of moving a resident's RV without notification, issues with payments, extremely poor management, a muddy environment, lack of essential amenities, and serious disputes with residents, including a lawsuit, paint a picture of a facility that is likely to provide a negative and potentially harmful experience. Prospective visitors should prioritize their safety and comfort by seeking alternative RV parks in the Lamar area that have received more positive and reliable feedback.
In conclusion, Lamar RV Park in Lamar, MO, based on recent customer reviews, is a facility plagued by extremely poor management, a lack of essential amenities, a muddy and unpleasant environment, and serious allegations of misconduct, including the unauthorized movement of an RV and the cutting off of essential services. The overwhelming sentiment from reviewers is one of strong disapproval and a recommendation to avoid the park entirely. Local users searching for "rv parks near me" should heed these warnings and seek alternative accommodations for their RV travel needs in the Lamar, Missouri area.

Will take your RV and move it and not tell you where it is, also seems to have issues with collecting and recording payments. This was a home for someone. Regardless of payment arrangements he stole someone's home and made them homeless. If he handled the situation differently he'd have a better review.
Jan 31, 2025 · Olivia FoxThis park has extremely poor management, is a muddy mess when it rains or snows, no bathrooms or showers, no laundromat, no playground for the kiddos and no bench! In regards to the false comment about our family (the Panno’s) owing money is a total lie. The Panno’s owe you nothing! Our young adult son hit a few obstacles and lost his job but has vowed to pay you when he can. He is human and life happens! As a young Marine, he should be given more respect and grace. This remains between the two of you. My husband and I owe you NOTHING! It is YOU that owes us money for the electrical surge that sparked through our RV frying all our outlets including our fridge, fireplace, converter, and all our small appliances including our Xbox. This is what’s really going on, and is why we’re taking yall to court! They also turned off our water for a week during this last cold blast but charged us full price. This is thievery! All that said, I DO NOT recommend this RV park to Anyone.🤚🏼
Mar 24, 2025 · Farrah PannoQuiet location, close to town, and I 49. Management does an excellent job of keeping quality tenants for a worry free stay.
Feb 26, 2025 · bryan overstreetNice quiet place to park no matter how long you need. Nice family that runs it as well!
Jan 20, 2025 · Nicholas CoxClean, quiet and friendly. They worked with my schedule and made things quite easy for us on our 1 month stay. Full hookups. No other amenities, but we did not need any. We were just looking for a good place to park while we were in town. I would reccomend.
