Mobile Manor Inc Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Fort Myers, Florida area and are open to considering mobile home parks for potential long-term or affordable living options, Mobile Manor Inc, located at 150 Lantern Ln, Fort Myers, FL 33917, USA, is a community that warrants attention. You can reach them by phone at (239) 543-1414 or via their mobile number at +1 239-543-1414. However, it is crucial to carefully consider recent feedback from residents, which presents a mixed picture of the community, highlighting both its affordability and some significant challenges.
One long-term resident, who has lived in Mobile Manor Inc since 2009, provides a historical perspective, noting a decline in the community over the years. While acknowledging it as a "decent place to live," this resident emphasizes the need for significant improvements in the association that manages the community. For those primarily seeking an affordable living situation, this reviewer suggests that Mobile Manor Inc might be suitable, stating, "If your looking for a cheap place to live this is for you." However, they temper this by adding, "but if your looking for the best your not going to find that here," indicating potential compromises in terms of overall quality or amenities.
On a positive note, this long-term resident describes the current residents as "very nice social people," suggesting a friendly and engaging social environment within the community. They also recall a time when Mobile Manor Inc was a more "happening place," implying a decline in community vibrancy over the years.
Another, more critical review compares the current management unfavorably to a previous group from approximately two years prior, stating, "The place was much nicer with the group rinning things 2 years ago. People running show now tend to be sneaky." Specific concerns are raised about the current management's practices, including allegedly holding "sneaky meetings which isnt supposed to happen" and engaging in "high school games of gossiping."
A particularly serious allegation involves discrimination against disabilities. The reviewer claims, " Discriminate against disabilities then play high school games of gossiping," which, if accurate, would be a significant concern for potential residents and reflects poorly on the community's management and social environment.
Security is another major issue raised in this review. The reviewer states, "Was promised 24 hour security, and we have been robbed several times." This breach of a promised security measure is a serious concern for the safety and well-being of residents and directly impacts their quality of life. The reviewer also expresses frustration regarding maintenance fees in light of these security failures, asking, "And they wonder why people dont want to pay maintenance fees. For what?" This suggests a potential disconnect between the fees paid by residents and the services or security they receive.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Mobile Manor Inc appears to be one of a community in decline, despite the friendliness of some residents. The affordability might be a draw for some, but the potential issues with management practices, lack of transparency, alleged discrimination, and security concerns paint a concerning picture.
Specific services and features are not detailed extensively in the reviews, but we can infer some common offerings of a mobile home park:
- Mobile Home Lots: Spaces for residents to place their mobile homes, likely with utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer).
- RV Sites (Implied): The park's categorization under "RV parks near me" suggests the presence of at least some RV sites, potentially for short-term or long-term stays.
- Community Management: An association or management team responsible for the upkeep of common areas, rule enforcement, and potentially organizing community activities (though the effectiveness of the current association is questioned).
- Basic Amenities (Likely): These might include laundry facilities, communal spaces (if any), and potentially recreational areas, though none are specifically mentioned.
- Security (Potentially Lacking): While 24-hour security was allegedly promised, the reviewer indicates a failure in this regard.
- Maintenance (Questionable Value): Residents are paying maintenance fees, but the perceived value is low due to issues like security breaches.
Promotional information is absent from the provided reviews. The affordability mentioned by one resident could be considered a potential selling point for some, but it is heavily caveated by concerns about the overall quality of the community and its management.
For local users in Fort Myers seeking "RV parks near me" and considering Mobile Manor Inc, it is crucial to weigh the potential affordability against the significant concerns raised by residents. The friendly nature of the current residents is a positive aspect, but the alleged issues with management transparency, discrimination, and security are serious red flags that should not be ignored.
Prospective residents should conduct thorough due diligence. Visiting the community, speaking with current residents directly (if possible), and inquiring specifically about the management structure, security measures, and the use of maintenance fees would be highly advisable. It would also be prudent to ask about any ongoing efforts to address the concerns raised in the online reviews.
The historical perspective of a declining community suggests that potential residents should be aware of the park's current trajectory and whether there are plans for improvement. The stark contrast between the affordability and the reported negative aspects indicates that Mobile Manor Inc might be suitable only for those for whom budget is the absolute primary concern and who are willing to potentially tolerate other significant issues.
In conclusion, Mobile Manor Inc in Fort Myers, Florida, appears to be an affordable mobile home park with friendly residents. However, recent feedback raises serious concerns regarding the management's transparency and practices, alleged discrimination, and a failure to provide promised security, leading to resident dissatisfaction with maintenance fees. While the affordability might be attractive to some, potential residents should carefully consider these significant drawbacks and conduct thorough personal investigation before making any decisions.

Mobile Manor Inc Reviews
I've lived here since 2009 and have watched the community go down hill. It's a decent place to live but needs help repairing the association that runs the community. If your looking for a cheap place to live this is for you, but if your looking for the best your not going to find that here. The residents that live here and very nice social people. It use to be a pretty happening place here but it's died down allot over the years.

Oct 23, 2021 · Vicki Lynn McPhee BellGreat place to live. We have had no problems with security. Management has done well considering dealing with COVID for past two years.
Sep 27, 2022 · Ethel CarterThe people/residence are so nice and watch over each other. They are a blessing to each other. But the roads really need some work.At the end of the day it is a nice place.
Dec 20, 2021 · Mark LelandMost of the residents are friendly. Even though it is a 55 and older park there are quite a few people younger than that living here.
