The limited number of recent customer reviews for Odessa 40 Hwy Mobile Home Park provides a mixed perspective on the living experience. One review offers positive feedback regarding the quality of the mobile homes and the affordability of the rent, but raises a significant concern about the overwhelming population of cats within the park.
According to this reviewer, the mobile homes themselves are "really nice and clean," suggesting that the park offers well-maintained living units. Furthermore, the rent is described as "very reasonable," indicating that Odessa 40 Hwy Mobile Home Park may be an attractive option for those seeking budget-friendly housing in the Odessa area. This positive feedback on the physical condition of the trailers and the cost of living is a notable advantage of this community.
However, the same reviewer expresses a major concern regarding the "beyond overwhelming" cat population within the park. As a self-proclaimed "huge cat lover," the reviewer finds it distressing to witness the large number of "sick and dying cats and kittens" present. This suggests a potential issue with animal control and the overall health and well-being of the stray or feral cat population within the community. Additionally, the reviewer mentions the problem of male cats urinating on porches, creating an unpleasant and unsanitary environment. Due to this significant issue with the cats, the reviewer personally states they "couldn't live there," despite acknowledging the positive aspects of the trailers and the rent.
The second, very brief review simply provides contact information for someone named "carrell bertrum" for "trailer info." The context suggests that Carrell Bertram may be involved in the sale or rental of mobile homes within the park. This could be a potential point of contact for individuals interested in learning more about available units.
Based on the available information, the environment, services, and features of Odessa 40 Hwy Mobile Home Park can be summarized as follows:
- Clean and Nice Trailers: The mobile homes within the park are reported to be in good condition and clean.
- Reasonable Rent: The cost of living, specifically the rent, is considered affordable.
- Overwhelming Cat Population: A significant concern is the large number of cats, including sick and dying ones, present throughout the park, leading to unsanitary conditions such as male cats urinating on porches.
- Potential Contact for Trailer Information: Carrell Bertram is mentioned as a contact for those seeking information about available trailers.
Promotional information is somewhat limited. The positive remarks about the "super nice and clean" trailers and the "very reasonable" rent can be considered promotional aspects, highlighting the value and quality of the housing offered. The mention of a contact person for trailer information also serves as a point of contact for potential residents.
However, the significant issue raised about the overwhelming cat population and the associated health and sanitation concerns acts as a major deterrent and overshadows the positive aspects of the park. This is a critical piece of information that prospective residents must consider carefully.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Odessa, MO, and considering Odessa 40 Hwy Mobile Home Park for long-term residential living, it is essential to weigh the positive aspects of clean and affordable trailers against the significant negative feedback regarding the cat population. While the price point and the quality of the individual mobile homes may be attractive, the environmental issue with the cats could severely impact the quality of life for residents.
Prospective residents are strongly encouraged to contact the park management at (816) 230-3130 or +1 816-230-3130 to inquire about the cat situation and whether any measures are being taken to address it. It would be important to understand the park's policies regarding pets and animal control. Additionally, contacting Carrell Bertram for "trailer info" might provide insights into the availability and specific features of the mobile homes for rent or sale.
Visiting Odessa 40 Hwy Mobile Home Park in person would be highly advisable to assess the extent of the cat population issue and the overall environment of the community. Interacting with current residents, if possible, could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day living experience and how the cat situation is being managed (or not managed).
In conclusion, Odessa 40 Hwy Mobile Home Park in Odessa, MO, offers the advantages of nice and clean trailers and reasonable rent. However, a significant drawback is the reported overwhelming population of cats, leading to concerns about the health of the animals and the sanitation of the park. Local users exploring "RV parks near me" for long-term living should carefully consider this serious issue and conduct thorough due diligence before making a decision. Contacting the management and visiting the park are crucial steps in assessing whether the positive aspects outweigh the negative concerns for individual needs and preferences.

Odessa 40 Hwy Mobile Home Park Reviews
My son lives there. It's a really nice mobile home, but the cat population is beyond overwhelming. I am a huge cat lover, and it's so sad to see all the sick and dying cats and kittens out there.. plus, the male cats piss on the porch it's just way too much.. I personally couldn't live there bc of the cats.. But the trailers are super nice and clean, the rent is very reasonable..
