Pecan Grove RV Park boasts a location that many visitors rave about. Its proximity to downtown Austin is a significant advantage, allowing easy access to the city's renowned attractions, entertainment venues, dining experiences, and cultural hotspots. According to customer feedback, the management at Pecan Grove RV Park is a notable highlight. Mark, the manager, is frequently mentioned for his welcoming demeanor and helpfulness. Guests have shared experiences of feeling well-received and supported during their stay, with the manager readily assisting with any minor issues that may arise. This personal touch can significantly enhance the overall camping experience, fostering a sense of community and care.
However, it's important to consider all aspects of Pecan Grove RV Park. Some reviews indicate that the physical condition of the park may be showing signs of wear and tear. Specific mentions include the presence of overgrown weeds, broken concrete, and inconsistencies in the upkeep of long-term resident sites. While the location remains a major draw, potential visitors should be aware of these observations regarding the park's overall tidiness and maintenance.
Another point to note is the facility's amenities. Current information suggests that Wi-Fi is not available at Pecan Grove RV Park. This is a crucial consideration for travelers who rely on internet access for work, communication, or entertainment. Additionally, the park operates on a cash-only basis for payments, which is an important detail to keep in mind when planning your stay.
The nightly rate mentioned in a recent review was $80. While the prime location undoubtedly contributes to this pricing, potential guests should weigh this cost against the provided amenities and the reported condition of the park. It's advisable to inquire about current pricing and any potential discounts when making a reservation.
In summary, Pecan Grove RV Park offers a compelling advantage through its exceptional location near downtown Austin and Barton Springs. The friendly and helpful management, as highlighted in customer reviews, adds to the positive aspects of staying at this park. The ability to easily access the city's attractions without the need for constant transportation is a significant benefit for many travelers. However, it's essential to be aware of feedback regarding the park's physical condition, the lack of Wi-Fi, and the cash-only payment policy. Potential visitors should consider these factors alongside the prime location and friendly service to make an informed decision about their stay in Austin.

Pecan Grove RV Park Reviews
Excellent place to stay . Mark, the manager was terrific and made us feel welcome and helped us with any minor issue we had. The location is the main draw and the proximity to downtown is amazing.
Feb 02, 2025 · Janet CraneThe location is great, we were visiting family for a couple of days and were able to walk where we needed to go. The manager was very friendly and helpful. However, the place is run down and scruffy. Long-term residents are not required to keep their sites tidy, there are overgrown weeds everywhere, broken bits of concrete and the bathroom was not stocked properly. The price is high at $80 per night, and oddly they will only take cash. No wifi available.
Apr 24, 2025 · Sarah SThis place was convenient. But the bathrooms were old. The grounds weren’t groomed. The site we rented was filled with fire ants. They hadn’t cleaned the site we had to do our own pest control and throw out the trash and blow off the broken concrete pad. The water connection was not convenient the electrical hookup was in the opposite side of the coach. If it wasn’t for the convenience we wouldn’t otherwise stay here.
Mar 21, 2025 · FL_Bug_KillersHands down the best RV location in the entire US. Yosemite is a close second to this Hip Urban Airstream lifestyle location. Hidden Gem and if you are lucky enough to land here, DO IT!! Cycle Town Lake, Take the kids to Butler park or the central library, or the Springs! enjoy all that downtown Austin has to offer from this walk everywhere RV urban park. So blessed to make this my home for now….!!
Oct 24, 2023 · Jim DavidsonDon’t expect much for your price here. Don’t even have picnic tables at the site. Overgrown weeds surrounding the broken cinderblocks that were used to cover the sewer. Seems to be mostly a place for permanent campers. Weed management would keep the bugs down. Pretty much zero amenities. Only plus is that it backs up to a park which is along the river.
