Pine Village Introduce
For individuals and families exploring stable, long-term housing solutions in Sanford, North Carolina, Pine Village, located at 165 Firethorn Ln, Sanford, NC 27332, presents itself as a dedicated residential community. While the search category "RV Parks Near Me" might occasionally include locations that cater to extended stay RVs, Pine Village's primary focus appears to be on permanent mobile home residency and possibly apartment rentals. It positions itself as a community for established living, catering to those seeking a fixed address and a sense of belonging in the Sanford area rather than transient recreational vehicle parking.
Pine Village is situated on Firethorn Lane in Sanford, NC, indicating a location within a residential zone of the city. The environment is that of a structured community designed for permanent residents. It features a layout of individual mobile home lots, with designated spaces for mobile homes, personal outdoor areas, and parking. The inclusion of "apartments" in its likely offering suggests a mix of housing types, catering to a broader range of residential needs within the same community. The overall atmosphere of the park, based on customer reviews, emphasizes a positive living experience, highlighting a supportive and amazing staff, which contributes significantly to the perceived environment.
Sanford, located in Lee County, North Carolina, experiences a humid subtropical climate, characterized by hot, humid summers and mild winters. The general topography of the region is gently rolling, typical of the North Carolina Piedmont. While Pine Village itself is a developed residential community, its location within Sanford offers residents convenient access to the town's urban amenities and services, and the broader region provides natural attractions within a reasonable driving distance.
The upkeep of individual properties by residents and the maintenance of common areas and infrastructure by the park management collectively define the physical environment. The positive feedback from residents about their living experience suggests a well-managed and maintained community, at least in terms of resident relations and responsiveness. There are no specific comments about infrastructure (like roads, unlike some other parks), which could imply they are adequate or not a major concern for residents.
Pine Village is designed to support the needs of long-term mobile home and possibly apartment residents, with its services and amenities reflecting this focus on permanent living. It is not configured for short-term recreational RV camping. The expected services and amenities typically found in such a residential community include:
- Full Utility Hookups: Each mobile home lot and apartment unit would be equipped with essential utility connections, including water, sewer, and electricity, providing residents with the full conveniences expected of a permanent home.
- Dedicated Lots/Units for Permanent Living: The park provides designated individual lots for mobile homes or apartment units, allowing residents to establish a fixed, long-term residence. Residents typically pay monthly rent for the space or the unit itself.
- Parking: Each residence would generally come with dedicated or ample parking space for residents' vehicles, ensuring convenience and accessibility.
- On-Site/Accessible Management and Staff: A standout feature, as highlighted by multiple customer reviews, is the presence of an "amazing" and "super helpful, nice, and caring" staff, specifically mentioning "Maddie" and "Brittany." This indicates a strong emphasis on resident support, application assistance, and ongoing help with needs. This level of personalized service is a significant amenity for long-term residents. The provided phone number, (919) 888-4051, likely connects directly to this supportive management team.
It's important to understand what is typically not provided, which differentiates it from amenity-rich RV resorts or modern apartment complexes:
- Limited Recreational Facilities: While not explicitly stated, mobile home parks primarily focused on long-term residency generally do not offer extensive communal recreational facilities like swimming pools, clubhouses, fitness centers, or dedicated playgrounds. Residents would typically seek these amenities outside the park within the wider Sanford community.
- No Public Restrooms/Showers: As a permanent residential community, residents utilize the facilities within their own homes, and communal restrooms or shower houses are not typically provided.
- No Transient RV Sites: The park's infrastructure and operational focus are on permanent mobile home and apartment placement, not short-term overnight or weekly RV stays. Therefore, it would not be a suitable option for recreational vehicle travelers seeking temporary hookup sites.
The core service of Pine Village is the provision of a secure and serviced residential space for long-term living, significantly enhanced by its attentive and supportive staff.
Pine Village offers several key features that appeal to its specific demographic for long-term housing in Sanford:
- Exceptional Staff and Management: This is a recurring theme in positive customer reviews. The emphasis on "amazing," "helpful," "nice," and "caring" staff (Maddie and Brittany specifically) indicates a strong focus on resident satisfaction and a supportive living environment. This personalized approach to service can significantly enhance the quality of life for residents, helping with everything from the application process to ongoing needs.
- Focus on Long-Term Residency: The community is designed for permanent living, fostering a more stable and potentially close-knit neighborhood atmosphere. This is appealing for those seeking a fixed address and a sense of belonging.
- Affordable Housing Option: Mobile home parks and apartment complexes can often provide a more economical housing solution compared to traditional stick-built homes in the same area. This makes Pine Village a potentially attractive option for individuals and families seeking budget-friendly long-term housing in Sanford.
