Meadowlark RV & Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mobile home community in the Port Neches, Texas area? Meadowlark RV & Mobile Home Park, located at 3001 8th St, Port Neches, TX 77651, USA, is presented as a community currently undergoing changes and improvements under new management. You can reach them for inquiries at (832) 422-7368 or their mobile number, +1 832-422-7368. Based on recent customer reviews, Meadowlark RV & Mobile Home Park presents a mixed picture of a community with friendly residents but also facing challenges that the new management is reportedly addressing.
One of the positive aspects highlighted by a resident is that "Nice people dwell there." This suggests a friendly and neighborly atmosphere within the community, which can be a significant factor for those seeking a welcoming environment among "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks. Having friendly neighbors can contribute to a sense of belonging and make the living experience more enjoyable.
However, several reviews point out areas needing improvement. One resident describes the park as "Under managed.." This suggests potential inconsistencies in the enforcement of community rules and the overall organization of the park. Another reviewer simply states "Dirty," indicating concerns about the cleanliness of the common areas or the park as a whole. These comments raise potential considerations for prospective residents who prioritize cleanliness and efficient management when looking at "RV parks near me" or mobile home communities.
Further concerns are raised by a resident who notes that "Almost anything goes without much supervision of following rules." This lack of rule enforcement can lead to issues that affect the quality of life for residents. The same reviewer also mentions "Loud" conditions and "Dogs barking ALL night," indicating potential noise disturbances that could impact the peace and quiet of the community. These are important factors for those seeking a tranquil living environment within "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks.
Another significant concern is "Speeding vehicles without regard to community." This poses a safety hazard for residents, especially children and pets, and detracts from the sense of community and safety within the park. The reviewer's "Prayerful for improvement" sentiment underscores the desire for positive changes within Meadowlark RV & Mobile Home Park.
In contrast to these negative comments, a more recent review offers insights into ongoing improvements under new management. This reviewer mentions "New manager cable package internet. Water trash yard maintenance. Lot rent in one bill 535." This indicates a positive development in terms of services offered and the convenience of a bundled monthly bill. The inclusion of cable and internet packages can be a significant draw for many RV and mobile home residents. The inclusion of water, trash, and yard maintenance in the lot rent provides a more predictable and potentially convenient monthly expense.
However, this more recent review also acknowledges some of the existing challenges, stating, "People do speed through here at times and alot of rules better too own home rent high on some get over water usage rent higher no one sight hard too get any one here." This suggests that while improvements are being made, issues such as speeding within the park persist, and there are concerns about rental costs and the availability of on-site management. The comment "Only time hard get some one is holidays...this work in progress" indicates that the new management is still in the process of implementing changes and may not always be readily available, particularly during holidays.
Considering these mixed reviews, Meadowlark RV & Mobile Home Park appears to be a community in transition. While it benefits from having "nice people" residing there and is undergoing improvements under new management, it has also faced challenges related to management oversight, cleanliness, noise, rule enforcement, and speeding within the park. The new management is taking steps to address some of these concerns by offering bundled services like cable, internet, water, trash, and yard maintenance in the lot rent. However, some issues, such as speeding and concerns about rental costs and on-site management availability, seem to persist.
For local users exploring "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks in Port Neches, Meadowlark RV & Mobile Home Park presents a situation where potential benefits, such as the new bundled services and the presence of friendly residents, need to be weighed against the reported challenges of past management and ongoing issues like speeding and limited on-site management. The park's efforts to improve under new management are a positive sign, but prospective residents should likely inquire about the current status of rule enforcement, cleanliness, noise levels, and management availability to make an informed decision.
In conclusion, Meadowlark RV & Mobile Home Park is a community in Port Neches, TX, that is reportedly under new management and implementing improvements such as bundled utility and service packages. While residents note the friendly atmosphere, past reviews indicate issues with management oversight, cleanliness, noise, and speeding. The new management appears to be working on these areas, but some challenges may still exist. For those considering Meadowlark RV & Mobile Home Park as one of the "RV parks near me" or as a mobile home living option, it is recommended to contact the management at (832) 422-7368 or +1 832-422-7368 to get the most up-to-date information on the current living conditions, rule enforcement, amenities, and the progress of the ongoing improvements. Jul 09, 2020 · Ivan GuillenI lived here for a few months, a year ago. I can really complain about living there itself. It was quiet, not many complaints. Management was all over the place, got different answers from different people. Someone from the park suddenly called me stating I was paying the wrong amount (that I had been paying for about 8 months) and the rent was going up so I decided to move out. I gave them the proper 30 day notice. I was advised I would get my security deposit that I paid during move in back by check in the mail. About 6 month after moving out I called to ask about it being I still have yet to receive anything and was told they would give me a call back after talking to the property manager. Here we are about a year later and i still have yet to hear anything back or receive my security deposit back. We left the property in better condition than we found it (the water spigot was broken during move in and we paid out of pocket to fix it)**edit: finally received my security deposit in the mail, looks like the address was written incorrectly on the envelope so it was not delivered and they didn’t bother to try and confirm the address after being returned!
