Located conveniently between the charming towns of Reedsport and Winchester Bay, this RV resort offers a picturesque setting, a range of appealing features, and, according to some visitors, a delightful experience. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the resort based on the available online information, encompassing its environment, services, and customer feedback.
The location of Oregon Coast RV Resort, nestled between Reedsport and Winchester Bay, positions it perfectly for exploring the diverse attractions of the southern Oregon Coast. Reedsport is known for its proximity to the Umpqua River and the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, offering opportunities for fishing, hiking, and off-road adventures. Winchester Bay is a popular destination for dune buggy riding, crabbing, and access to the Pacific Ocean. The resort's location thus provides a gateway to a wide array of outdoor activities and scenic beauty.
Contacting the Oregon Coast RV Resort is easily done via phone at (541) 271-4020 or their mobile number, +1 541-271-4020. Potential guests are encouraged to reach out to inquire about site availability, specific amenities, and any current policies or promotions.
One of the most striking aspects of the Oregon Coast RV Resort, as highlighted by a positive customer review, is its natural beauty. The resort is described as "absolutely beautiful," featuring a "little creek that runs through it." This natural water feature likely adds to the serene and tranquil atmosphere of the park, providing a soothing backdrop for relaxation. Furthermore, the reviewer notes that the RV sites offer a degree of "privacy" due to being surrounded by hedges. This is a significant advantage for those who appreciate personal space and a sense of seclusion while enjoying the RV park experience.
The environment of the resort is further enhanced by the presence of "an array of beautiful birds," suggesting a healthy and thriving local ecosystem that nature lovers will appreciate. The combination of the creek, the surrounding greenery (implied by the hedges), and the diverse birdlife creates a potentially idyllic setting for a peaceful getaway.
Adding to the positive aspects of the resort is the praise for the staff, who are described as "kind, full of smiles, and ready to help." Friendly and helpful staff can significantly impact a guest's experience, contributing to a welcoming and stress-free stay. The positive reviewer also mentioned the "knowledgeable and welcoming staff," further reinforcing the impression of a well-managed and guest-oriented resort.
Beyond the natural beauty and the friendly staff, the positive review also highlights the "pristine and charming landscaping" of the resort. Well-maintained grounds contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal and create a pleasant environment for guests to enjoy. The reviewer also reiterates the "private and convenient" location, underscoring the balance between a secluded feel and easy access to the surrounding area's attractions.
The positive feedback concludes with a strong recommendation, stating, "I would absolutely return. The feeling of the trees and friendly atmosphere is highly recommended." This suggests that the overall ambiance and the combination of natural elements and human hospitality create a memorable and desirable experience for visitors.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective by also considering all available feedback. One review offers a starkly contrasting viewpoint, specifically concerning employment at the resort. While this review does not directly comment on the guest experience of RVers staying at the park, it raises serious concerns about the management's practices regarding employees. The reviewer recounts a negative experience where promises of "great pay," a pay raise after 90 days, and free rent (in exchange for maintenance work) were allegedly broken. This led to the reviewer and their husband having to relocate again for work elsewhere. This information, while not directly about the RV stay experience, does provide insight into the management's integrity and operational practices, which could indirectly impact the overall environment of the resort.
It is important for potential guests to be aware of this negative employment review, even as they consider the positive feedback from other visitors regarding the beauty of the park and the friendliness of the staff encountered as guests. The discrepancy in these experiences highlights the complexity of assessing a business based on limited online information.
Typically, RV resorts offer a range of services and amenities to cater to the needs of travelers with recreational vehicles. While specific details about the amenities at Oregon Coast RV Resort are not exhaustively listed in the provided reviews, based on the positive feedback, it can be inferred that essential services such as hookups for water, electricity, and possibly sewer are available at the RV sites. The mention of "pristine and charming landscaping" suggests that the grounds are well-maintained, and the presence of a creek indicates natural beauty within the resort.
