Myrtle Creek MHC Introduce
Are you looking for "RV parks near me" that offer a long-term residential option in Jacksonville, Texas? While the platform category might suggest temporary stays, it's worth noting that some mobile home communities can also be considered for those seeking a more permanent living arrangement. Myrtle Creek MHC, located at 1313 Myrtle Dr in Jacksonville, TX, presents itself as a mobile home park offering a potentially quiet living environment for its residents.
According to one resident's review, Myrtle Creek MHC is generally a "pretty quiet place," a significant factor for those seeking a peaceful residential setting. This long-term resident has been living in the community for two years, suggesting a degree of stability and a potentially consistent atmosphere. This aspect could be appealing to individuals or families looking for a calm and relatively stable environment within the Jacksonville area.
However, the same review also points out some significant drawbacks regarding the park's upkeep. The resident notes that the property is "not kept up very well most of the time." This lack of consistent maintenance could be a concern for prospective residents who value a well-maintained living environment. Furthermore, the review highlights an issue with trash from other residents' trash cans blowing into their yard, creating an unpleasant situation. The proximity to a train line and the associated noise is also mentioned as a factor to consider for those sensitive to such sounds.
Another review paints a more critical picture of Myrtle Creek MHC. This reviewer explicitly states that the park is "not kid friendly" and accuses the owner of dishonesty ("lies about every thing they tells u"). Such allegations regarding transparency and the overall environment for families with children are serious points that potential residents should carefully consider. The reviewer also expresses strong dissatisfaction with the pricing of the homes, describing them as "outrageous." This suggests that the cost of living within the community, beyond lot rent, may be a significant factor for prospective buyers.
Adding to the concerns, the second review criticizes the maintenance service, stating that the "maint man suck he don't fix anything." Poor maintenance can lead to unresolved issues within individual homes and throughout the community, impacting the quality of life for residents. The overall upkeep of the park is also described as "horrible," echoing the sentiment of the first review regarding the lack of adequate maintenance. The reviewer further claims that the owner is unresponsive to these problems ("won't do nothing to fix the problems") while still expecting timely payment of lot rent.
Considering these reviews, Myrtle Creek MHC presents a mixed picture for potential residents seeking a long-term living situation in Jacksonville, TX. While the park may offer a relatively quiet environment, as noted by one resident, there are significant concerns raised regarding the upkeep of the property, the responsiveness of management to maintenance issues, and the overall living experience. The negative review specifically highlights potential issues with transparency, pricing of homes, the suitability for children, and the quality of maintenance services.
For individuals exploring "RV parks near me" as a potential gateway to finding a longer-term residence, Myrtle Creek MHC might appear as an option due to its nature as a mobile home community. However, it is crucial to weigh the potential benefit of a quiet environment against the reported shortcomings in maintenance and management. The starkly contrasting experiences shared in the reviews suggest a need for thorough investigation and potentially direct engagement with the park management and current residents to gain a more comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the living conditions and overall community environment at Myrtle Creek MHC. Prospective residents should carefully consider their priorities regarding park upkeep, management responsiveness, and the presence of children in the community before making a decision.
