Port Cove RV Resort and Marina Introduce
For local users seeking premier "RV parks near me" in a tranquil waterfront setting, Port Cove RV Resort and Marina, located at 107 Prt Cv Lndg Rd in Georgetown, Florida, presents an attractive option. This resort offers a blend of natural beauty, a welcoming atmosphere, and convenient access to water-based activities, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing escape from city life. Whether you are an avid angler, a nature enthusiast, or simply looking for a peaceful retreat, Port Cove RV Resort and Marina aims to provide a memorable experience.
One of the recurring themes in customer reviews is the exceptional level of hospitality and the friendly nature of both the staff and fellow guests. Multiple reviewers highlight the kindness and helpfulness of everyone they encountered at the resort. The staff, in particular, are praised for their excellent service and prompt responsiveness to guest needs. This emphasis on a welcoming and supportive environment can significantly enhance the overall enjoyment of your stay, fostering a sense of community and relaxation.
The natural beauty surrounding Port Cove RV Resort and Marina is another frequently mentioned highlight. Situated on the water, the resort offers picturesque views and a direct connection to the local waterways. One reviewer specifically mentions "Beautiful on the water!" and highlights George Lack as a particularly peaceful spot within the area, ideal for relaxation and even meditation. This suggests that the environment is conducive to unwinding and connecting with nature, providing a serene backdrop for your RV getaway.
For those interested in recreational activities, Port Cove RV Resort and Marina appears to be well-suited for fishing. While not explicitly detailed, the mention of "fishing" alongside relaxation and campfires suggests that the waterfront location provides opportunities for anglers to enjoy their hobby. The proximity to George Lack, a presumably fishable body of water, further supports this aspect of the resort's appeal.
The resort is also described as "clean," indicating that maintaining a pleasant and hygienic environment is a priority. This is an important factor for many RV travelers, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Knowing that the facilities and grounds are well-kept can add to the overall sense of relaxation and peace of mind.
One particularly moving review recounts an experience where the staff, especially Yoania, went above and beyond to assist a guest who had traveled from out of state to care for her father, a long-term winter resident at the resort, who had undergone emergency heart surgery. Yoania's immediate response to messages, daily check-ins, and offers of assistance once the father returned from the hospital demonstrate an extraordinary level of care and compassion. The staff's actions, such as intercepting Amazon packages and looking after the guest's motorhome while they were at the hospital, highlight a dedication to guest well-being that extends far beyond typical expectations. The generosity shown to the guest and her sister, including allowing them to use the facilities while caring for their father, underscores the exceptional hospitality at Port Cove RV Resort and Marina. This reviewer's profound gratitude and intention to "pay it forward" speak volumes about the positive impact of the staff's kindness.
However, one reviewer does point out two minor considerations for potential guests. The first is the occurrence of "loud mowing noises coming from the next door on Thursdays." This appears to be a recurring issue on Thursdays and could potentially disrupt the peace and quiet for some guests during the day. If tranquility is a top priority, particularly on Thursdays, this is something to be aware of.
The second consideration is the requirement of obtaining "permission" to set up a tent. The reviewer expressed surprise that a campground would not allow tents without management approval. Therefore, if you are planning to stay in a tent rather than an RV, it is crucial to inquire about the resort's policy and obtain the necessary permission in advance to avoid any inconvenience upon arrival. Despite this, the reviewer still concludes that the resort is a "great and safe space for relaxing, fishing, and lighting up a fire!"
For dining options, one reviewer highly recommends "Mel's River Pub," suggesting that there is a noteworthy restaurant in the vicinity of the RV resort. This could be a convenient and enjoyable option for meals outside of your RV.

Port Cove RV Resort and Marina Reviews
Great place for relaxing and spending time away from the city! I've been there three times throughout the last year and I fall in love all over again when I go there! Everyone is so nice and kind there! The staff are great and have a good response. The nature there is Beautiful on the water! George Lack is such a peaceful place to sit at and relax even meditate too! There are only two little things you should consider. The first is some mowing loud mowing noises coming from the next door on Thursdays. I've been there two Thursdays and there are the same mowing noises most of the day! The second thing you should know is you need a permeation to set up a tent! I was surprised that a campground doesn't allow tents until you get the management's approval. So if you are thinking of staying in a tent you may ask for permission. All over,it is a great and safe space for relaxing, fishing, and lighting up a fire!A highly recommended restaurant there is Mel's River Pub.
Mar 14, 2025 · miray dayoubNot only is this rv resort beautiful and clean, I also cannot say enough about Yoania and her staff! They went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were taken care of. I flew down to Florida from Indiana to take care of my dad (who stays here during the winter) who had emergency by-pass heart surgery. She responded immediately to my messages and contacted me at least once a day to check on myself and my dad and reminded me that her staff was there to provide any help we would need once we brought my dad home from the hospital. Her staff intercepted our Amazon packages, took care of our motorhome while we were in the hospital and helped my dad with anything he needed once we brought him home. She also allowed my sister and I to use the facilities while we were taking care of him. The generosity was never ending. I will forever be grateful for their care for myself and my parents. Everyone was top notch! We will be paying it forward.

Apr 29, 2025 · Terri Scott⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“Absolutely Amazing Stay!”We had such a wonderful time at Port Cove RV Resort! From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The gated property felt safe and secure, and being right on the water was just the cherry on top. We stayed in a river-view spot, which was totally worth it! It felt like stepping into a little documentary every time we walked outside—the views were breathtaking, and sitting by the water was incredibly relaxing.Plus, having a great restaurant right next door made the experience even better. Excellent service, stunning views, and a true hidden gem! Highly recommend Port Cove RV Resort for anyone looking for a peaceful waterfront escape.
