Carleton Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local residents in the Carleton, Michigan area and those considering a long-term living situation who might be exploring options within the "rv parks near me" category, Carleton Mobile Home Park, located at 12349 Beech St, Carleton, MI 48117, presents a community with mixed but evolving perceptions based on recent resident feedback. Understanding these perspectives is crucial for anyone considering making Carleton Mobile Home Park their home.
The environment of Carleton Mobile Home Park appears to be generally acceptable to long-term residents, with one stating they have been there for nearly four years and find the "place is fine." This suggests a basic level of satisfaction with the physical environment of the park over an extended period. However, the same reviewer noted a potential issue with "sht talking neighbors that just don't know how to mind their own affairs," indicating that social dynamics within the community might present challenges for some residents due to gossip and interpersonal conflicts. This suggests that while the physical environment might be adequate, the social environment could be a factor to consider. The first reviewer's initial statement that it was a "horrible mobile home park to live in" paints a much more negative picture of the environment, although this sentiment seems to be heavily influenced by past management issues rather than the physical surroundings themselves. The subsequent positive remarks about the new manager and the resolution of a billing error suggest that the environment might be improving under new leadership. Overall, the environment seems to be a point of contention, with potential for both positive and negative experiences depending on individual interactions and management effectiveness.
The services at Carleton Mobile Home Park have been a focal point of recent feedback, particularly concerning the management. The first reviewer's experience with a previous manager, "Michelle," was highly negative, citing avoidance of communication regarding high rent and being charged for services not rendered. The fact that the new manager identified and rectified this billing error is a significant positive development, indicating a potential improvement in management responsiveness and integrity. This suggests that the quality of management services can have a substantial impact on residents' experiences. The second reviewer mentioned "Randy and Michelle" as "good friends" over their near four years of residency, presenting a contrasting positive relationship with at least one of the former managers. This discrepancy in experiences highlights the subjective nature of service perception and the potential for variability in management effectiveness over time. Beyond management, the reviews do not provide specific details about other services typically found in mobile home parks, such as water, sewer, and electricity hookups, trash disposal, or maintenance of common areas. Given that it is a mobile home park, these basic utilities are likely provided, but their reliability and quality are not discussed in the available feedback. Potential residents should inquire specifically about the range of services offered and the responsiveness of the current management to resident needs.
The features of Carleton Mobile Home Park are somewhat implied through the resident feedback. The long-term residency of at least two reviewers (four and eight years respectively) suggests a degree of stability and affordability that makes it a viable long-term housing option for some. The recent positive change in management, with the new manager being described as "nice" and proactive in resolving past issues, could be a significant feature attracting new residents seeking responsible and fair management. The established community, despite the reported social challenges with some neighbors, might offer a sense of belonging for those who value community living. However, the potential for negative interpersonal dynamics is a feature that prospective residents should be aware of. The location in Carleton, MI, provides access to local amenities and services in the surrounding town, although the specific features within the park itself (e.g., recreational facilities, community center) are not mentioned in the reviews. The affordability aspect, often a key feature of mobile home parks, is implied by the long-term residency, but specific details about lot rental fees or home purchase options are not provided. The contrasting experiences shared by residents underscore the importance of looking beyond general descriptions and considering the nuances of community dynamics and management effectiveness as key features of living in Carleton Mobile Home Park.
Regarding promotional information, the provided reviews do not contain any details about specific promotions or discounts being offered at Carleton Mobile Home Park for new residents. Mobile home parks sometimes offer incentives to attract new homeowners, such as reduced lot rent for an initial period or assistance with the setup process. Inquiring about the process of becoming a resident and any specific requirements or fees would also be a crucial step for those interested in moving to Carleton Mobile Home Park.
In conclusion, for local individuals and families in the Carleton, Michigan area who are exploring "rv parks near me" for long-term living options and are considering a mobile home community, Carleton Mobile Home Park presents a situation with both potential and challenges. The long-term residency of some suggests a degree of stability, and the recent positive feedback regarding the new manager indicates a potential for improved living conditions and management responsiveness. Direct communication with the current management using the provided phone numbers is essential to obtain up-to-date information on availability, fees, services, and any current promotions. Carleton Mobile Home Park Reviews
This is a horrible mobile home park to live in. We have just gotten a new manager she seems nice. She also found out that Michelle had charged me for some services that the maintenance had said he had done. I had tried to get ahold of her for 3 months about what was going with my rent being so high but she always avoided me. This manager found it out and fixed it. So I would advise everyone in the park who had or has an issue to talk to her.
May 27, 2024 · Malynda GriffinI've been here little close ot 4 years now, give or take. Randy and Michelle are good friends . I've never had issues with them or the environment itself, put aside a few sht talking neighbors that just don't know how to mind their own affairs as well as adding b.s. to the gossip stemming from their love for the whole "He said, she said." But hey, that's anywhere you go. Just a bit extra of it here. Other than that, the place is fine.
Jan 19, 2024 · J.CASPER SOUND CATALYSTApparently can't have specific guests in my home. Neighbors constantly mowing lawn at 7:30-8:00 on Saturday morning. No notifications when water is going to be turned off for any reason.Manager and maintenance worker can be nice to face but nasty behind back.No notifications but write ups for doing anything wrong and you don't know you are doing wrong.Mgr and maintenance worker have stated from 4 to 5 different states. Can't be sure which is right. Don't think either one actually knows what they are about. Neither one is from Michigan. Am leaving after 4 months and am glad to be going. Have moved on. The manager has been lax in getting the rent report in the mail and I am handicapped, unable to walk to the office to get rent/water combined. I have had enough of her tactics and decided to just leave. I can do better and be better than her. How can a child who never has contact with anyone outside his home get human Parvo? How many states can a person who is not military come from? I have been told by several different residents they have been told several different states themselves. I think something is fishy in Carleton. Very happy to away from there.
Oct 15, 2018 · Connie WestI wouldn't move in this place. She is never in the office and the maintenance man never does anything. I call 6 times to have him help me with a water leak and never called me back. And the owners are ripping the tenants off. For what we pay here they can do so more for the people in here. Someone needs to investigate them
Oct 03, 2022 · Christopher GrondaThe park itself is peaceful and my neighbors are wonderful. However, as a renter it has been difficult to get ahold of management in order to get anything taken care of that was already wrong with the home prior to moving in. The manager also targets certain tenants for no reason. The grounds look awful and they fling broken gravel the size of baseballs at your house when they mow the extra lots, so stay away from the windows. Still waiting on an exterminator 8.5 months later.
