Meadowview Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Valparaiso, Indiana area, Meadowview Mobile Home Park, located at 807 Greenfield Ln, Valparaiso, IN 46385, USA, is a mobile home park that may offer possibilities for RV parking. You can contact them at (219) 762-5312 or their mobile number +1 219-762-5312 to inquire about the availability of RV sites and the services offered.
It is important to consider the diverse perspectives presented in the available customer reviews to form a balanced understanding of Meadowview Mobile Home Park, especially if you are considering it as a potential location for your RV. The reviews offer contrasting experiences, highlighting both potential drawbacks and positive aspects of the community and management.
One detailed review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the park's infrastructure and management practices. This reviewer points out the presence of "very bad potholes everywhere" on the roads within the trailer park, noting that repeated attempts to fix them have been unsuccessful due to the alleged use of unqualified personnel. Driveway conditions are also criticized, with more than half being described as dirt, leading to muddy parking areas.
Furthermore, this review mentions specific rules and fees that potential RV visitors should be aware of. There is reportedly a vehicle limit, and pets are not allowed. Additionally, residents are charged a $60 fee if the park management mows their lawn, which is added to the monthly rent of approximately $830. The reviewer claims that residents are not given a genuine opportunity to mow their own lawns, with the park's mowing service being implemented when the grass reaches a short 1-2 inches in height.
Concerns are also raised regarding the responsiveness of maintenance to issues within the mobile homes. The reviewer states that maintenance requests are often ignored or addressed with significant delays, citing an instance where it took 3-4 calls for an electricity problem to be resolved. The review also notes the presence of numerous empty mobile home lots that have remained vacant for about two years, suggesting potential issues with attracting new residents or maintaining the overall upkeep of the community.
The condition of the mobile homes upon move-in is also criticized, with claims that they are often dirty on the outside and sometimes have unswept floors inside. Interior features are described as including fragile wallpaper walls with missing trimmings and exposed nails, and incomplete carpet installation. Previous residents' smoking or vaping habits allegedly left yellow stains on ceilings and walls, which were not thoroughly cleaned by maintenance. Similarly, bathtubs are described as being yellow and containing "nasty bacteria." Finally, the reviewer mentions the presence of easily damaged popcorn ceilings that accumulate dust rapidly.
In stark contrast to this negative account, another reviewer, identifying as a resident with two autistic children, expresses a very positive experience at Meadowview Mobile Home Park, stating, "I love it here compared to my last place." This reviewer praises Nikki and the staff as "wonderful" and notes seeing maintenance actively working and greeting residents. Nikki, the manager, is specifically commended for being "wonderful" to the reviewer and their family, and for her communication efforts, reportedly always calling back or emailing the same day if a phone call is missed.
This positive review also highlights prompt maintenance service, with quick responses to a toilet and bathtub problem upon move-in, and consistent follow-up from Nikki. The reviewer describes the outside of the homes as "beautiful and well kepted up" and expresses gratitude to the staff for creating a welcoming atmosphere. The interior of the homes is also described as "beautiful," and the reviewer emphasizes their satisfaction with choosing to live at Meadowview, particularly noting their children's happiness.
Considering these significantly different perspectives, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully weigh the potential benefits and drawbacks of Meadowview Mobile Home Park. The positive review suggests a responsive management team, a well-maintained exterior environment, and a welcoming community atmosphere, at least for some residents. However, the negative review raises serious concerns about infrastructure (roads and driveways), restrictive rules (no pets, vehicle limits), additional fees (lawn mowing), slow maintenance response, and the condition of the mobile homes themselves.
For RV travelers, some of these concerns might be less relevant if they are only looking for a temporary parking space. However, the issues related to road conditions, pet restrictions, vehicle limits, and the overall management responsiveness could still impact their experience. It is crucial to directly contact Meadowview Mobile Home Park to inquire specifically about their RV accommodations, including:
- Availability of RV Sites: Determine if they have designated RV sites or if RVs are permitted on any of the mobile home lots. If so, ask about the number and size of available spaces.
- Hookup Facilities: Inquire about the types of hookups available for RVs (e.g., water, electricity – specify amperage – sewer).
- Site Conditions: Ask about the condition of the RV sites and the roads leading to them, referencing the reported pothole issues.
- Pet and Vehicle Policies: Confirm their policies on pets and vehicle limits for RV guests.
- Amenities for RV Guests: Inquire about any amenities offered to RV travelers, such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or a dump station.
- Maintenance Services for RVs: Understand how maintenance issues for RVs are handled and the availability of emergency services.
