The community's environment offers a mix of suburban and rural appeal. It is generally described as an "attractive, clean, and quiet community." While some past concerns have been raised regarding the upkeep of certain park utilities, such as parking lot repairs, recent developments and new management indicate a potential for improvement in these areas. The overall atmosphere is noted for being "nice and quiet" after 10 o’clock at night, suggesting a respectful and calm living environment for residents. During the day, residents can be seen taking walks or spending time in their yards, contributing to a sense of community. The presence of nearby trail systems offers residents the opportunity for walks and outdoor activity, and even a baseball field within reach, appealing to active individuals and families.

The community is family-friendly, with multiple bus stops located just steps away, which is a significant advantage for families with school-aged children or those relying on public transportation. For pet owners, the community is pet-friendly, accommodating small pets. Additionally, a notable feature is the availability of RV and/or boat storage, providing a secure place for residents to store larger vehicles or recreational items, a practical benefit for those considering this as a mobile home park and potentially looking for storage solutions alongside their residential needs. Another distinctive feature is the tornado shelter, which can also be utilized for community gatherings or events, as evidenced by a past event where music was played and activities concluded promptly by 9:50 PM, highlighting a respectful community culture regarding noise and shared spaces. While specific details on new homes are not provided, it's generally understood that manufactured homes in such communities often come with modern features like vaulted ceilings, updated kitchens, and efficient appliances, contributing to a comfortable living space.
The aspect of management at Rolling Hills Estates has seen considerable evolution. Recent reviews indicate a period of "hit and miss" with temporary managers, but there has been a positive shift with the introduction of a new local Park Manager who possesses over five years of experience and is described as "very nice." This local presence is often a key factor in addressing day-to-day resident needs effectively. While there have been changes in regional management, with one regional manager being "fired" for not performing his "office part well," the arrival of a new regional manager suggests an ongoing effort by the park ownership to find effective leadership. Despite some challenges with communication regarding home updates and repairs, which are handled via email through the park manager, the overall sentiment points to a management team that is striving for improvement and approval of resident-led home enhancements.
Regarding promotional information, Rolling Hills Estates positions itself as an attractive, clean, and quiet community that residents would be proud to call home. It emphasizes its family-friendly nature and its accommodation for small pets. The availability of RV and boat storage is a definite draw for those who own such vehicles. While some older reviews highlight concerns about utility maintenance and responsiveness of the 24/7 contact number outside of office hours, more recent feedback from residents who have recently moved in suggests a positive shift in management and a generally pleasant living experience. The community's ongoing efforts to establish stable and responsive management are key to its future reputation. For those searching for "RV Parks Near Me" and considering a longer-term, affordable, and community-oriented living solution, Rolling Hills Estates Mobile Homes Community offers a place where neighbors seem friendly, and efforts are being made to foster a harmonious environment. Prospective residents are encouraged to note the recent positive changes in management and the existing amenities that cater to a comfortable and engaging mobile home lifestyle.

Rolling Hills Estates Mobile Homes Community Reviews
Nice place but they don't pay attention to the utilities of the park. My parking lot has been repaired for 2 years and nothing, but they raise the rent a lot and the number that is supposed to be 24/7 is never answered after 6 until they open the office. Very bad in that. I was without water Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until 12 and they fixed it and they damaged 3 pipes and the gentleman tells me that is your problem. I fixed mine at the park. 5 stars. Call me at property 000000

StillIf you want to do any updates to your home..It's all by email through the park manager and I've gotten NO WHERE...As far as the park as a whole , i’ve only been here for 6 months. Now BUT I haven't experienced any issues With Nabors, the few people I have talk to seem nice!Of course people are going to be out during the day, taking walks around the park or spending time in their yards, etc.but as soon as the 10 o’clock hits, everything seems to be nice and quiet!as an example, You can use the tornado shelter for any kind of gathering/host an eventWhich is nice!and they were playing music, etc.but at 9:50 everything shut off. And they were done for the night!I'd say that's better them most places!so ya over all I'd say, so far so good 🤞🏼I will update if anything changes!
Jan 30, 2025 · ian pobanzI like living here we have wonderful neighbors. However anything you want to do to the property you have to ask the office and they never get back to you. And I mean never. I still have yet to hear about putting in a garden or cutting down a big bush that is over growing. And I put in that request six months ago and have continued to ask in person, write letters, call and all I get is “I’ll get back to you” The tree in the front yard is getting too big and they won’t let us trim it claiming “our lawn service company will take care of it” if I’m paying so much money to them I expect to be able to do my own lawn care without having to go through a bunch of loops. They don’t follow their rules they implement. For example they don’t allow certain dogs in their contract yet I see those dogs all over. They expect front lawns to be nicely mowed and neat, but I have to ask if I want a big bush to be cut down. Or if I want to plant flowers in the ground. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise it is a nice neighbor to retire in, but if you’re new home buyers and you’re under 30 I wouldn’t recommend based on what they charge for lot rent
Oct 10, 2024 · jaeleen luedtkeRent is to high and continues to go up. Street repairs should be repaired in the spring, not in August. This would look better with the neighborhood. Pot hole repair needs to flatten down with a roller, not the tires of the cars driving over them. Otherwise the same holes keep coming back.On the positive side, I want to thank you for the new driveway. It is much appreciated. Also use of the answering machine and getting back to people has much improved. Thank you for asking me and residents about our concerns.
Oct 14, 2024 · Gary LavelleRent increases each year by more than $20 which I once received a letter stating that it would never increase by more than that. Anyway if they are increasing the rent by more than they have previously stated they should at least have decent parks for children in the community to play in. The party rooms are also terrible and the staff is never in the office when needed. They inspect your lot to make sure you are complying with parks regulations and expect you to have repairs for your home without any reasonable time frame or give you resources to where or who to get repairs with,(especially if you are a first time mobile home owner) Overall the community itself (neighbors) homes are clean enough and everyone in my block keep to themselves can’t speak for the rest of the park.
