Land of Waterfalls RV Campground Introduce
Are you searching for serene and well-maintained "RV Parks Near Me" that provide a perfect gateway to the natural wonders of western North Carolina? Look no further than Land of Waterfalls RV Campground, situated at 15 La Salle Dr in Pisgah Forest, NC. This campground offers a quieter, more intimate RV experience while providing convenient access to the renowned Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Recreational Forest, and charming nearby towns like Brevard, Hendersonville, and Asheville.
For local users browsing under the category "RV Parks Near Me," the location of Land of Waterfalls RV Campground is a significant advantage. Nestled in Pisgah Forest, it lives up to its name by being in close proximity to an abundance of stunning waterfalls and exceptional opportunities for outdoor recreation. Whether you are an avid hiker eager to explore the numerous trails, a fly-fishing enthusiast looking to cast your line in pristine waters, or simply someone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature, this RV park offers an ideal basecamp for your adventures.
Based on recent customer reviews, Land of Waterfalls RV Campground offers a range of features and services designed to ensure a comfortable stay. While there isn't a traditional on-site office, the campground manager is readily available to handle reservations, address issues, and respond to requests via phone call or text message at (828) 270-3539 or +1 828-270-3539. This system seems efficient, with guests reporting quick responses to their inquiries.
The campground offers a variety of site types to accommodate different RV sizes and preferences. Sites 1 through 5 are back-in sites located near the entrance, offering more space around them but potentially less impressive mountain views to the south across the street. Pull-thru sites, numbered 6 through 12, are noted to be closer together but generally provide ample space within the campsite itself to enjoy the provided fire pit (with the exception of the narrower Site #10). It's worth noting that Site #10, while long enough to accommodate a 38' 5th wheel with a tow truck and parked car, is quite narrow, fitting only the RV with stairs down.
All sites, with the exception of Site #10, feature crushed stone and are reported to be fairly level. Essential utilities are well-maintained, with reliable 50Amp power, great water pressure, and a functioning sewer system. It's important to be aware that the campground operates on a well system, so a power outage would result in a loss of water service.
Connectivity is a consideration at Land of Waterfalls RV Campground. Guests have reported no T-Mobile signal for voice or data within the campground itself. However, the park provides complimentary Wi-Fi, which has been praised for its good quality, allowing guests to stream multiple TVs and use computers without issue. A good T-Mobile signal is available outside the immediate campground area.
For communal amenities, the campground features a Camp Lodge. This area offers free Keurig coffee, a TV, and some games for guest use. Comfortable chairs are also available for relaxation. While functional, one reviewer noted the presence of stuffed animals as being a bit unusual. For security, the campground is equipped with security cameras throughout, including in the Lodge.
Convenience is further enhanced by the availability of firewood for sale at the lodge. This eliminates the need to source firewood elsewhere, allowing guests to easily enjoy campfires in the provided fire pits (again, excluding the narrow Site #10). The overall atmosphere of the campground is described as very quiet, contributing to a peaceful and relaxing stay.
The surrounding environment is a major draw for visitors to Land of Waterfalls RV Campground. Its location provides easy access to the extensive hiking trails and excellent fly-fishing opportunities within Pisgah National Forest and the nearby DuPont State Recreational Forest. These areas are renowned for their natural beauty, including numerous waterfalls that give the region its well-deserved name. Exploring these natural attractions is a highlight for many guests.
Beyond the immediate natural surroundings, the campground is also conveniently located near several charming towns. Brevard, known for its quaint downtown area, arts scene, and the Brevard Music Center, is just a 20-minute drive away. Hendersonville and the larger city of Asheville, with its vibrant culture, numerous restaurants, and shopping options, are also within easy driving distance. This proximity to urban amenities provides a balance between the tranquility of nature and the convenience of city life.
Based on the positive reviews highlighting the friendly and accommodating service, the well-maintained grounds, and the excellent location, Land of Waterfalls RV Campground appears to be a highly recommended option for those seeking "RV Parks Near Me" in the Pisgah Forest area. The smaller and quieter atmosphere is a distinct advantage for those looking for a more peaceful camping experience. The clear care and grooming of the campground are also consistently noted by guests, indicating a commitment to providing a pleasant environment.
