Meadowbrook Manor Introduce
Meadowbrook Manor is a mobile home park located at 7280 W Mount Morris Rd in Flushing Township, Michigan. For individuals and families in the area searching for 'RV parks near me' with an interest in long-term residential options, mobile home communities like Meadowbrook Manor can offer an alternative to traditional housing. However, recent reviews from residents present a somewhat contrasting view of the community, indicating a potential shift in its environment and management over time.
One recent review offers a stark contrast to what the community may have been in the past. A long-term resident describes a significant decline in the quality of life at Meadowbrook Manor. This reviewer, who has apparently lived there for a considerable period, expresses disappointment that what was once a "nice/clean place to raise children" has become "the exact opposite." This suggests a perceived deterioration of the community's environment and overall appeal. Specific concerns raised include "constant water tests," the presence of "trees with pathogens," and a pattern of "crime after crime." These are serious allegations that would understandably concern prospective residents.
The long-term resident also mentions frequent changes in management, which can often lead to instability and inconsistent enforcement of community standards. Despite paying bills on time, this resident expresses feeling "kinda stuck here" due to the financial implications of moving, highlighting a potential challenge faced by long-term homeowners in mobile home parks. A particularly disruptive issue mentioned is a "loud music maintenance man driving down the street back and forth constantly all day long," indicating a potential lack of consideration for residents' peace and quiet.
In contrast to this negative long-term perspective, a more recent review from someone who conducted a walkthrough offers a positive initial impression. This individual states they were "very impressed" by the community and found everyone to be "very kind and Professional." They were particularly impressed by the "cleanliness" of the park and indicated they would "definitely consider" living there. This suggests that the visual appeal and initial interactions with staff may be positive for newcomers.
The discrepancy between these two reviews highlights the importance of considering both short-term impressions and the experiences of long-term residents when evaluating a mobile home community. The positive walkthrough experience suggests that Meadowbrook Manor may still present well initially and have courteous staff. However, the serious concerns raised by the long-term resident regarding water quality, tree health, crime, management instability, and noise issues cannot be dismissed.
For those searching for 'RV parks near me' with the intent of finding a permanent or long-term living situation, Meadowbrook Manor presents a complex picture. The potential for a clean and professionally managed environment, as perceived during a walkthrough, could be appealing. However, the allegations of significant problems like water contamination, tree diseases, and crime raise serious red flags about the overall safety and quality of life within the community.
The issue of "constant water tests" could indicate ongoing problems with the water supply, potentially affecting residents' health and daily routines. The mention of "trees with pathogens" suggests a lack of attention to landscaping and potential environmental hazards within the park. The repeated reference to "crime after crime" is particularly alarming and would warrant serious investigation by anyone considering moving into Meadowbrook Manor. Frequent management changes can also lead to a lack of consistent leadership and a decline in community standards over time.
The specific location in Flushing Township, MI, might offer certain advantages in terms of access to local amenities, schools, and services. However, the internal environment and management of the mobile home park itself are critical factors for residents' well-being and satisfaction.
Given the conflicting reviews, prospective residents should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions about Meadowbrook Manor. This should include:
- Contacting the management at (810) 639-2170 or +1 810-639-2170 to inquire about the issues raised in the negative review, such as water quality, tree health, crime prevention measures, and management stability.
- Visiting the community multiple times at different times of the day and week to observe the environment, noise levels, and overall atmosphere.
- Attempting to speak with current residents (beyond those who have left online reviews) to get a broader range of perspectives on living in Meadowbrook Manor.
- Inquiring about security measures in place to address the reported crime issues.
- Asking about the frequency and results of water tests and any measures being taken to ensure water quality.
- Observing the condition of the trees and landscaping throughout the community.
- Clarifying the policies regarding noise, particularly from maintenance activities.
It is important to note that the positive walkthrough experience provides only a snapshot in time and may not reflect the daily living conditions or long-term experiences within the community. The serious concerns raised by the long-term resident should be carefully considered and thoroughly investigated.
In conclusion, Meadowbrook Manor in Flushing Township, MI, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available reviews. While a recent walkthrough suggests initial cleanliness and professional staff, a long-term resident describes a significant decline in the community, citing concerns about water quality, tree health, crime, management instability, and disruptive noise. For local users searching for 'RV parks near me' with an eye towards a permanent home, Meadowbrook Manor warrants careful scrutiny and thorough investigation of the issues raised by the long-term resident before any commitment is made. The stark contrast in experiences suggests a community that may be facing significant challenges, and prospective residents should proceed with caution and seek comprehensive information before considering making Meadowbrook Manor their home.

Meadowbrook Manor Reviews
this is the first time i’ve had to revise a positive review. what was once a nice/clean place to raise children has become the exact opposite. constant water tests. trees with pathogens. crime after crime. i’m kinda stuck here unless I want to suffer a third mortgage/lease. management has changed constantly. I pay my bills on time, usually early. one newly added pleasure is the loud music maintenance man driving down the street back and forth constantly all day long. 🤷♂️