- Accessibility to Sanford Amenities: Its location in Sanford, NC, ensures residents have convenient access to the city's various amenities, including shopping centers, grocery stores, dining establishments, healthcare facilities, and schools. This is a crucial factor for daily living.
However, one review mentions a family getting "denied from my credit, which makes zero sense," highlighting that like any residential community, Pine Village has an application and screening process. This is a common feature in managed residential properties to ensure a compatible and financially responsible community, though individual experiences with the process can vary. It's important for prospective residents to understand that standard rental qualifications, including credit checks and income verification, will apply.
For individuals and families in Sanford, NC, who are exploring "RV Parks Near Me" with a specific interest in long-term mobile home or apartment living, Pine Village is a strong contender. Here's some important promotional and practical advice:
- Target Audience: Ideal for individuals and families seeking an affordable, stable, and long-term residential solution in a mobile home and/or apartment community in Sanford. It is particularly suited for those who value a supportive and responsive management team. It is not designed for transient recreational RV campers.
- Contact Directly for Application & Availability: For the most precise and up-to-date information on available units or lots, current rental rates, lease terms, application processes (including specific income and credit requirements), and park rules, it is crucial to contact the management directly. The provided phone number is (919) 888-4051 or +1 919-888-4051. Prepare to go through a standard application and background check process.
- Value the Staff Interaction: The consistently positive reviews about staff members like Maddie and Brittany suggest that the human element is a significant strength of this community. Prospective residents should engage with the staff during their inquiry to experience this helpfulness firsthand.
- Visit the Community: A personal visit is highly advisable to assess the overall environment, the specific unit or lot, and to get a feel for the community's atmosphere. This allows prospective residents to ensure the community aligns with their expectations for a long-term home.
- Review Lease Agreements Thoroughly: Before committing, carefully read and understand all terms and conditions of the lease agreement, including monthly rent, utility responsibilities, any maintenance obligations, and specific community guidelines or rules.
Pine Village appears to be a well-regarded residential community in Sanford, NC, offering long-term mobile home and apartment living options. Its strong emphasis on supportive and responsive staff makes it a particularly attractive choice for those seeking a stable, affordable, and positively managed place to call home in the area.

Pine Village Reviews
Britney was super helpful, nice, and caring. Although, my family and I got denied, even though I was not part of the income stream, got denied from my credit, which makes zero sense.
Feb 19, 2025 · Jonathan Schuster (Jon)Very amazing place to live in. The staff are amazing. Maddie has been an amazing and helpful person since I put in my application. She helped me every step of the way to get an amazing home here and she continues to help me to this day, I have been living here for 5 months and Maddie has also been there to help with anything I need. she has just been amazing to me. Brittany has also been an amazing help by answering any questions I have. She helps me with my needs as if they were her needs. She asks how we are doing and if there is anything that she can help with. These 2 wonderful ladies have made my experience living here amazing and an easy process as well. so from the bottom of my heart I appreciate everything they do help me.
May 13, 2024 · noe vivasWe have applied for a home at Pine Village and what a wonderful experience. Matti and Brittany bent over backwards to explain things to a couple of old and hard of hearing couple (us). we were given a tour and decided to apply. We did not understand the application process as older and not so experienced computer users. So, we went back the next day without an appointment and they both were happy to help us although they were very busy. Brittany sat down with my wife and helped her complete everything. We hope we will be as happy living there as we are with these two.
May 15, 2024 · Carrie CI lived here from December 2020 until July 2022. It was a pleasant experience until the last month. I was constantly calling for help from the office due to some financial issues. Was renting month to month, and asked for a prorated amount for the week that I was staying to pack up and clean, as I could no longer afford living there. Got no calls back. No emails back. I moved out and still heard nothing back. I had always paid my rent on time living there, never had any complaints or issues. With hearing nothing back, I sent a letter with my forwarding address for any documents or statements that may have been needed to be sent to me. We dropped the keys and letter at the office in their mail slot since nobody was ever in the office there either. I told them to keep my security deposit to cover the WEEK that we stayed to pack and clean and any damages that may have been found. I left security alarms on windows for next tenants as well as shower rods and additional air filters as we were never provided with them. Instead of getting a hold of me, they sent me to a collections agency 9 MONTHS LATER. Ridiculous. By the way, the amount they sent me to collections for, was LESS than my security deposit THAT THEY KEPT. No warning. No letters saying anything. No kind of communications. Nothing. With the way vandalism and harassment happens there. The 3am music BLASTING and people shooting guns there.
Apr 18, 2023 · Kirsten KnutzenBy far the best place I’ve ever lived, Maddie was the biggest help in the world. Was there for me every step of the way. I’d recommend anybody to go to her!!