While specific promotional offers are not mentioned in the provided information, the campground's inherent appeal lies in its location, the quality of its essential services, and the positive experiences reported by previous guests. The willingness to accommodate last-minute reservations, as mentioned in one review, suggests a customer-focused approach.
For local RV enthusiasts planning their next adventure, Land of Waterfalls RV Campground offers a compelling combination of natural beauty, essential amenities, and convenient access to both outdoor recreation and nearby towns. To inquire about availability or make a reservation, you can contact them at (828) 270-3539 or +1 828-270-3539. Discover the charm and convenience of this well-regarded RV park for your next exploration of the Land of Waterfalls.

Land of Waterfalls RV Campground Reviews
We stayed here for the month of March 2025. No T-Mobile signal for voice-phone or data in the campground. You must connect to the campground Wi-Fi, which was very good. We were able to stream (2) TVs plus computers. Good T-Mobile signal outside the campground, though. Site #10 was long enough for my 38' 5th wheel, tow truck, and car park to park, but very narrow. Only wide enough for the RV with the stairs down. But Site #10 was the only narrow site. There’s a nice landscape between sites as well. Sites 1 through 5 are back-in and are down near the entrance. They have more space around them, but not as good of views of the mountains across the street, to the south. The pull-thru sites (6 through 12) are very close together but have plenty of space in the campsite to enjoy the fire pit (except for site #10). All sites have crushed stones and are fairly level with a firepit (except Site #10, which is too narrow). 50Amp power was good, no issues. The water pressure was great, and the sewer was fine, too. The campground is on a well, so if you lose power, you lose water. It's a little strange not having an office. But when I did have a question, I left a VM (or you can text to that same number), and I received a response quickly. The campground manager is on-site but seems to only handle reservations, respond to issues and requests, and no maintenance person on-site. The Camp Lodge has free coffee (Keurig), TV, and some games to play. There are a couple of comfortable chairs too. But it’s a little creepy in there with all the stuffed animals hanging on the walls. There are security cameras throughout the campground, even in the Lodge. They have firewood for sale at the lodge, too. It’s a very quiet area with great hiking and fly fishing just down the road at Pisgah National Forest or DuPont State Recreational Forest. Brevard is a quaint little town just 20 minutes away. Hendersonville and Asheville are nearby, too. Lots of restaurants and shopping all nearby. I’d stay again.
Mar 24, 2025 · Jim JacksonVery friendly and accommodating as we were in a bind with a last minute reservation. Smaller and quieter campground that is clearly well taken care of and groomed. Definitely will be back to Land of Waterfalls next time we explore Brevard!
Nov 30, 2024 · Ryan MarrMy wife and I recently stayed here for 6 weeks, and we had a nearly perfect stay!!Margaret was incredibly accommodating and very helpful with coordinating our arrival/ departure. The campground is cozy, clean, quiet, and extremely conveniently located. We were very pleased with the way receiving packages/mail was handled. We also appreciated the picnic table and fire ring provided for every site, with $4 bundles of wood available on the grounds. The only downside we found to camping here is the lack of a laundry facility. Overall, we loved our time here!!
Sep 08, 2024 · Jay MarleyThis is a very small, quaint campground. Our stay was pleasant and peaceful. The camp host introduced herself and offered any assistance she could provide. The sites were spacious and level. The landscaping between sites really makes it feel more private. There are wood burning fire pits with self serve wood for sale at the front of the campground. We utilized the dog park which is small but very nice, clean and secure. For a nice quiet getaway this is definitely a place we’d go again.
Apr 25, 2024 · Jennifer ChisholmThis is a very small but very nice campground. $54 with our camper card discount. No frills, no pool, bathrooms or activities. You need to be self sustained. Everything is done on line with reservation and payment (although I made the reservation on the phone), but once you arrive, you just pull into your sight. The sight # is given to you in the email they send you. We had no difficulty finding our sight and pulling in. The location is great for seeing some of the waterfalls. Only about 15 min drive to the 1st waterfall we saw. If we ever come back to this area, we will be staying here.
