Mockingbird Hill RV Park Introduce
For local RV enthusiasts and travelers seeking "RV parks near me" in the Burleson, Texas area, Mockingbird Hill RV Park, located at 1990 S Burleson Blvd, Burleson, TX 76028, USA, offers a potentially suitable option for both short-term and potentially longer-term stays. To inquire about availability and specific details, you can contact the park directly at (817) 295-3011 or their mobile number +1 817-295-3011.
Based on the feedback from individuals who have stayed at Mockingbird Hill RV Park, the experience appears to be somewhat varied, with both unique positives and areas where the park might fall short for some visitors. One notable and positive aspect highlighted by a reviewer is the occurrence of "live music nights." These events are described as bringing a "lively atmosphere to the campfire gatherings," creating a memorable experience and setting Mockingbird Hill RV Park apart with this "unique touch." For those who appreciate local music and a social campfire setting, this could be a significant draw.
However, other reviews provide a more balanced perspective, indicating that while the park may be adequate for basic needs, it lacks some of the amenities found in more experience-oriented RV parks. One reviewer noted that there seem to be a limited number of spots available for nightly or weekly camping, suggesting that a significant portion of the park caters to permanent or monthly residents. The quality of the sites also appears to vary, with some described as "REALLY nice" featuring "nice grass and new full RV covered parking on nice new concrete slabs," while others seem to be in less ideal locations, potentially "paved into spots that should be eaves/dog walks."
A recurring theme in the feedback is the tightness of the spots, with one reviewer stating that "All of the spots are extremely tight, but they do have a bit of grass in between." This could be a crucial consideration for RVers with larger rigs or those who prefer more space and privacy between sites.
For travelers primarily seeking a functional place to park and sleep, Mockingbird Hill RV Park appears to meet basic requirements. It is described as "quiet" and "safe," with "good water pressure/taste" and "reasonable rates." These are essential factors for a comfortable and convenient overnight or short-term stay.
However, if you are looking for a more comprehensive RV park experience with various amenities and activities, Mockingbird Hill RV Park may not fully satisfy those needs. According to one reviewer, the park has "no dog park, no pool, no amenities beyond a bath house and a couple of laundry machines." Additionally, there is reportedly "no store or community events either" (aside from the live music nights mentioned by another reviewer, indicating that community events might be limited or infrequent). This suggests a more basic setup focused on providing essential services rather than a resort-style experience.
Internet connectivity is another area of concern based on the reviews. While "Internet is there," its quality is described as poor, with one reviewer stating it's "not even good enough to connect half the time, and when you do, you can't even resolve dns or load a web page." This unreliable internet service could be a significant drawback for travelers who need to stay connected for work or personal reasons.
Regarding the on-site staff, one reviewer described them as "Small on site staff" who are "Friendly once you get to know them, but can be a bit gruff at first." This suggests that while the staff may be helpful in the long run, initial interactions might not be the most welcoming. This is something to keep in mind for those who value immediate friendliness and assistance upon arrival.
Considering the information available, Mockingbird Hill RV Park offers a location in Burleson, TX, with the unique feature of occasional live music nights creating a social atmosphere. It appears to be a quiet and safe option with reasonable rates and good basic utilities. However, potential guests should be aware of the tight spacing between sites, the limited number of amenities (no dog park, pool, or store), and potentially unreliable internet service. The park seems to cater more towards those needing a functional place to stay rather than a destination with extensive recreational facilities.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Mockingbird Hill RV Park could be a viable option depending on their priorities. If a quiet, safe place with basic amenities and the occasional bonus of live music is appealing, it might be worth considering. However, if amenities like a dog park, pool, strong internet, and more spacious sites are important, other RV parks in the area might be a better fit.
Prospective guests should contact Mockingbird Hill RV Park directly to inquire about current rates, site availability, the frequency of live music events, and the current status of the internet service. Asking about specific site sizes and layouts might also be beneficial to ensure a comfortable fit for your RV. Visiting the park in person, if feasible, could provide a firsthand look at the site conditions and the overall environment.
In conclusion, Mockingbird Hill RV Park offers a no-frills option for RVers in the Burleson, TX area, with the added bonus of live music events. While it provides the essentials of a quiet and safe place to park with good utilities, it lacks the broader range of amenities found in some other RV parks. Local users should weigh these factors against their individual needs and preferences when considering Mockingbird Hill RV Park for their next stay.

Mockingbird Hill RV Park Reviews
My stay at Mockingbird Hill RV Park was made even more memorable by the live music nights they host. The local musicians brought a lively atmosphere to the campfire gatherings, and I found myself tapping my feet to the tunes. It's a unique touch that sets this park apart from the rest.
Mar 24, 2025 · Monica CortesNothing exceptionally good, nothing exceptionally bad. It seems like the park has about 5 spots for nightly/weekly camping (at least for our size), and the rest appear to be permanent or monthly residents. Some of the spots are REALLY nice with nice grass and new full RV covered parking on nice new concrete slabs. Other sites seem like they were paved into spots that should be eaves/dog walks. All of the spots are extremely tight, but they do have a bit of grass in between. If you're just looking for a place to park and sleep, this is totally fine. Quiet, safe, good water pressure/taste, and reasonable rates. If you're looking for any sort of experience, I would steer clear. No dog park, no pool, no amenities beyond a bath house and a couple of laundry machines. Oh and no store or community events either. Internet is there, but might as well not be, it's not even good enough to connect half the time, and when you do, you can't even resolve dns or load a web page. Not sure why they are paying for it, or if it's just shared off the office and crippling all the customers.Small on site staff. Friendly once you get to know them, but can be a bit gruff at first. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.
Feb 23, 2024 · Jeff TillettNice overnight park. It’s quiet, paved streets, full timers have an awning over their RV. If you have a big dog there is no place to let them off leash or to do their business. I walked mine out by the service road to do his business. Granted my choice, but all the grass I felt like was someone’s yard. Also, a lot of outside cats!! I gave it 3 stars for these reasons.
Mar 24, 2025 · Audrey BranumI had a fantastic time at Mockingbird Hill RV Park's wellness retreat. The mindfulness meditation sessions and holistic workshops provided a much-needed escape from the daily grind. It's a camping destination that nurtures both mental and physical well-being.
Mar 24, 2025 · Clara NicholasMy stay at Mockingbird Hill RV Park's wildlife education camp was both educational and thrilling. The guided wildlife tracking walks and animal behavior workshops gave me a deeper understanding of the local fauna. It's a perfect destination for nature enthusiasts and animal lovers.
