Lawrence Properties Introduce
For those exploring 'RV parks near me' or seeking mobile home living options in Carrollton, Georgia, Lawrence Properties, located at 1065 Alabama St # 36D, Carrollton, GA 30117, USA, is a community that may appear in your search. They can be contacted at (770) 834-3307 or +1 770-834-3307 for inquiries. It is crucial to gather a comprehensive understanding of any potential long-term living situation, and publicly available reviews can offer some insights into the community's environment, services, and features.
Based on the limited publicly available reviews, the environment of Lawrence Properties appears to have undergone changes over time. One reviewer mentions that it "use to be a nice park to live in" when a previous individual, Bill Bounds, was responsible for its upkeep, including the pool. However, recent feedback suggests a decline in maintenance and the availability of amenities. The reviewer notes that the pool was only open for a limited period last year and has not opened at all this year, allegedly due to staff not wanting to maintain it. This indicates a potential issue with the current management's commitment to maintaining facilities for residents' use. Another review describes the location as a "nasty place" based on a personal experience of being hit by a truck driven by an unlicensed and allegedly intoxicated individual within the property. This raises serious concerns about safety and the overall environment within the community.
Information regarding the specific services offered at Lawrence Properties is somewhat limited and potentially concerning based on the available reviews. While typical 'RV parks near me' and mobile home communities usually provide essential services such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups, the recent feedback suggests potential shortcomings in the upkeep of communal amenities. The issue with the pool not being consistently open indicates a possible lack of reliable service in this area. The negative description of the property as "nasty" and the reported incident involving a vehicle and an allegedly intoxicated, unlicensed driver raise questions about the overall management and security within the community. Prospective residents should directly inquire about the full range of services provided, their reliability, and the community's safety protocols.
The features of Lawrence Properties, as perceived through the lens of the available reviews, present a mixed and largely negative picture. The pool was once a valued feature, with the previous manager being credited for keeping it open. However, its limited availability in the recent past and current lack of operation suggest a decline in this amenity. The fact that "most new residents come to live here are from other countries and just really are thankful to find a place to live" might suggest that the community serves a specific demographic with limited housing options, but it doesn't necessarily reflect positively on the overall attractiveness or quality of the park for all potential residents. The serious incident of a visitor being hit by a truck driven by an allegedly intoxicated and unlicensed individual within the property is a significant negative feature, indicating potential safety issues and a lack of adequate oversight.
There is no promotional information available in the provided text. Individuals interested in residency at Lawrence Properties, whether for RV living or mobile home rental/ownership, would need to contact the management directly to inquire about lot rental fees, home rental costs, any security deposits, and the terms of residency. Given the concerns raised in the reviews, it would be particularly important to ask about the community's policies on vehicle operation, security measures, and the maintenance schedule for amenities like the pool.
The sentiment expressed in the first review indicates a decline in the quality of life within Lawrence Properties. The nostalgia for a time when the park was "nice" and the disappointment over the non-operational pool highlight a potential issue with current management or resource allocation. The frustration of residents who are unable to enjoy amenities they expect due to alleged staff negligence is a significant concern for prospective residents.
The second review paints a stark picture of a potentially unsafe environment. The description of the property as "nasty" is subjective but concerning. The reported incident of being hit by a truck driven by someone allegedly drunk and without a license, and the police's inability to take immediate action beyond filing a report, raises serious questions about the safety and security within the community. This type of incident suggests a potential lack of enforcement of rules and regulations, and a potentially unsafe environment for residents and visitors alike.
The fact that new residents are described as being primarily from other countries and "just really are thankful to find a place to live" could be interpreted in different ways. While it speaks to the community providing housing for those who may have limited options, it doesn't necessarily indicate a high quality of living or a desirable community for all. Potential residents should consider why this might be the case and whether the community meets their specific needs and expectations beyond just providing basic accommodation.
In conclusion, the limited publicly available information regarding Lawrence Properties raises significant concerns. The negative reviews highlight issues with declining maintenance of amenities like the pool and, more seriously, potential safety issues including an alleged hit-and-run incident involving an intoxicated and unlicensed driver within the property. For those searching for 'RV parks near me' or considering mobile home living in Carrollton, Georgia, it is strongly recommended to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Lawrence Properties. This should include a direct visit to the property, detailed questioning of the management regarding safety protocols and amenity maintenance, and, if possible, speaking with current residents to gain a broader perspective on the living conditions and overall environment. Without significant positive indicators or a clear address of the serious concerns raised, prospective residents may want to explore other options for 'RV parks near me' or mobile home communities in the Carrollton area.

Lawrence Properties Reviews
Use to be a nice park to live in. Bill Bounds did great job keeping it up and keeping the pool open for the residents during summer . Now - pool only opened half way through the summer last year and only for half a day . This year kids and adults were looking forward to the pool but it still has not opened . I was told the staff said no one wanted to be bothered with upkeeping it . It is really a shame that we residents can not enjoy the pool just because staff does not want to do what they are paid to do . No wonder most new residents come to live here are from other countries and just really are thankful to find a place to live . Writing for a friend .

Mar 17, 2024 · bchavez878Prices are cheap, the ppl who run it have changed and are not as nice but they give us no problems. We wound up with mice all in our furniture and had to throw our couches and beds away.
Mar 03, 2019 · Sylvia MabreyThe speed bumps are 6" tall so if you have a low car you will scrape your oil pan. Also, there are no street lights so if you are trying to make a delivery after dark you are screwed.
Jul 07, 2019 · Patricia GreenI went in the other day to look for a rental the woman behind the counter folder and looked at me with discussed as if we don’t have any rentals.
