Santa Cruz / Monterey Bay KOA Holiday Reviews
Amazing campground for families! We stayed in RV spot 176 and it backed to the playground. It was a quick walk to the bathrooms and the jumping area. I loved that I could sit next to the fire in the evening and watch the kids play from our camp site. The kids made a few new friends and the amenities they offer are outstanding! Wish we stayed longer! The only negative was that there were puddles of water in the showers.
Apr 25, 2025 · jenn GLove this Santa Cruz KOA location and ALL the staff is wonderful. I'm a manager at a luxury hotel in Monterey Bay and I enjoyed the great service at check-in and everywhere. Whenever I ran into any KOA staff, I was greeted with a smile + hello! That's super important. I also wanted to say that I also really appreciated getting a pre-arrival call letting me know that my glamping unit was ready early! (my special request) Thank you! The property is beautiful, the jacuzzi is huge, pool is really nice, and the fellow campers staying there are really good people. Really great programs almost every weekend so see the calendar. It's a happy place for kids and adults! Robert
Mar 27, 2025 · Robert SlaybersStaff really made this place a true 5 Star experience. Accomodations are great and better than most other KOA's we have been to. They take the security of our family very seriously with wristbands and constant patrol.Would 100% come back next time we are in the area.
Apr 29, 2025 · Kevin ConradGood place to take kids. Lots of activities, close to the beach, Santa Cruz, and Monterey. That said, if you don't have children, you might find it noisy, and crowded with kids running around. We did not appreciate the resort fee they tacked on as we used none of the amenities.Sites are spacious, clean and well maintained.
May 04, 2025 · Scott BehanThis was the most well-maintained establishment I've ever stayed in, with unbeatable views and amenities!! The cabin far surpassed our expectations, with every need anticipated. The kitchen and linens were fully-stocked with basics, and the TV was the latest technology (Fire TV stick) that my kids navigated it immediately. The hillside view couldn't be beat, and the shade and patio were perfect.