Given the positive mention of clean facilities and a welcoming atmosphere, it is likely that Oregon Coast RV Resort also provides restrooms and shower facilities for guests. However, this is an assumption based on typical RV park offerings and the overall positive tone of one review regarding the cleanliness and management. To obtain a comprehensive list of all available amenities, including laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, recreational areas, or any other specific services, it is recommended to contact the resort directly using the provided phone numbers.
As no specific promotional information was included in the available reviews, it is impossible to comment on any current specials, discounts, or packages that Oregon Coast RV Resort might be offering. Individuals interested in potential promotions should inquire directly when contacting the resort for reservations or information.
In conclusion, Oregon Coast RV Resort in Reedsport appears to be a beautiful and potentially very pleasant destination for RV travelers seeking "RV parks near me" on the Oregon Coast. Its location between Reedsport and Winchester Bay offers access to a variety of coastal attractions and outdoor activities. The resort itself boasts natural beauty, including a creek and abundant birdlife, and the sites are described as private due to surrounding hedges. Positive reviews commend the friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, as well as the pristine landscaping. However, one review raises significant concerns regarding the management's treatment of employees, which potential guests may want to consider as part of their overall assessment. Despite this, the positive experiences shared by RV guests suggest that Oregon Coast RV Resort could be a wonderful choice for a coastal getaway. It is recommended to contact the resort directly for detailed information about amenities, site availability, and any current promotions.

Oregon Coast RV Resort Reviews
Located between Reedsport and Winchester Bay, the park itself is absolutely beautiful. There is a little creek that runs through it, and the sites are "private" in that they are surrounded by a hedge. There are an array of beautiful birds, and the staff are kind, full of smiles, and ready to help. That being said, don't work here. We relocated from Arizona for my husband to take a job here in maintenance. They promised great pay and a bump in pay after 90 days, along with free rent since he was working for them. They lied. He was paid less than the original agreement and went back on all of their promises. This forced us to relocate yet again for work elsewhere.
Dec 04, 2024 · Lori GMy experience here was absolutely amazing. From the knowledgeable and welcoming staff to the pristine and charming landscaping, the location is private and convenient, I would absolutely return. The feeling of the trees and friendly atmosphere is highly recommended.
Nov 29, 2024 · GoddessWonderful park and staff. Lots of cute things all over. Hanging plants solar lights. Dog friendly and poor bags available. I’d love to come back but we live a long ways off so may not. A great experience thanks so much
Sep 24, 2024 · Duane MartinWe were delightfully surprised with the park. It's well maintained and managed. The location assures quiet enjoyment.Safe and clean.A.very good value all around.
Oct 09, 2024 · Richard EshelmanBeen Staying here long term for 5 months during winter months and off and on short stays for many years now. This year we were informed of a 200$ deposit to reserve our spot for the winter. Upon arrival we were told it was refunded when we check out.Couple months down the line they change it to we will reduce your last months rent by 200$ if you give us 30 days notice and if not you forfit the deposit. This place is shady and ever changing with rules and policies. It has gone way down hill in past few years and they do not screen any guests. I had a cable cut and generator and my boat motor stolen and when reported to office I was told I was being targeted and it was not their problem. The cameras here only seem to work when its convenient for them. The owner is a coward and refuses to address any of the issues with constant late night tweeker traffic, or the drug and alcohol issues with the staff he employs or his guests. The maintenance guy drives thru at high speeds and has no concern for any person walking and my kids were very close to being hit a few times.I am sure this will get a response and say that I was a problem but I assure you the only problems I have had in Douglas County is with the staff and people here at OCRV.ALSO THEY ARE NOT KID FRIENDLYBathrooms are full of black moldWater and power are off and on all the time without noticeFlooding is horribleAnd there are no caps on sewer hook ups so when water is Flooding into park it's running into the sewer constantly in many spotsI could go on and on but in conclusion you should stay as far away from this "NOT RESORT" AS POSSIBLE.
