Maple Court Introduce
Welcome to Maple Court, a mobile home park situated at 750 S Walker St in Bloomington, Indiana. If you are searching for "mobile home parks near me" and are interested in a community that offers an affordable living option in a convenient location, Maple Court may be of interest. According to one review, Maple Court boasts a "great location near bike paths and downtown Bloomington," suggesting easy access to transportation, recreational activities, and the amenities of the city center. The same review also notes that the park is "clean and affordable with good management," which could be a significant factor for those seeking a well-maintained and budget-friendly living situation.
The positive aspects highlighted in the available review point towards a community that values cleanliness and affordability. Proximity to bike paths would appeal to those who enjoy cycling and outdoor recreation, offering a convenient way to explore the local area. The close proximity to downtown Bloomington suggests that residents of Maple Court benefit from easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and other urban conveniences. Furthermore, the mention of "good management" implies a well-run community that is responsive to the needs of its residents, contributing to a positive living experience.
However, it is crucial to consider all available information to form a comprehensive understanding of Maple Court. While one review presents a positive image, another provides a starkly contrasting account. This second review details highly concerning allegations, including unauthorized entry into a resident's home by an individual described as a "shady crackhead working in the park acting like maintenance and security." The reviewer alleges that this individual stole money from their residence and that the property manager, identified as Karen, initially denied employing such a person but that the same individual was later observed performing maintenance work. These are serious accusations that potential residents should be aware of.
The second review further alleges instances of certain neighbors, purportedly directed by the property manager, engaging in surveillance-like behavior around residents' trailers. This is described as creating an uncomfortable and intrusive environment. The reviewer also recounts a negative change in the property manager's demeanor upon notification of their intent to move out, alleging hostility. Most alarmingly, the review details a second unauthorized entry into their home after they had moved out but still legally possessed the keys, resulting in the alleged theft of personal belongings. This incident led to a police investigation and the arrest of the individual involved, with the reviewer stating they are pursuing legal action against Maple Court for damages.
Additionally, the second review raises serious concerns regarding the property manager's financial practices, alleging a lack of transparency in water bill payments and accusing the manager of theft and drug use. These are very serious accusations that, if substantiated, would indicate significant issues with the management and overall environment of Maple Court.
Given the drastically different perspectives presented in the two reviews, it is challenging to provide a fully objective introduction without acknowledging the serious allegations raised in the negative review. While the positive review highlights location, affordability, cleanliness, and good management, the second review paints a picture of potential criminal activity, mismanagement, and an unsafe living environment. It is important for prospective residents to weigh both accounts carefully and conduct their own due diligence before making any decisions regarding Maple Court.
If the information in the positive review holds true, Maple Court could offer an appealing option for those seeking an affordable and conveniently located mobile home park in Bloomington, with easy access to bike paths and downtown. The mention of "good management" in this review suggests a potentially well-run community. However, the serious allegations in the negative review cannot be ignored and raise significant red flags regarding safety, security, and management practices at Maple Court.
Prospective residents should consider visiting Maple Court in person, if possible, and attempting to speak with current residents to gain a more balanced perspective. Inquiring about security measures, maintenance procedures, and management policies would be advisable. It would also be prudent to check with local authorities or tenant advocacy groups to ascertain if there have been any similar complaints or legal actions involving Maple Court or its management.
In conclusion, based on the limited information available online, Maple Court presents a mixed picture. One review suggests a clean, affordable, and conveniently located community with good management. However, another review contains very serious allegations of criminal activity, mismanagement, and a hostile living environment. Therefore, while the location near bike paths and downtown Bloomington could be seen as a positive feature, potential residents must exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough independent research to ascertain the current environment, services, and management practices at Maple Court before considering it as a place to live. The significant discrepancies between the two reviews highlight the importance of seeking multiple sources of information and conducting thorough due diligence.

Great location near bike paths and downtown Bloomington, clean and affordable with good management
Aug 28, 2024 · J BartWe lived there for a year and that was enough. Karen the property manager had shady crackhead working in the park acting like maintenance and security. We went to the store one day and came back to a neighbor telling us a maintenance guy went in our place. He did not have permission. From us and also there was no notice from Karen in the office either. We had our daughters money jug sitting on our kitchen counter in the corner. We noticed the cap was off and 80 bucks was missing. When we asked Karen office manager she played dumb and said she did not have a maintenance guy who fit the describition working for her. But weeks later we noticed the same guy . Cause our neighbor pointed him out as the one that went into a trailer. Do maintenance work for karen he was also one of the tenants live in there. Karen would have certain neighbors, especially an older lady that lived on the other side. Sit in front of our trailer at times or Walking between people's trailers trying to act like security all they were was tenants. When we finally decided to move out and told her we were moving out in january and we moved out early because of all the weird things that's going on Her demeanor changed and she became very hostile towards us. When we moved out and we still had the keys to the trailer. Cause technically it was our place until the 18th and we did it. It was the seventh of january, I came back to the trailer early in the morning to find. Yet somebody else in our trailer again. I called the police right away because we left a box of our daughter's toys A television and a dresser and a toys and the television was gone. The police arrive to speak with the guy who yet again saying he was maintenance. And the smoke detectors were going off and they had every right to go into that place. When the police arrived , they informed the so called maintenance sky that they did not have the right to go in that place because there was no danger and that it could be known as a criminal act. I immediately press charges. The maintenance guy was arrested and I am currently Taken maple court to court for damages that they caused. Karen, the so-called manager is also a known thief and druggie. Herself, we had to pay our water. Bill through her, but yet she would never produce any of the residents on actual water bill. We had to go to her , and she just decided to tell us the number and told the residents that they had to pay that. I will also be sharing videos of the incident when the cops and I found the maintenance guy so called in my place that morning. Do yourself a favor do not rent anything from Maple court trail park? They are trash, they also have a new owner. Karen is a toothless crackhead and she should not be running any type of business or be in management at all.
Feb 10, 2024 · Dg RI took my dogs for a walk today and unfortunately needed to cut through the mobile home park to get to my destination. A portly, badly permed hair and aggressive woman came roaring down the road in her SUV and shouted “we don’t allow dogs here!” And she proceeded to get out of her car and ran towards me. My dogs were scared and I was too, I saw no sign that said anything especially concerning pets! I felt she was going to strike me so I proceeded to walk faster to exit the park. She followed me with her car for five long minutes. I think this woman is dangerous and will probably end up assaulting someone. All hail the Trailer Park Queen! 🤣
Feb 02, 2023 · Deanna CavenI've walked my dog around admiring the nice homes in this edition for a couple months. My first encounter today with the woman in the office informing me I could not walk there was absolutely ridiculous. I complied and told her I was leaving, and she continues to follow me down the road, extremely aggressive, asking if "I can read." I've walked my dog in town (Bloominngton and Indy) and have never once in my life had such an encounter with a "professional."Every resident I've encountered there are nice as can be, I have to say. This is an appalling way to treat your community neighbors and I encourage no one to put themselves in the situation to have to deal with this person professionally.
Aug 20, 2016 · Caitlin ConleyLived there in the late 90's! It was wonderful! The management team was very friendly. There were a few neighbors that were not so nice. They kept asking if they could "take stuff"!Ah! But the area is nice and quiet!