- Rates and Fees for RVs: Obtain detailed information about their pricing for RV sites, including any daily, weekly, or monthly rates, and any additional charges.
Given the conflicting reviews, it is highly recommended that potential RV visitors contact Meadowview Mobile Home Park directly and ask detailed questions to ascertain if it meets their specific needs and expectations. It might also be beneficial to visit the property in person, if possible, to assess the conditions for themselves. Comparing Meadowview with other "RV parks near me" in the Valparaiso area will allow for a more informed decision based on your priorities and requirements for a comfortable and convenient RV stay.

Meadowview Mobile Home Park Reviews
This trailer park has very bad potholes everywhere and they have tried to fix them multiple times but they don't ever get the right people. The driveways are all very bad and more than half of them only have dirt as the driveways which makes it a very muddy spot to park. There is a vehicle limit and there are no pets allowed. They also charge you $60 when they have to mow your lawn and they tack it onto your rent which is about $830 every month. They don't really give you a chance to mow your own lawn they just do it once you grass gets about 1-2 inches. If you have a problem with your mobile home and you let them know they either just don't do it or they wait until last minute. We have had to call about 3-4 times for an electricity problem in our trailer before they actually came to do it. The mobile homes have multiple spots that need new trailer homes and they are empty and haven't gotten new mobile homes for those spots in about 2 years. The mobile homes are also usually very dirty on the outside when you move in and the floors inside are also sometimes not swept. The walls are mostly all made out of wallpaper and not actuall paint. The walls are also very fragile and if you barely even lean on them they feel like they are going to collapse. A problem that was wrong with our home was most of the trimmings on the walls were not there and there were nails sticking out of where they are supposed to be. Also another problem was that some of the carpet wasn't even done yet. We also had yellow ceilings and walls from people before us that lived there and either smoked or vaped inside and the maintenance people didn't thoroughly clean them, and the bathtub was also yellow with nasty bacteria in it. All of the ceilings in the mobile homes are also popcorn ceilings and it comes off very easily even if you barely touch it. Dust bunnies also build up on the popcorn ceiling very very bad and very quick.

Sep 15, 2022 · Viola VelezIf i could put 0 stars i would! We have lived here with old owners and management meadowview mobile home park and since april 2018 the new ones.. Meadowview estates with Nichole Koth manager. I highly recommend no one to live in this park!! Especially if you have a family! We moved in in july 2017 after 3 weeks our trailer caught fire due to the neighbors negligence. I was high risk pregnant with our fourth child. The skirting didnt get fixed til november 2017 in which is state law to have and the siding just got fixed october 10th 2018.. In which our lease stated it was to be fixed immediately... They expect you to not violate and follow there demands of the lease but they do not.. We have had 5 managers.. Suzanne obrien.. Tina campbell.. Lois haskins.. Samantha carapia who is on top ten most wanted for theft of this park of peoples rent.. And now nichole koth whom never answers the phone and is always out of office.. The only good thing this park has is there maintenance men James and tim! When we moved in we had no fire extinguisher and one smoke detector.. James gave me the one out of his own place knowing we have 4 small children when he found out.. Months after i had asked management and stated on our checklist.. And they ran this park when we were without managers for months trying to keep people here takin care of. We have never received violations and never caused problems but the park just evicted us just because they said to the judge and didn't even follow state law protocol never gave us 10 or 30 day notice so we could of left before an eviction through court!! I cant explain the damage they have caused nor the headache for over a year we have went through!! Please from a concerned wife and mother of 4.. If you can go any where but here.... Go! If you need more details look me up and ill fill you in. This is not a place for anyone and the manager that runs it has no idea what she is doing thats why another manager from a different area has to help her and getting in contact with either one when you need to.. Is impossible! And the roads are still horrible. Been that way for years! Good luck to you and yours! Please consider our review! A lot of tenants are leaving because of similar problems! If i could save someone or a family from what we are going through right now with a 12 yr old 8 yr old 2 yr old and 1 yr old i will spread the word.
Oct 28, 2018 · Kristina SieversOffice lady is beyond rude. Treated my family horrible and acted like my wife was a second class citizen or some one unworthy of her time. The outside crew is very polite and friendly though.
Jul 09, 2021 · Justin dunawayHorrible place to live...... I dont recommend this place for anyone the roads are horrible. I cant even being to say how many office managers we had but I must say I really liked the last one we had. Roads flood i cant say how many times i had to drive threw flooded roads just so I can get to work so I'm taking a chance of messing up my car because people dont wanna get off there butt and do anything until its convenient for them must be nice.
