Orolake Mobile Home Park Introduce
While your search might be for "RV parks near me," it's important to understand the distinction between RV parks and mobile home parks. Orolake Mobile Home Park, located at 3425 Orange Ave SPC 11, Oroville, CA 95966, USA, is a residential community offering mobile home living rather than temporary RV sites. However, for those considering a longer-term stay or exploring housing options beyond traditional RV parks in the Oroville area, Orolake Mobile Home Park presents a community with a convenient location and certain amenities.
Based on available customer reviews, Orolake Mobile Home Park offers a unique living experience characterized by a friendly neighborly atmosphere and a notably convenient location. One resident enthusiastically describes the neighbors as "really friendly" and highlights the manager as "totally awesome." This positive social environment can contribute significantly to the overall quality of life within the park, fostering a sense of community and belonging among residents.
A significant advantage of Orolake Mobile Home Park is its exceptional convenience. The park boasts a location that allows for easy access to a variety of essential services and amenities. For everyday needs, a 7-Eleven store and a public bus stop (B line) are within a very short walk. This accessibility to public transportation can be particularly beneficial for residents who rely on it for commuting or running errands. Furthermore, the park is within walking distance of important healthcare facilities, including a clinic, the hospital, and an Urgent Care Clinic, all situated approximately within a mile or a 25-minute walk. This proximity to medical services offers peace of mind and ease of access for residents.
In terms of shopping and leisure, Orolake Mobile Home Park also scores well. A grocery store (Raley's) is located about a mile away, making grocery shopping a manageable walk. For those who enjoy spending time outdoors, several parks and waterfront spots are also within a mile's walk, offering opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Families with children will appreciate the elementary school located about a 10-minute walk from the park. Additionally, downtown Oroville is approximately a mile away, providing access to a wider range of shops, restaurants, and services.
The park itself offers some on-site amenities for the convenience of its residents. Pay laundry facilities are available within the community, eliminating the need to travel elsewhere for this essential service. This on-site convenience can save residents time and effort. Furthermore, the park features a short trail located on its backside (or front side, depending on perspective). This trail includes a couple of clearings where children can play freely and safely, making it a family-friendly aspect of the community.
For those seeking spiritual connections, several churches are located within walking distance of Orolake Mobile Home Park. This accessibility to places of worship can be an important factor for some residents. The overall sentiment expressed by one reviewer is positive, suggesting a rating of at least four to four and a half stars, with the only noted desire for improvement being the addition of a swimming pool and/or a hot tub.
It is crucial to consider all available information when evaluating Orolake Mobile Home Park. A more recent update indicates a change in ownership to Hignell Companies. This change in management could potentially bring about changes in the park's operations, amenities, or overall environment. Additionally, another review presents a significantly contrasting perspective, alleging issues such as the presence of individuals engaging in illicit activities and recounting a negative personal experience involving theft. This review paints a picture of a "ran down place" and raises concerns about safety and security within the community.
Given the conflicting nature of the available reviews, it is advisable for prospective residents to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence. Visiting the park in person, speaking with current residents (if possible), and inquiring directly with the management about security measures and community guidelines would be prudent steps in making an informed decision. The significant disparity between the positive and negative feedback underscores the importance of gathering comprehensive and up-to-date information.
While Orolake Mobile Home Park may not fit the initial search for "RV parks near me," it presents a mobile home living option in Oroville with a highly convenient location and a sense of community reported by some residents. The proximity to essential amenities, including shops, public transportation, healthcare, and schools, is a significant advantage. However, the contrasting negative review regarding safety and the overall condition of the park should not be disregarded. The recent change in ownership to Hignell Companies may signify potential changes, but it is essential to seek current information to understand the present living conditions and management practices at Orolake Mobile Home Park.
For those interested in exploring long-term residential options in Oroville beyond temporary RV stays, Orolake Mobile Home Park's location offers considerable convenience. However, prospective residents should weigh the reported positive aspects of community and accessibility against the serious concerns raised in the negative review and the potential impact of the new ownership. Direct inquiry and a visit to the park are strongly recommended to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current living environment at Orolake Mobile Home Park.

Orolake Mobile Home Park Reviews
Neighbors are really friendly, the manager is totally awesome, the rent is exceptionally reasonable and it feels like home, I'm happy here, very convenient location it's a very short walk to 7 eleven, and the bus stop for the B line public bus. Walking distance to the clinic and to the grocery store (about a mile/25min.walk -to clinic, Raley's, the hospital, and also to the Urgent Care Clinic. It is also not too far of a walk to a couple different parks, there is an elementary school about a 10-minute walk away by the looks of it seems like a nice School and downtown is not but about a mile away there is also a couple different spots if you like hanging out by the water that are only about a mile walk or 25 minutes or so... there is also a short trail that is pretty nice and has a couple clearings where the kids can play or play on their little riding toys or kick a ball around right on the back side (or front side depending on your view point), there are a couple of different churches as well that are walking distance and there is on site pay laundry... Overall I would give this place at least four or four and a half Stars The Only thing that would make it better is if there was a swimming pool and/or a hot tub. UPDATE: NEW OWNERS- Hignell Companies.
