Meadowbrook Estates Introduce
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" in the Monroe, Michigan area, Meadowbrook Estates, located at 1250 Strandwyck Dr, Monroe, MI 48161, is a mobile home park that may potentially offer accommodations for recreational vehicles. To provide an objective introduction, it is crucial to consider the available feedback from current or past residents, as this offers direct insights into the living conditions and management practices at the property.
Meadowbrook Estates can be contacted at (734) 241-7300 or via their mobile number, +1 734-241-7300. If you are interested in exploring the possibility of staying at Meadowbrook Estates with an RV, it is recommended to contact them directly to inquire about the availability of RV sites, the amenities offered, the duration of stay permitted, and any specific regulations for RV guests. Understanding their policies will be essential in determining if this location meets your needs as an RV traveler.
The customer reviews available for Meadowbrook Estates present some significant concerns that potential visitors or residents should carefully consider. One reviewer expresses frustration with management regarding yard maintenance expectations, stating, "The second day into raining for a week I get a right up for my yard because it has dandelions. How am I supposed to mow or weed whack if it's been raining? This is getting old. I'm tired of being harassed." This suggests a potentially rigid enforcement of yard maintenance rules, even under adverse weather conditions, which could be a point of contention for some residents or visitors.
Another, more detailed review from a four-year resident paints a concerning picture of a "major decline" in the park over the past two years. This reviewer alleges that "Management fails to get anything done or accommodate its tenants." A specific example provided is the repeated failure to fix a non-functioning street light, despite multiple calls spanning several months (from October 16, 2023, to August 20, 2024, with an edit on August 21, 2024, noting it was "Fixed"). The reviewer connects this lack of action to the death of cats being hit by cars in the area due to the darkness caused by the broken street light.
Furthermore, this long-term resident expresses concerns about the park's priorities, stating, "All they are worried about is putting more trailers in and charging a boatload for rent to shitty tenants who just ransack the place." This suggests potential overcrowding, issues with the behavior of some residents, and a focus on increasing occupancy and rent rather than addressing existing infrastructure and community issues.
The reviewer also raises serious security concerns, mentioning that "people's cars are getting messed with every day, and things are being stolen from yards." This indicates a potential lack of security or oversight within the park, which could be a significant deterrent for anyone considering staying there, whether in a mobile home or an RV.
The overall tone of this detailed review is one of increasing dissatisfaction and a call for change: "This is getting ridiculous; something must change." The fact that the street light issue persisted for such a long time, despite repeated notifications, raises questions about the responsiveness and effectiveness of the management at Meadowbrook Estates.
Considering these reviews, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" should be aware of the potential challenges highlighted by these past and current residents of Meadowbrook Estates. While the park is located in Monroe, MI, and offers contact information, the feedback raises concerns about management responsiveness, maintenance, community standards, and security.
It is strongly recommended that anyone considering Meadowbrook Estates for an RV stay conduct thorough due diligence. This should include contacting the management directly to inquire about their policies on RVs, the amenities they offer to RV guests, and to address the concerns raised in the reviews, such as maintenance response times, security measures, and community rules. It would also be beneficial to seek more recent feedback or, if possible, speak with current RV residents (if any exist) to get a more up-to-date perspective on the conditions within the park.
Given the negative feedback regarding management and community issues, it is difficult to ascertain specific positive features or services that might be attractive to RV travelers. Typically, RV parks offer essential hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, as well as potentially providing common areas, laundry facilities, and restroom/shower buildings. However, the reported lack of attention to maintenance and security raises concerns about the overall quality and reliability of any amenities that may be available at Meadowbrook Estates.
As there is no promotional information provided, and the available reviews highlight significant negative experiences, it is challenging to recommend Meadowbrook Estates without significant reservations. Potential users should carefully weigh the location against the reported problems and ensure they have received satisfactory answers to their concerns from the management before making any decisions about staying there.
In conclusion, while Meadowbrook Estates in Monroe, MI, is a mobile home park that might technically fall under the category of "RV parks near me" if they accommodate recreational vehicles, the available reviews present a concerning picture regarding management responsiveness, maintenance, community issues, and security. Prospective visitors and residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough inquiries and seek current information, directly addressing the issues raised in the reviews with the management, before considering this location for their RV or long-term living needs.

Meadowbrook Estates Reviews
Here we go again. The second day into raining for a week I get a right up for my yard because it has dandelions. How am I supposed to mow or weed whack if it's been raining? This is getting old. I'm tired of being harassed. I'm one of the very few who follows rules here. All I ask of others is do the same and this is what I get for that. This needs to stop. Unnecessary
May 02, 2025 · Trinity TuryEdit Fixed 8/21/24I have lived in the park for the last four years, and within the last two, I would say it has seen a major decline. Management fails to get anything done or accommodate its tenants. The first outgoing call was on October 16, 2023. A cat was hit and killed in front of my trailer; the street light was out, so I called to get it fixed, but nothing changed, and more cats got hit there. The second call was on February 1, then July, and then August, but still nothing. They keep saying they'll get it looked at every time. All they are worried about is putting more trailers in and charging a boatload for rent to shitty tenants who just ransack the place. Also, people's cars are getting messed with every day, and things are being stolen from yards. This is getting ridiculous; something must change. EDIT still out as of 8/20/24 9:45 pm I stated the address everytime in the call. Cats just don't dissappear if they're not fed
Aug 22, 2024 · HKinz KinseyAfter applying to the place for rental there in Meadowbrook I can truly say that Melissa made sure to keep up with my application process and offer me the best deal. She was very friendly and seemed like every time I called she knew exactly who I was and I was not even a resident yet. They make sure that you are attended to through the application process and look out for you if you still need a place at a later time. She sent prompt emails and called promptly. Thank you so much for all your help Melissa you have excellent customer service skills I’m so sorry I found another Sun Community close to my husband workplace but I would have choose that place in a heartbeat because even before signing you showed that you cared for our family having a home.
Jan 15, 2025 · Tasharica SandersUpdate 09.03.24: HOME INVASION. BREAKING & ENTERING. THEFT. Police report filed 09.02. Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS. Increased crime rate within the community acknowledged by office a month prior, no steps taken to address. OTHER communities offer security services. OTHER communities have adequate street lights. OTHER communities care about their residents.I cannot stress how UNSAFE this community is. See photo of report below for 2024 SA incidentUPDATE 6/20 Maintenance will tear up property, then will give excuses for SEVERAL weeks as to why they don't clean up after themselves. Putting skirting back on should take less than 15 minutes.....not over a month!UPDATE: It is June, been waiting on a dryer hose since February because "they didn't have any extra" picture attached.Purchase your own storm door BEFORE moving in. "Some come with one, some don't. If you want one, that'll be $350."One example of how greedy & lazy this company is. Quick to find arbitrary reasons to fine residents but give you the run around & drag their feet to fix actual problems (loose dogs, overgrown shrubs, FLOODING)Save yourself money & mental stress. Explore safer options.
Sep 03, 2024 · Ryan SThis park was quite peaceful and quiet when we first moved in , but lately we’ve been getting a lot of section 8 and it’s really showing. Crime is drastically higher and you can’t even walk down the street without people trying to start fights. The cars fly through here and the management does absolutely nothing to stop it.We’ll be looking to move asap.
