Based on the available customer reviews, Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina appears to be a popular choice for those seeking a fun and engaging lakeside experience. One recurring theme in the positive feedback is the resort's prime location, particularly the waterfront sites. One reviewer, who has made it an annual tradition for a week-long fishing vacation, specifically recommends Waterfront Site A5. They stayed in this site with a Class C motorhome towing a boat and found it to offer full hookups with 30 Amp service and ample space to park their boat. While they noted that leveling the RV on the site could be "a bit hard," they emphasized that the view was "definitely worth it." This highlights the allure of the waterfront location and the potential for stunning scenery.
The natural environment surrounding the RV sites is also a notable feature. The presence of "Many wild birds, Geese, Ducks nesting around the grass beds" is mentioned, adding to the natural charm of the location. However, the reviewer also playfully advises visitors to "watch your feet during that mating season," indicating a close proximity to the local wildlife. The availability of a "rustic picnic table and grass pad" suggests a blend of natural and basic amenities at the sites, focusing on the outdoor experience.
For those concerned about connectivity, the reviewer provided insights on both cellular service and internet access. While they did not report on the park's Wi-Fi due to using Starlink, they noted that Verizon service provided a minimum of 4 bars, suggesting reliable cellular connectivity in the area. This can be an important consideration for travelers who need to stay connected.
A major draw of Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina, as highlighted by the repeat visitor, is the bass fishing. They reported excellent fishing conditions, catching around 40 bass over four days of boating, with sizes ranging from 13 to 18 inches, making for "super fun on light tackle." This clearly positions the resort as an ideal destination for fishing enthusiasts looking for "RV parks near me" with direct lake access and successful fishing opportunities.
The staff at Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina consistently receive positive feedback. The reviewer specifically thanked Dave and Mark for being "always friendly and accommodating," indicating a welcoming and helpful service culture. This positive interaction with staff can significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
Another reviewer echoes the sentiment of a "fun RV park to stay at" and recommends choosing the "premier sites" for parking RVs, suggesting that these sites are "worth the little extra." This implies that the resort offers different tiers of sites with varying amenities or locations, with the premier options providing a superior experience. This is valuable information for potential visitors when making reservations.
A unique feature mentioned in the second review is the presence of a bar with karaoke. This adds a social and entertainment aspect to the RV park, creating opportunities for guests to relax, socialize, and enjoy themselves in the evenings. The reviewer also specifically mentions the "huge chicken fingers" at the bar, suggesting a casual dining option is available on-site. The fact that this reviewer makes their stay at Osprey Point an "annual event" further underscores the positive experiences and the enjoyable atmosphere of the resort.
The reviewer also mentions enjoying watching "Betty sing" and expresses missing "Big H," indicating a sense of community and familiar faces among both staff and possibly regular visitors. This personal touch can contribute to a warm and welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina stands out due to its waterfront location, marina access (implied by the boating and fishing activities), and the availability of recreational activities like karaoke. These features go beyond the basic amenities of a typical RV park and offer a more resort-like experience. The positive reviews regarding friendly and accommodating staff further enhance its appeal.
For local users searching for an RV park that offers more than just a place to park their RV, Osprey Point seems to provide a complete vacation experience centered around lake activities and a fun social atmosphere. The combination of fishing, boating, potential marina services (though not explicitly detailed, the name suggests its presence), and on-site entertainment makes it a compelling option.
To get a comprehensive understanding of all the amenities and services offered, including the specifics of the marina (boat launch, docking facilities, etc.), the different types of RV sites available and their pricing, Wi-Fi availability throughout the park, and any other recreational facilities, prospective visitors should contact Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina directly. Inquiring about any potential promotions or special packages, especially for longer stays or during fishing season, might also be beneficial.
In conclusion, Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina in Lakeside, Oregon, appears to be a well-regarded destination for RV travelers, particularly those interested in fishing and boating. The waterfront location, friendly staff, and fun amenities like karaoke contribute to a positive guest experience. While some sites might present leveling challenges, the overall appeal of the resort, especially the premier sites, seems to outweigh this for many visitors. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" with a focus on lake activities and a vibrant atmosphere should definitely consider Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina.

Osprey Point RV Resort & Marina Reviews
This is our second year for a week fishing vacation and we just love it. We stayed both times in Waterfront Site A5 with a Class C motorhome towing a boat.. full hook ups 30 Amp with enough room for the boat. It is a bit hard to level up but definitely worth the view. A bit rustic picnic table and grass pad with Many wild birds, Geese, Ducks nesting around the grass beds so watch your feet during that mating season. No report on WiFi because we have Starlink but Verizon was 4 bars min.Bass fishing is Tops , we took the boat out 4 out of 7 days stay , my wife and I got around 40 bass total and kept a couple for dinner. Size range from 13” to 18” super fun on light tackle.Staff was always friendly and accommodating Thanks to Dave and Mark. Will go back again.
Apr 30, 2025 · Francois ReneFun RV park to stay at. Choose the premier sites to park your RV (worth the little extra) and be sure to frequent the bar for karaoke and huge chicken fingers. Great staff and a lot of fun. We make it an annual event and always enjoy watching Betty sing and will miss Big H.
May 29, 2024 · Dave SchlichtingThis RV park could be a solid 4* with some basic improvements. Sites are gravel and uneven. Some of the main access roads are paved. Picnic tables are in poor shape and sites are overgrown and in need of mowing. The recent rains created a large puddle right in the area to park our truck. Again adding good road baseand grading would be a big improvement. Didn't use the restrooms or laundry. The sewer access was missing it's cap. There appear to be many full timers. The staff was super friendly so for customer service this deserves 5*. Check in was easy and we were guided to our site. Very quiet the night we stayed.
May 10, 2024 · C & BWe stayed at this RV park for a few weeks last summer and plan on coming again this year. The lake is wonderful. Our site was ok. The staff was nice and very helpful. The pizza was magnificent. My only complaint is while we were there another guest had multiple political signs posted at their RV site. I don’t believe this should be allowed in a public RV park. I found it offensive. I’m sure since this is an election year there will be others who wish to show their support for their candidate but not everyone supports the same candidate. I hope this practice will not be allowed anylonger
May 13, 2024 · Cynthia OBrienMultiple times over the last few weeks we have not even had our order taken. I have stood at the bar to ask about placing an order multiple times for over 15 minutes and not even been acknowledged. This is hands down the worst customer service I have experienced. Great camping experience though and beautiful location
