Idk , it seems like a decent park. I don't live here , never have. But visit family here very often. Maybe 2-3 times a week. The managers are not insane with power or enforcing "rules " that don't really need to exist anyway. So total plus here. For example Nothing worse than trying to live a normal life and have a childs birthday party at your house but the vehicle limit your allowed to have is 2. Over flow parking is big enough for 2 more cars and it's a half mile awayI have seen places like this that are just completely uninhabitable because you can't be out side after dark ,can't work on or wash cars, can't build , can't have a work shed for even small repairs. can't ,can't can't ! So if that's what you enjoy or like to control others by being a unofficial park monitor or tattle tell this probably isn't the place for you. - Dave lambardo

Meadows Park, LLC Introduce

Are you currently seeking information about "RV parks near me" that might also encompass mobile home living options in the Sutherlin, Oregon area? While the platform category focuses on RV parks, it's important to consider nearby mobile home parks like Meadows Park, LLC, located at 550 S State St, Sutherlin, OR 97479. Understanding the environment, services, features, and community aspects of such parks is crucial for local users exploring various long-term and potentially more permanent housing solutions. Based on publicly available online reviews, Meadows Park, LLC presents a mixed perspective, with some highlighting positive aspects while others express significant concerns.

One reviewer, who does not reside in Meadows Park but visits family there frequently (2-3 times a week), offers a seemingly neutral initial impression, stating, "Idk, it seems like a decent park." This suggests that from a visitor's standpoint, the park may present an outwardly acceptable appearance. However, this same reviewer goes on to highlight a perceived positive attribute regarding the management style. They note that the managers are not overly strict or prone to enforcing unnecessary rules, stating, "The managers are not insane with power or enforcing 'rules' that don't really need to exist anyway. So total plus here." This perspective suggests a potentially more relaxed and less restrictive living environment compared to some other communities.

To illustrate this point, the reviewer provides a specific example related to vehicle limitations during gatherings. They mention the frustration of a two-vehicle limit, especially when hosting events like a child's birthday party. They point out the availability of overflow parking, albeit a half-mile away, implying that the existing parking regulations might be perceived as inconvenient for residents and their guests. This anecdote suggests a potential balancing act between maintaining order within the park and accommodating the practical needs of residents and their visitors.

Expanding on the theme of potentially less restrictive rules, the reviewer contrasts Meadows Park with other places they have encountered, which they describe as "completely uninhabitable" due to excessive prohibitions. They list examples such as restrictions on being outside after dark, working on or washing cars, building sheds for small repairs, and a general atmosphere of constant "can't, can't, can't!" The reviewer suggests that if one enjoys such stringent control or seeks to act as an "unofficial park monitor," Meadows Park might not be the right fit. This paints a picture of a community that, at least from this perspective, might offer more freedom and flexibility to its residents in terms of their activities and use of their property.

However, a contrasting and significantly more critical perspective is offered by another reviewer who states they have lived in Meadows Park for nearly 18 years. This long-term resident expresses considerable dissatisfaction, stating, "If I didn't own my home I would have left a LONG time ago 😔." This strong statement immediately signals significant issues within the park from the viewpoint of at least one long-term resident.

This reviewer raises several serious concerns regarding the current management. They allege that the manager "comes on your lot without notice whenever he pleases" and "also makes demands that are unreasonable." Furthermore, they claim the manager "yells at my teens and tells them he's going to take away they're home." These are serious accusations that paint a picture of potentially unprofessional and intimidating management behavior, leading to a negative living environment for this resident and their family.

The long-term resident further laments the deterioration of the park over time, stating, "it's getting pretty bad in here and it used to be a family friendly pretty peaceful park." This suggests a decline in the overall quality of life within Meadows Park. They also claim that the park management does "absolutely nothing to improve the park," indicating a lack of investment or maintenance that is impacting the residents' living experience.

A significant issue raised by this reviewer is the allegation of favoritism. They state, "there is a lot of favoritism here they're family lives in the park also and they don't have to follow the same rules!" Such disparities in rule enforcement can breed resentment and create an unfair living environment for other residents. The feeling of unequal treatment can significantly erode community spirit and resident satisfaction.

The long-term resident concludes with a strong warning to potential homebuyers, stating, "It's not pleasant to live in here you're just throwing away you're money and you don't feel anything like a homeowner so beware before you buy a home in Meadows Park in Sutherlin Oregon." This powerful statement underscores the depth of their dissatisfaction and serves as a cautionary note for anyone considering purchasing property within the park. The sentiment of not feeling like a homeowner despite owning their mobile home suggests potential issues with park regulations, management interactions, or the overall living experience that diminish the sense of ownership and control.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive and uniformly positive introduction to Meadows Park, LLC. While one perspective highlights a potentially more relaxed management style and fewer restrictive rules compared to some other communities, the other long-term resident paints a concerning picture of unprofessional management, lack of park improvements, allegations of favoritism, and an overall unpleasant living environment. These are serious issues that potential residents would need to carefully consider and investigate further.

Given the information available, it is crucial for local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living in Sutherlin to approach Meadows Park, LLC with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This would involve contacting the park management directly at (541) 459-7662 or +1 541-459-7662 to inquire about current policies, regulations, and any ongoing improvements or issues within the park. It would also be highly advisable to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain a broader understanding of the living experience within Meadows Park from multiple perspectives. Visiting the park in person to assess the environment and the condition of the facilities would also be a critical step in the decision-making process.

In conclusion, while Meadows Park, LLC is a mobile home park located in Sutherlin, Oregon, the available online reviews present a complex and somewhat contradictory picture. Potential residents may find the less restrictive management style appealing, as highlighted by one reviewer. However, the serious concerns raised by a long-term resident regarding management conduct, lack of park improvements, and allegations of favoritism cannot be ignored. Therefore, local users exploring housing options beyond traditional "RV parks near me" and considering Meadows Park, LLC should proceed with caution, conduct thorough research, and seek firsthand information before making any decisions about residing in this community.
