Mar 20, 2025 · Kevin PyleOne of the nicest places I have stayed at in the 1 1/2 years that I have been traveling the US. The manager Jason was awesome & very helpful in finding me a mobile RV repair service for some of my issues. The shower rooms were clean & very spacious, the laundry room was clean & had plenty of machines... $4.00 to wash & $1.50 to dry. There is no designated dog walking area, but plenty of grass to walk them at the end of the park. Other than the traffic noise from the highway (it is right on HWY 90 East) it is a very quiet campground.AND very affordable at only $35.00 per night (as of 3/21/24)it is also just down the way from a Wal Mart, Albertsons & a Home Depot etc.
Mar 22, 2024 · Sharon ShriverWe only stayed at this campground for one night as were just passing though on our way to Texas. It’s a nice campground with laundry ($4 per load) and a bath house. There is a small stream/drainage ditch behind some of the sites. Jason, the owner, was very friendly and offered suggestions on things we could do in the area. There was a strong WiFi signal which we really appreciated. Our site had a large cement pad which was great. The only negative with this campground is the traffic noise from the highway but we just turned our fan on to drown out the noise and had no problem sleeping. (Jan. 2024)
Jan 27, 2024 · KristinMaxie's campground is a gem nestled right off the HWY with convenient access to groceries, supplies, and more. The on-site laundry facility and bathhouse are well maintained and there is a park within walking distance. Jason is hardworking, friendly, and has a good team that keeps the property looking great. You can have packages delivered right to the campground and the prices are unbeatable. The neighborhood is safe and cozy. Highly recommend!
Nov 23, 2024 · LCAlmost everything you would need is within a 5 minute drive including a couple grocery stores and St. Julien's park which is great for workouts and evening walks. The grounds themselves have clothes washing and bathing facilities. Whereas, I haven't used the bathrooms, they seemed well maintained.I lived in the campground for a little over 2 years. In that time, I've never had a complaint. Jason, the owner, is always doing something around the grounds for improvement and upkeep. The couple of times there was a need for maintenance, he was either already working on it when I called or would have it fixed within the hour. He takes great pride in the campground and it surely shows. He always has a kind smile and cool demeanor and willing to help when within his means. I've lived on both sections the front and back. Towards the highway wasn't too bad for noise but usually canceled out by the noise coming from the a/c anyway. The back was incredibly quiet, it was nice to hear birds chirping in the mornings again, haha. It was a pleasant place to live and as a solo woman, I never felt unsafe. Thanks again Mr.Jason!
