Westwood Heights Mobile Home Introduce
Welcome to your resource for finding "RV parks near me" and exploring mobile home communities in Flint, Michigan. Westwood Heights Mobile Home, situated at 4135 Dolan Dr, Flint, MI 48504, is one such option. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective understanding of Westwood Heights Mobile Home based on publicly available customer reviews, highlighting aspects such as the environment, services, and features.
When considering a mobile home park or an extended stay in an RV park, factors like community support, management integrity, cost of living, safety, and the overall environment are important. The following overview is compiled from real customer feedback found online to help you assess if Westwood Heights Mobile Home might be a suitable choice for your needs.
The available customer reviews for Westwood Heights Mobile Home present starkly contrasting viewpoints. One reviewer highlights a significant positive aspect: during the summer months, a food bank truck reportedly stops by daily to provide food for children under the age of 18. This suggests a level of community support and an effort to address food insecurity among younger residents. The same reviewer also mentions that efforts are underway to improve the trailer park, indicating potential ongoing development or maintenance initiatives.
However, the second review paints a very negative picture of the property. This reviewer states that the "place is absolutely terrible," and accuses the owners and managers of being "liars" who do not uphold their agreements. Significant financial concerns are raised, with the reviewer mentioning "extreme water and sewer bills." Additionally, they advise potential residents to "be prepared to spend a ton on Roach spray," indicating a potential pest problem. The reviewer explicitly states that it is "Not a place to raise your children" and alleges that "Gun shots" occur "all the time," raising serious safety concerns. This reviewer feels that the reality of living at Westwood Heights is far from what it might appear initially and suggests that moving in will reveal the true conditions, cautioning that it's only worthwhile if one has "money to waste."
Considering these two reviews, we see a dichotomy. On one hand, there's evidence of community support for children and ongoing efforts for improvement. On the other hand, there are serious allegations of dishonesty from management, high utility costs, pest issues, and safety concerns. These contrasting experiences make it crucial for potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home at Westwood Heights to carefully weigh these points.
Based on this information, local users might want to consider the following to gain a more informed perspective:
- Contacting the provided phone numbers, (810) 285-8534 or +1 810-285-8534, to inquire about the current state of the park, management practices, utility costs, pest control measures, and safety protocols.
- Seeking more recent reviews or testimonials from other residents to see if a consistent pattern emerges or if there are varying experiences within the community.
- If possible and if comfortable, visiting the location to get a sense of the environment and the overall condition of the property. Observing the neighborhood and asking current residents (if the opportunity arises) about their experiences could provide valuable insights.
Given the severity of the negative allegations, particularly regarding safety and management integrity, it is imperative for potential residents or visitors to conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions regarding Westwood Heights Mobile Home. While the presence of a food bank for children is a commendable community support initiative, the concerns raised about living conditions and safety are significant and warrant careful consideration.
For those specifically looking for short-term RV parks, the potential issues with high utility bills and pest problems might be less of a concern than for long-term residents. However, safety remains a paramount consideration for all.
There is no explicit promotional information available in the provided text, beyond the mention of ongoing improvements. In conclusion, Westwood Heights Mobile Home in Flint, MI, presents a complex picture based on the limited reviews available. The presence of a food bank for children and reported efforts for improvement are positive indicators. However, serious allegations regarding dishonest management, high utility costs, pest infestations, and safety concerns cannot be overlooked. The food bank truck stop by there everyday during the summer months to feed the children under the age of 18 everyday they are working on items to improved the trailer park.
Jul 02, 2024 · Christina FoxPlace is absolutely terrible. Owners and managers are liars. Don't hold up on any of there agreements. Extreme water and sewer bills. Be prepared to spend a ton on Roach spray. Not a place to raise your children. Gun shots all the time. Nothing is like they make it appear. Move in and you will see for yourself. Just make sure you have the money to waste.
Jun 06, 2016 · Me MeThe park use to be a decent park for cheaper. Since new manager came in he has drove away most of the people living there. The park it really crap. The trailers are falling down or are torn up inside. The park is infested with roaches in most of the trailers. Over ran with cats, as well. Not worth the money.
Aug 05, 2016 · Al ASKWorst place yet. I moved in in february of 2017. It was affordable and thought I could turn it around to make a profit. Wrong! They said they replaced the flooring, carpet was new but the subflooring was rotted out. Discovered that after my home flooded after only 2 weeks of living there because the pipes were constantly freezing and they refused to fix it, had to rip up the carpet to discover mold and giant gaping holes in the subflooring that my toddler could've fallen through. They refused to fix it. Said they MIGHT have the supplies to do it. On top of it they tried to charge me $120 for heat tape around my pipes that they never put on to begin with! There was old tape wasting away from 10 years ago!! The neighbor I had continuously took in fellons, we had crack heads reaching into our community mailbox. I fell behind on rent trying to make my home livable again, fixing the things they refused to. On the plus side they offered to have me clean trailers to work off what I owed. I have copies and pictures and videos of the original deal I had made with nate and yolanda. They gave me written copies of what my amount owed was and I kept a log for myself, including photos and videos of the trailers I did clean. When i left the park for my childs well being, I owed about just over $300 and they sent a bill to collections for just under a $1,000 to hit my credit. This place is scum. Sure they were decent enough to let me clean their moldy trailers, but for what?? For free?? I even have photos of mushrooms growing out of the ceilings. Horrible place to raise a child. And they can tell you all they want that it's mt morris township water... It's not. It's flint water. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Not to mention the news just did a report of a shooting about a month ago. Honestly, the whole park needs to be demolished.
Aug 09, 2018 · Lindsey DziesinskiThe landlord does not follow Michigan state rental laws. He's tried to evict my mom every month before the month was even over. For late payment, bounced check (accidental) and even tried to take her to court while she was in the hospital getting open heart surgery. The road has several large holes thru out the entire park. A lot of them are the size of coy ponds. There was an incident in the winter that someone was actually ran over in a field next to my mom's trailer by a car. She's had people knocking on her windows in the middle of the night. It's not safe here. There's been fires on two different trailers within weeks of each other.
