Motel 92 Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Plant City, Florida area, the property located at 5805 US-92, Plant City, FL 33566, USA, known as Motel 92, appears in online listings. However, it is crucial to note that recent customer reviews indicate that this establishment may not function as a traditional RV park and presents significant concerns regarding its condition, pricing, and service. Therefore, individuals specifically seeking RV accommodations should be aware of this information before considering Motel 92 as an option.
The environment at Motel 92, based on the available reviews, is described as "rundown." One reviewer explicitly states that the location has "no RV sites available," which is a critical piece of information for those searching within the "RV parks near me" category. This suggests that the primary function of this business may be that of a motel rather than an RV park, despite potentially appearing in relevant online searches. The physical appearance of the property seems to be a concern, with one reviewer suggesting the need for significant renovation or even demolition and rebuilding to attract business. The mention of "dead toys in the office yard" raises questions about the general upkeep and aesthetic of the premises, potentially contributing to a negative first impression.
In terms of services and features, the reviews are notably negative. One customer explicitly states that there are "no amenities" available at Motel 92. This is a significant drawback for RV travelers who typically rely on amenities such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, as well as potentially restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and recreational areas. The lack of these essential services further reinforces the idea that Motel 92 may not be equipped or intended for RV stays. Additionally, one reviewer mentions that the establishment attempted to charge "nearly double what other parks charge," indicating a significant discrepancy between the perceived value and the asking price, especially considering the reported lack of amenities and rundown condition.
The features of an RV park are typically what attract travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay. These can include spacious sites, full hookups, clean facilities, recreational areas like pools or playgrounds, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, the reviews for Motel 92 suggest a complete absence of these desirable features. The lack of RV sites inherently means a lack of RV-specific infrastructure. The absence of amenities further detracts from any potential appeal for RV travelers. The rundown condition of the property, as mentioned by multiple reviewers, implies a lack of investment in maintaining a comfortable and appealing environment for guests, regardless of whether they are in RVs or staying in motel rooms.
Regarding promotional information, the customer reviews act as a strong cautionary message rather than a promotion for Motel 92. The only potentially positive aspect mentioned is that "the owner came out to greet us." However, this is immediately followed by a cynical observation that this gesture was "probably to save a liability claim if we tripped on the dead toys in the office yard," effectively negating any positive impression. The second review details a deeply negative experience as a motel guest, which, while not directly related to RV stays, provides further insight into the management and overall standards of the establishment. This review mentions "nasty" conditions with unchanged pillows and stained sheets, leading to an immediate check-out. Despite not staying the full night, the guests were allegedly charged for it. Other issues included a malfunctioning TV upon arrival and a concerning encounter with a front desk staff member wielding a bat in what was perceived as an intimidating manner during a dispute over a partial refund. This paints a picture of poor customer service, cleanliness issues, and potentially aggressive behavior from staff.
Given the information from these reviews, it is crucial for local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Plant City, FL, to understand that Motel 92 appears to be primarily a motel with significant issues and is reportedly not equipped for RVs. The negative feedback regarding its rundown condition, lack of amenities, high pricing, cleanliness problems, and potentially aggressive staff should serve as a strong warning. The absence of any positive comments regarding RV facilities or services further reinforces the notion that this is not a suitable option for RV travelers.
While the initial search for "RV parks near me" might include listings for various types of accommodations, including motels, it is essential to carefully evaluate the specific offerings and reviews for each. In the case of Motel 92, the overwhelming negative feedback and the explicit statement that no RV sites are available should immediately disqualify it for those seeking RV-specific accommodations. The issues raised by motel guests regarding cleanliness and staff behavior also suggest a broader problem with the management and upkeep of the property, which could indirectly impact any potential RV visitors even if sites were available.
Therefore, local users looking for "RV parks near me" in Plant City, FL, are strongly advised to seek alternative locations that are specifically designed and equipped to accommodate RVs and have positive reviews regarding their facilities, services, and overall guest experience. The information available for Motel 92 indicates that it is not an RV park and suffers from significant issues that would likely result in a negative experience for any traveler, whether in an RV or seeking motel lodging. It is recommended to contact other establishments in the area that are explicitly advertised as RV parks and have a more favorable reputation among previous visitors.
In conclusion, based on the available online reviews, Motel 92 in Plant City, FL, is reportedly not an RV park and suffers from significant negative issues including a rundown condition, lack of amenities, overpriced rates, cleanliness problems, and concerning staff behavior. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" should be aware that this establishment does not appear to cater to RVs and has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from its guests. It is strongly recommended to explore other options in the Plant City area that are specifically designed for RVs and have a more positive reputation to ensure a satisfactory travel experience.

Motel 92 Reviews
This place has no RV sites available, it is rundown, they tried to charge nearly double what others parks charge and their are no amenities. If they really want a business, they might consider finding small business funds, bulldozing what is in desperate need of repair because in the end new buildings attract, you pay off the loans and you have a welcoming place. The only plus, the owner came out to greet us. Probably to save a liability claim if we tripped on the dead toys in the office yard.
May 13, 2019 · David DunbarPlease b careful with this plase is nasty the pillow never changed and the sheets with stains we decide to check out at the same time . they charge us the full night that we don't stay.also at the beginning the TV didn't work but they fix .at the end I forgot my phone the manager came to open the door and also find it but when we came out the lady from the front desk came out with a bat like a form of intimidating.she was very very aggressive from the very beginning at the end we only got a partial refund for something that we never use.
