Montgomery Quarters LLC Introduce
For local users in Starkville, Mississippi, who might be searching under the category of "RV parks near me" for housing solutions, it's crucial to thoroughly research all available options, including mobile home parks, as they sometimes cater to long-term residents and may not offer traditional RV amenities for short-term stays. Montgomery Quarters LLC, located on S Montgomery St, Starkville, MS 39759, USA, with phone numbers (662) 323-8769 and +1 662-323-8769, has received some concerning feedback from its residents that potential future residents should carefully consider.
Based on the available reviews, Montgomery Quarters LLC appears to be a residential mobile home park that has faced significant challenges related to its environment and management. One particularly detailed review paints a concerning picture of recurring flooding issues within the park. The resident recounts purchasing a double-wide mobile home in 2013 and renting a corner lot, with an initial disclosure that the corner stayed a bit wetter but no indication of flooding.
However, approximately six months after setting up their home, the resident reported waking up to a flooded yard, making their vehicles inaccessible without wading through water. The flooding was described as a health hazard due to sewage running through the water and trash floating around. Additionally, the main electrical box connecting to their home was submerged, leading to drainage problems within the house. This paints a troubling picture of the environmental conditions at least in certain areas of the park.
The situation reportedly worsened about five months prior to the review, when the resident's vehicles, along with a friend's vehicle, were halfway underwater due to more severe flooding, resulting in the loss of all three vehicles. The response from one of the property owners was to offer a mere $200.00 for the extensive troubles and losses experienced. The resident viewed this as inadequate and a "slap in the face," highlighting a significant disconnect between the management's response and the severity of the residents' issues.
Beyond the immediate property damage, the flooding also reportedly led to the loss of personal memories stored in a shed and caused ongoing stress every time it rained, due to the fear of further flooding. This underscores the significant impact of the environmental issues on the residents' quality of life.
The review further details an attempt by the residents to sell their home and relocate, offering the property owners the first option to buy it as a courtesy before pursuing legal action. The response from one of the owners was described as dismissive, stating it was their option and that he would need to consult with other investors, after which the residents allegedly never heard back, despite the owner being a regular presence in the park collecting rent. This interaction suggests a lack of responsiveness and concern for the residents' plight.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, the reviewing resident stated that they are being transparent with potential buyers about the flooding issues, unlike their experience when they rented the lot. They explicitly advise staying away from Montgomery Quarters, indicating a severe lack of trust and satisfaction with the living conditions and management.
Another, more concise review raises even more serious concerns, labeling the park as a "terrible trailer park, very noisy and too much violence." This review also chillingly mentions that "a lady was found dead in a trailer just this year." While this is a single, unverified statement, it points to potential safety and security issues within the park that warrant serious consideration.
Given this overwhelmingly negative feedback concerning significant environmental issues like recurring sewage-contaminated flooding, property damage, perceived lack of adequate management response, noise, alleged violence, and a reported death within the park, local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering long-term residency at Montgomery Quarters LLC should exercise extreme caution. The information available online strongly suggests that this location may not provide a safe, stable, or healthy living environment.
For local users specifically seeking traditional RV park amenities for recreational vehicles, Montgomery Quarters LLC, based on these reviews, does not appear to be a suitable option. The focus seems to be on long-term mobile home residency, and the reported conditions are far from the standards typically expected in a reputable RV park catering to temporary stays.
Due to the severity of the allegations in the reviews, it would be prudent for anyone considering this location to independently verify the current conditions and management practices. This might involve contacting local authorities, community organizations, or attempting to speak with current residents (if possible and safe to do so) to gain a more comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the situation at Montgomery Quarters LLC.
In conclusion, the online reviews for Montgomery Quarters LLC paint a deeply concerning picture of a residential mobile home park in Starkville, MS, plagued by severe flooding issues, alleged management negligence, noise, and reported safety concerns. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" are strongly advised to look elsewhere for their accommodation needs. Those considering long-term residency at Montgomery Quarters LLC should proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough independent investigations before making any decisions. The information available suggests a living environment with significant challenges and potential risks to health, safety, and property.

Montgomery Quarters LLC Reviews
I would give ZERO stars if I could!! Bought a double wide in 2013, my grandson had passed away 5 months prior, we were trying to start fresh. We rented a corner lot, was told that it stayed a little more wet in this corner, not that it floods!!! About 6 months after our trailer was set up on the lot we woke up to our yard flooded. Could not get to our vehicles without wearing shorts and sandals, the flooding is a health issue because sewage runs through the water, trash is floating all over the place, main electrical box that connects to our home is under water, have problems with drainage issues in house. About 5 months ago we woke up to my daughters vehicle, my vehicle and a friends vehicle half way under water, it had flooded worse than it ever had. Lost the 3 vehicles due to flooding. One of the property owners brings $200.00 for our troubles. We held on to the $200.00 for several months, it was like a slap in the face, we have done nothing but lose, lost memories that was in our shed that got flooded when water got in the shed, stress every time it rains. Talked to one of the property owners a few weeks ago about buying to home so we could get out of here, he may as well have laughed in our faces!! Told him that we were giving him the option to buy it, we were being nice about it, before we take it to court, he says that's our option, said he had to speak with the other investors regarding buying it, never heard a word out of him, he drives through here almost daily collecting rent and just drives on by our house. We are trying to sell it bit unlike them when they rented us the lot, we are making potential buyers aware of the flooding issue if the decide not to move the home. This place has gone downhill in every aspect. They don't care about the residents, only the rent. I don't understand why you would rent a lot that floods. They tried to say they did tell us, no they sure didn't!!! Why would anyone move a double wide home on a lot if they were told it flooded??? We would have made other arrangements for the home then put it here!! We cannot seem to get any help on what's going on. We have not missed paying our lot rent since we have been here, don't complain about nothing but the flooding. If you can stay away from Montgomery Quarters you need to!! I would not recommend living here to my worst enemy!!
