North View Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in the Weaverville or greater Asheville, North Carolina area, North View Park, located at Northview Park Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787, USA, is one option to consider. You can contact them at (828) 658-0998 or +1 828-658-0998 for inquiries. However, it is crucial to be aware of the information available in online customer reviews to form a comprehensive understanding of the park.
Weaverville is a charming town located just north of Asheville, offering a more laid-back atmosphere while still providing access to the amenities and attractions of the larger city. North View Park's location in Weaverville might appeal to those seeking a quieter setting within reasonable driving distance of Asheville's cultural and commercial hubs. The surrounding area is characterized by the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, offering opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Environment and Location Considerations: Weaverville provides a more rural feel compared to Asheville, which could be attractive to those seeking a peaceful living environment. North View Park's specific location on Northview Park Rd suggests it is situated within this Weaverville setting. However, one significant environmental factor mentioned in a customer review pertains to the park's infrastructure, specifically the driveway leading into the park. The review describes extremely large and deep potholes, some spanning the entire road, posing a potential hazard to vehicles entering and exiting the property. This is a critical environmental consideration for anyone planning to visit or reside at North View Park, as it directly impacts accessibility and vehicle maintenance.
Another environmental aspect, though perhaps more related to park maintenance, is the mention of trash accumulation. A review from June 2021, referencing updates from 2016 and 2018, indicates past issues with insufficient dumpsters leading to trash piling up. While a trash compactor was reportedly added in 2016, the 2018 update suggests the issue might not have been fully resolved at that time. The lack of adequate waste management can significantly impact the living environment and overall cleanliness of the park.
Services and Potential Amenities (with Caveats): Based on the general nature of mobile home parks and RV communities, North View Park likely offers essential utility hookups. However, customer reviews raise concerns about the reliability and quality of some of these services:
- Water Service: A concerning comment in a review from December 2018 mentions "water still bron," suggesting potential issues with water quality. Additionally, another incident described a water main leak repair that resulted in a prolonged water shut-off (over four hours) without prior notification to residents. These points indicate potential problems with the water service's reliability and quality.
- Waste Disposal: As mentioned earlier, reviews point to past and potentially ongoing issues with the number of dumpsters and trash accumulation, which could impact the convenience and hygiene of waste disposal services.
- Road Maintenance: The most prominent service issue highlighted in the reviews is the poor condition of the driveway with significant potholes. This lack of maintenance directly affects residents' ability to access the park safely and can lead to vehicle damage.
While other standard services like electricity and sewer hookups are typically provided in mobile home parks, the reviews do not offer specific insights into their reliability at North View Park. Similarly, information about additional amenities that might be offered, such as laundry facilities, community areas, or on-site management presence, is not available in the provided reviews. The comment about "never anyone in office when you need them" suggests potential limitations in accessing on-site management support.
For RV users considering North View Park as one of the "RV Parks Near Me," the condition of the driveways and parking areas is a significant concern. The reviews indicate that these are "horrible on your tires," suggesting potential damage to RVs as well. Information about the types of RV sites available (pull-through or back-in), their size, and specific amenities for RVers is not provided in the reviews.
Features and Potential Drawbacks Based on Reviews: While the Weaverville location might be considered a feature by some, the customer reviews predominantly highlight negative aspects that potential residents should be aware of:
- Poor Infrastructure: The severely potholed driveway is a major drawback, affecting accessibility and potentially causing vehicle damage.
- Questionable Water Quality and Reliability: The mention of "bron" water and unannounced long water shut-offs are significant concerns regarding a basic utility.
- Inadequate Waste Management: Past and potentially ongoing issues with trash accumulation can negatively impact the living environment.
- Lack of On-Site Management Presence: Difficulty in contacting the office when needed can be frustrating for residents requiring assistance.
- Unfriendly Interactions: A review mentions that "Natives aren't nice," which, while subjective and potentially isolated, is a point of feedback from a former resident.
- Loose Animals: The repeated mention of "dogs run around like chickens" and "DOGS STILL RUN AROUND NO LEASH" indicates a potential issue with pet control within the park, which could be a concern for safety and peace of mind.
- Potential for Retaliation: The serious accusation that "if you report anything your car gets keyed up" suggests a potentially hostile environment for residents who raise concerns.
The fact that a former resident who lived in the park for over four years explicitly issued a "warning" and described the information as a "community services/public service announcement" underscores the severity of the issues they perceived.
Promotional Information: Based on the overwhelmingly negative feedback in the provided reviews, it is unlikely that North View Park is currently running any positive promotions that would be reflected in online comments. The focus of the existing reviews is on significant maintenance and community issues rather than any positive aspects or incentives. Anyone considering this park should be highly cautious and conduct thorough due diligence, including a personal visit and direct questioning of the management regarding the issues raised in the reviews.
Given the serious nature of the complaints in the reviews, including concerns about infrastructure, utilities, safety, and community relations, potential residents should approach North View Park with extreme caution. Verifying the current conditions and management's response to these long-standing issues is strongly recommended before making any decisions about residing in this community.
Conclusion: North View Park in Weaverville, NC, is located in a potentially appealing area near Asheville. However, the available customer reviews paint a concerning picture of the park's environment, services, and community. Significant issues have been raised regarding the poor condition of the driveway, potential problems with water quality and reliability, inadequate waste management, limited on-site management presence, and concerns about loose animals and even potential retaliation for reporting issues. While the location itself might be attractive, prospective residents seeking "RV Parks Near Me" or mobile home living in the Weaverville area should carefully consider the serious concerns highlighted in the reviews and conduct thorough personal investigation before considering North View Park.

North View Park Reviews
This is just to warn anyone that needs to go in here. The driveway going to the park some of the potholes is so big you would think that they were sinkholes. Some are so big you can't go around them at all. They go all the way across the road and are deep, take your time, and drop off into them slow.
Dec 07, 2023 · Teresa RobertsUPDATED [12/2018...DOGS STILL RUN AROUND NO LEASH/NATIVES ARENT NICE/OWNER STILL SAME/WATER STILL BRON/TRASH STILL PILE UP]They let dogs run around like chickens..the parking lot/driveways are horrible on your tires. And if you report anything your car gets keyed up. And the Natives are not very friendly . And there is never anyone in office when you need them. And when they have to repair stuff, example the water main leak street..they cut off my water for over 4 hours with no prior notification . And they hardly keep up the grounds😣 And they only have 2/3 dumpsters for entire trailer park. Updated(8/2016.. They have added more dumpsters,correction/a trash compactor),& they did some repairs to driveways🤔🤔😁. .....dog still run around like chickens...smh😕😕🤔😥( FYI: I lived in this mobile home park for 4+.. and no one gets paid for reviews ) community services/public service announcement. 6/2021( Update: September 2021 ) nothing much has changed*
