PK Mobile Home Park Introduce
Located at 6125 Telegraph Rd in Toledo, Ohio, PK Mobile Home Park is a community that, according to resident feedback, has undergone significant changes, particularly with new ownership. While categorized under 'RV parks near me,' it is important to note that PK Mobile Home Park primarily serves as a mobile home park, now designated as a 55+ community, offering lots for rent to those who own or are looking to purchase a mobile home. Its inclusion in the 'RV parks near me' listings may indicate its presence as a residential option in the Toledo area that might, under certain circumstances, accommodate RVs on a long-term basis, although this is not explicitly stated and would require direct verification with the management.
The environment of PK Mobile Home Park, based on past experiences, was reportedly a "very nice place" when it was more affordable. However, current residents express concerns about the value proposition. The park is described as having "tiny lots" and relying on "on street parking," with the absence of amenities such as a pool or a dedicated park area. These limitations, coupled with increasing costs, are impacting the perceived quality of the living environment for some residents. The transition to a 55+ community is also a significant environmental factor, catering specifically to residents in that age range. However, as noted by a reviewer, many individuals in this demographic are on a fixed income, making affordability a critical consideration.
The services and features of PK Mobile Home Park, as reflected in the reviews, are somewhat limited and have raised concerns among residents. The lack of a pool or park area is specifically mentioned as a drawback, especially considering the rising costs. The introduction of an "extra water bill" has further contributed to the increased financial burden on residents. One long-term resident's friend, who lived in the park for over ten years, noted that under previous ownership, it was considered an "ideal community." However, the new owners are reportedly raising lot rent frequently (twice within a year, by "hundred plus $"), which is a significant concern for affordability. Additionally, the new management has allegedly implemented "many/petty rules," which have negatively impacted the living experience for some residents. The same reviewer also overheard the owner "degrading her manager to another tenant," raising concerns about the professionalism and management style within the park.
A key feature of PK Mobile Home Park is its recent transition to a 55+ community. While this caters to a specific demographic seeking a senior living environment, the reviews suggest that the financial realities of many in this age group are not being adequately considered by the new ownership. The focus on a 55+ age group might foster a quieter and more age-specific community, but the concerns about affordability and management style appear to be overshadowing this potential benefit for some residents. The small lot sizes and on-street parking remain features of the park, which are now being weighed against the increasing costs.
Currently, there is no promotional information available for PK Mobile Home Park in the provided data. Potential residents should be aware of the recent negative feedback regarding significant lot rent increases, the introduction of additional utility bills, and concerns about management practices. The absence of amenities like a pool or park area, coupled with the small lot sizes and on-street parking, should also be considered in light of the overall cost of living in the park. Individuals interested in residing in PK Mobile Home Park, particularly those within the 55+ age range, should contact the park management directly at (419) 344-7008 or +1 419-344-7008 to inquire about current lot availability, rental rates, all applicable fees (including water), and the specific rules and regulations of the 55+ community.
For individuals considering PK Mobile Home Park as a potential long-term residence, it is crucial to directly engage with the park management to gain a clear understanding of the current costs, rules, and the overall living environment. Asking specific questions about the frequency and amount of recent rent increases, the billing for water and other utilities, and the enforcement of the community rules would be advisable. Given the negative feedback regarding management style, it might also be beneficial to speak with current residents, if possible, to get a firsthand perspective on the day-to-day living experience in PK Mobile Home Park under the new ownership.
In the context of the 'RV parks near me' category, the information available suggests that PK Mobile Home Park primarily caters to long-term mobile home residents within a 55+ age group. There is no explicit mention of accommodations for RVs, and the descriptions of "tiny lots" and on-street parking might not be suitable for recreational vehicles. Individuals seeking RV parks in the Toledo area should likely look for facilities that specifically advertise RV accommodations and offer the necessary amenities such as appropriately sized lots and hookups.
In conclusion, PK Mobile Home Park in Toledo, Ohio, is a 55+ community that has experienced changes under new ownership, leading to concerns among some residents about increasing costs, additional fees, and management practices. While it was reportedly a pleasant place in the past, the current feedback highlights issues with affordability relative to the amenities and lot sizes. Prospective residents, particularly those in the 55+ demographic on a fixed income, should carefully consider these points and directly contact the park management at (419) 344-7008 or +1 419-344-7008 for detailed and current information before making a decision. It is essential to have a clear understanding of all costs, rules, and the overall living environment in PK Mobile Home Park under its new ownership.

PK Mobile Home Park Reviews
Was a very nice place back when you could afford it. Now, With the extra water bill, 500 is too much for on street parking and tiny lots and no pool or park area. It's now a 55+ community, but they don't realize most in that age range are on a fixed budget, it's now very hard to afford this place. Look for a cheaper nicer park to be happy in, they still exist! Ones that aren't Expensive!
May 12, 2024 · Keith StoneHave a friend that's lived there 10+years.. Until new owners came.. It was the ideal community, but these newbies are raising lot rent AGAIN(2cnd x within year) hundred plus $ and they've changed many/petty rules.. And over heard owner degrading her manager to another tenant to.. JUST seems like it's a false front door this new company to take advantage of elderly.
Jan 31, 2024 · Marie Only ShaferUsed to be a nice place. Posting for sale coming soon. Wish we had Larry Ward back. Planned on retiring here but getting too expensive for this poor city worker. Refuse to pay for any repairs that owners should be paying for not the lot RENTERS.
Aug 11, 2023 · Amy UrbanskiMy husband came to see if there were any homes for sale here yesterday even though you could clearly see the ones for sale because they have for sale signs he asks about using his VETERAN loan and the tells him we don't take section 8??? Not sure how they correlate even remotely ! Definitely seemed racist . Glad we didn't waste our hard EARNED money here.
