Northwoods Village Mature RV Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or considering a mature RV or mobile home community in Colorado Springs, Northwoods Village Mature RV, located at 3100 Wood Ave m1, Colorado Springs, CO 80907, USA, offers a potentially quiet living environment. You can contact them at (719) 633-7564 or +1 719-633-7564 for inquiries.
Based on the limited customer reviews available, Northwoods Village Mature RV presents a somewhat contrasting picture. One long-term resident of nine years describes it as a "very quiet place to live," drawing a comparison to "like a campground without having fires." This suggests a peaceful and potentially nature-oriented environment that might appeal to those seeking tranquility and a less bustling atmosphere. The "mature RV" designation in the park's name also implies that it may cater to an older demographic seeking a more relaxed and serene setting.
However, the other review from the same long-term resident raises significant safety concerns regarding a specific structure within the park. This resident, who identifies themselves as a "top tenant" with a long history of responsible tenancy, advises all patrons to be aware of a purportedly unsafe gazebo structure located in Lot M-10. According to this review, the structure lacks a foundation, was built with substandard lumber, and was erected without a building permit. These allegations, if accurate, present serious safety risks.
The reviewer explicitly warns that the possible collapse of this unpermitted building poses a "threat to life" and recommends that the entirety of Lot M-10 be cordoned off until the structure is removed. Furthermore, they state that the structure is "NOT a parking structure" and creates additional safety issues for neighboring mobile homes. This detailed account of potential structural deficiencies and the lack of necessary permits paints a concerning picture regarding safety oversight within the park.
The resident also names the park owners – Burton A. Kalniz, Charles H. Sallah, and Gregory A. Maceau – and their management team, stating that they "have no regard for your safety" and that they have been formally notified about the unsafe structure and the need for its removal. The fact that a long-term, seemingly responsible resident feels compelled to issue such a strong public warning suggests that their concerns may be significant and potentially unresolved by the park's management.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," the name "Northwoods Village Mature RV" clearly indicates that this community caters to recreational vehicles, specifically targeting a mature demographic. The mention of a "gazebo structure" in one of the lots suggests that some residents may have more permanent or semi-permanent setups, which is not uncommon in RV parks that also accommodate longer-term stays. The comparison to a "campground without having fires" further reinforces its identity as an RV-oriented community, emphasizing the outdoor and potentially more relaxed lifestyle associated with RV living.
However, the serious safety allegations raised by the long-term resident regarding the unpermitted and structurally unsound gazebo are critical for any prospective resident, whether for RV or mobile home living, to consider. It is essential to inquire with the park management about the status of this structure, whether it has been inspected by relevant authorities, and what steps are being taken to ensure the safety of all residents. The presence of an unpermitted and potentially hazardous structure could indicate broader issues with safety regulations and oversight within the park.
In summary, Northwoods Village Mature RV in Colorado Springs offers a potentially quiet and campground-like atmosphere, appealing to a mature demographic seeking a peaceful living environment for their recreational vehicles or mobile homes. However, a significant safety concern has been raised by a long-term resident regarding an allegedly unpermitted and structurally unsound gazebo on one of the lots. This allegation includes warnings of potential collapse and a lack of regard for resident safety by the park owners and management, according to the reviewer.
Prospective residents should carefully consider this information and conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions. It is strongly recommended to contact the park management at (719) 633-7564 or +1 719-633-7564 to inquire specifically about the safety concerns raised in the review, the status of the gazebo structure, and the park's overall safety protocols and building permit compliance. Visiting the park in person to assess the environment and the condition of the facilities would also be a crucial step in evaluating whether Northwoods Village Mature RV meets their safety and living standards. The contrasting feedback of a quiet environment versus serious safety allegations necessitates a cautious and informed approach for any potential resident.

Northwoods Village Mature RV Reviews
I have owned a mobile home in this park for the past 9 years. Been a top tenant, never been late on rent, never filed a complaint and never had a complaint filed against me. To all patrons in this park, Be advised the park owners, Burton A. Kalniz, Charles H. Sallah and Gregory A. Maceau and there management team have no regard for your safety. They have been put on notice for the removal of the unsafe gazebo structure in Lot M-10. This structure has no foundation and was built with substandard lumber and NO BUILDING PERMIT. Be advised that the possible collapse of this building is a threat to life and the entire Lot M-10 should be cordoned off until the removal of this structure. This is also NOT a parking structure and creates other safety issues to the neighboring Mobile Homes.

Mar 31, 2025 · Chris TurturilloLived there for nearly two years with my family. Had 0 problems with the manager until the park failed to properly insulate our water and decided to blame us when it froze then burst. This was not the only water to freeze in the park by the way. Their were in fact 3 other frozen lines. The manager approached me by showing up at my RV past hours and accuse and verbally assault me in front of my 2 year old and wife. Then he assaulted my 56 year old disabled neighbor. The video of the event makes it clear that a certain comment is 100% Grade A BS. Talk to the older residents and you'll hear things I didn't believe. Nobody was actually evicted as well. Just a BS stack of paperwork that wasn't signed by the court or the processor. The people who left did so to flee from the tyranny of some twisted individuals. Move here at your own risk. It's a dirty rundown place that may have been nice 15-20 years ago.
Feb 26, 2017 · Daniel Anthony (Snowcrash)I have visited Northwoods many times over the years. I must say, current management is doing everything possible to clean up and get rid of the trashy people. The park is running better now than in years. It's obvious the negative reviews are from disgruntled trash who aren't welcome there anymore. Who attacks children in online reviews? That in itself shows the kind of people residing there.
Feb 17, 2018 · Brenda RuddWell, Heather! Just so happens you are living & sleeping with the so called manager Brian!!!! Of course you are going to give the park5stars! You have to! Doesn't matter that you helped him&"crew"steal from a disabled women! Can only assume her money went to the2 of you to pay for your drug habits! I& others can only feel sorry for you!
