Northtowne Meadows Introduce
For local users in the Erie, Michigan area seeking long-term residential options, Northtowne Meadows, located at 6255 Telegraph Rd, Erie, MI 48133, USA, presents itself as a mobile home park to consider. While categorized under platforms that may also list "RV parks near me," Northtowne Meadows primarily functions as a residential community for mobile homes. Potential residents can reach the park at the provided phone numbers: (734) 847-7355 and +1 734-847-7355. Understanding the environment, potential services, and features of this community is crucial for those considering making it their home. It's also important to acknowledge the recent feedback from residents, which offers insights into the application process and the overall living experience.
Erie, Michigan, is situated in the southeastern part of the state, near the border with Ohio. Its location on Telegraph Road, a significant north-south corridor, suggests that Northtowne Meadows likely benefits from relatively easy access to surrounding areas and local amenities. The environment around Erie is generally characterized by a mix of rural and suburban settings, with proximity to Lake Erie offering potential for recreational activities and scenic views, although the direct proximity of Northtowne Meadows to the lake is not specified. Residents might find themselves within a reasonable driving distance of shopping centers, schools, healthcare facilities, and other essential services in Erie and nearby towns.
One recent review provides a concerning account of an applicant's experience with the application process at Northtowne Meadows. This individual reported being denied residency based on a non-disclosed felony charge from 24 years prior and what they described as a below-average credit score. The reviewer expressed disappointment with the perceived scrutiny of a decades-old conviction and the weight given to their credit score, especially in light of their efforts to provide for their family. This feedback raises important considerations for prospective residents regarding the park's application criteria and background check policies. It suggests that Northtowne Meadows may have a thorough screening process that extends to past legal history and creditworthiness. Applicants should be prepared to disclose relevant information and understand the criteria upon which residency decisions are made.
The same review also uses strong language, referring to "discrimination" and advising potential newcomers to "stay away from this discriminatory trailer court overall." While this is a single account, it is a significant piece of feedback that local users should take into consideration when evaluating Northtowne Meadows as a potential living option. It underscores the importance of understanding the park's policies and procedures before investing time and application fees.
In contrast, another review offers a more positive perspective, stating, "Been here I year. Nice quiet community." This concise feedback suggests that, for at least one resident, Northtowne Meadows provides a peaceful living environment. The presence of a "nice quiet community" can be a significant draw for individuals and families seeking a tranquil residential setting. This positive comment offers a contrasting view to the negative application experience, highlighting a potential benefit of living within the park once residency is established.
Given that Northtowne Meadows operates as a mobile home park, the services and features typically cater to the needs of long-term residents. These generally include:
- **Individual Lots:** Residents would lease or potentially own the lots on which their mobile homes are situated. The size and layout of these lots can vary.
- **Utility Hookups:** Essential connections for water, sewer, and electricity are standard in mobile home parks. Residents are usually responsible for their individual utility consumption.
- **Roadways and Internal Infrastructure:** A network of roads within the park provides access to individual lots and any communal areas. The condition and maintenance of these roads can impact the quality of life within the community.
- **Management and Maintenance:** A management team is typically responsible for the overall operation and upkeep of the park, including common areas and infrastructure.
- **Potential Common Areas:** Some mobile home parks offer amenities such as a clubhouse, laundry facilities, playgrounds, or green spaces for residents' use. The availability of such amenities at Northtowne Meadows is not specified in the provided information.
Without more comprehensive details, the full range of services and features at Northtowne Meadows remains unknown. Local users considering this park should actively seek further information regarding these aspects, such as lot sizes, lease terms, utility costs, and available amenities.
From a promotional standpoint, highlighting the "nice quiet community" aspect, as mentioned by one resident, could be a key message for attracting potential residents who value peace and tranquility in their living environment. The location in Erie, Michigan, with its proximity to regional amenities and the broader southeastern Michigan area, could also be emphasized. However, the negative feedback regarding the application process is a significant factor that potential newcomers will likely consider.
It would be prudent for the management of Northtowne Meadows to address the concerns raised in the negative review, perhaps by clarifying their application policies and ensuring that these policies are transparent and applied fairly. Open communication regarding their screening criteria could help manage expectations for prospective residents.
In conclusion, Northtowne Meadows in Erie, Michigan, presents a mobile home park option for local users seeking long-term residency. While one resident describes it as a "nice quiet community," another provides a negative account of the application process, citing denial based on a decades-old felony charge and credit score. Potential residents should be aware of these contrasting viewpoints and the potential for a thorough background check process. Further investigation into the park's specific amenities, services, and application policies is strongly recommended for those considering Northtowne Meadows as their future home within the "RV parks near me" category for long-term living.

Northtowne Meadows Reviews
Terrible experience overall.. Submitted application only to be denied from a non disclosed felony charge from 24 yrs ago.. Didn’t honestly think I had to disclose it because of how long ago it was.. Ever since the conviction, (which yes was theft overall), I became married and had 3 children that I wanted nothing more than to provide for the legal way.. And then on top of that, to base your decision off of a below average credit score overall, says a lot about the company I was submitting the application to.. My credit may not be perfect overall, but instead of paying off past debts, I was focusing on providing properly for my wife and my children.. I would not recommend this place to anyone that goes to apply to this place overall.. Discrimination at its finest right here.. For a trailer court to background check you from 25 years ago is beyond comprehensible.. They probably paid more for the background check than I myself paid for the application fee for myself and my wife.. Wouldn’t want to live here anyhow.. Maybe the decision was correct overall.. But these reviews go along way to potential newcomers.. And it’s something that cannot be removed overall.. So now, you’se you can deal with that.. Stay away from this discriminatory trailer court overall.. Best advice I can give..

Oct 18, 2020 · Tricia AnayaDon’t even waste your time applying. First, they charge a bunch of money for application fees. Second, they don’t communicate at all to you during the application process. They also do a hard credit inquiry, of course they didn’t say this at all. I haven’t had a hard credit inquiry when applied for any house or apartment in the past 10 years. Now I have this on my credit report. Thirdly, my husband and I have a decent credit score and make $7000 a month and got denied. They didn’t call me or tell me about being denied, but I received a letter in the mail with no reason listed. Completely Unprofessional. I have great rental history and have never been denied for anything in my entire life. I literally have a leased vehicle, multiple credit cards and am currently renting a home. Something isn’t adding up. Oh yeah and make sure you drive through the entire community, it looks quiet dumpy compared to other mobile home communities. I found abandoned mattresses and other trash around the neighborhood.
Mar 15, 2023 · Sasha WorleyShout out to Stephanie... we had an issue with our stove, maintenance came out to check it and within a few days had a brand new one. Great place to live. They handle things quickly and efficiently. Love it here!!!
Jun 25, 2022 · Darlene SzymanskiIt is a very nice place to stay. It's quiet and they are very nice mobile homes. I've visit my Family when I come in and I like it. The small gym they have and the pool. Heading up to the basketball court and they also have a spot for volleyball. I like it a lot.
