Quest RV Park

4.0
This is a new RV Campground (opened a year) that is continually being added on to. My husband was working a job at the Blue Oval Plant in Glendale so so we stayed at this campground from May-December. For the area (Nolan River is just up the road, very busy during the summer) rates are reasonably priced and includes $100 of electric. Anything over you pay. We only went over once during the summer and it was only an extra $11.51. We have a 40' 5th wheel that has two air conditioners. The majority of the campground is all gravel and when pulling your rig in a 4 wheel drive is needed as it's up hill. They now have a playground for younger kids (not for teenagers) and my kiddos really enjoyed it. There is a small dog run available for anyone with pets. They have newly installed Wi-Fi (Starlink) that worked intermittently at night. I never checked into why or notified the owners of this as I used my Verizon hotspot out of habit and it being easier for me. My neighbor said the Wi-Fi worked fine for them. The owners are very responsive, friendly and on top of things! When they opened the playground they threw a little party for the kiddos and had popsicles and candy bags for them. They even threw a Open House party for the campers and provided all the food, drinks and even had some small giveaways which was such a thoughtful thing to do and a great way to get to know others staying there as well. The only reason I gave this campground 4 stars was because there was no picnic tables or fire rings at campsite. This was a major drawback for us as we love to grill, roast marshmallows and enjoy sitting outside. I homeschool and we love doing our work outside enjoying the weather and we couldn't do that. The no picnic table was a major bummer for us. If it would allow me I'd give it 4 1/2 stars but its 4 or 5.They do have two fire pits down below by playground with chairs but it just wasn't convienent for us. It was more for camp gatherings then for a family wanting to grill dinner and sit and enjoy each others company. The Cons:.(these circumstances are out of owners control so had no effect on my rating of this campground) Just more of an FYI.During the summer the flies were horrible!! Not sure if its just Kentucky in general or because of the ponds at the campground. Highly, highly recommend fly traps outside!Mice come fall was horrible!! We were right next to the treeline/woods so that may have been why. They were getting into our vehicles and 5th wheel. My husband drove his truck daily to work and they were still getting in there. After trapping them my husband doused our vehicles with peppermint oil and inside our camper to keep them out and that seemed to work. Neighbor had a few mice too but others away from the treeline didn't have this problem. All in all for the newness of the campground, the playground and the work they're putting into it (next year putt putt golf for kiddos) I recommend it if ever in the area! - Erica Lamberton

Quest RV Park Introduce

Are you searching for exceptional "RV parks near me" in the heart of Kentucky? Look no further than Quest RV Park, a burgeoning campground located at 837 Ashley Rd, Clarkson, KY 42726, USA. Nestled in a tranquil area near the picturesque Nolin River Lake, Quest RV Park offers a delightful retreat for both short-term and long-term visitors. With its ongoing development and commitment to guest satisfaction, this RV park is quickly becoming a preferred destination for those exploring the natural beauty and local attractions of the region.

Quest RV Park, established approximately a year ago, is continuously expanding its facilities to enhance the guest experience. The park's phone number is (270) 446-2127, and for mobile inquiries, you can reach them at +1 270-446-2127. Whether you are a local resident seeking a weekend escape or a traveler passing through, Quest RV Park provides a comfortable and convenient base for your adventures.

Environment and Location:

The campground boasts a serene setting on a hillside, providing guests with pleasant views of the surrounding trees. Its proximity to Nolin River Lake offers opportunities for boating, fishing, and other water-based recreational activities. The quiet locale ensures a peaceful stay, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. While the immediate surroundings offer natural tranquility, the park also provides convenient access to local points of interest, including the nearby Blue Oval Plant in Glendale, making it an ideal choice for those working in the area or visiting the facility.

Services and Amenities:

Quest RV Park offers reasonably priced rates, which notably include $100 of electricity per month, providing significant value to extended-stay guests. For those with larger RVs, such as 40' fifth wheels with dual air conditioning units, the park can accommodate your needs, although it's worth noting that the majority of the campground features gravel sites, and four-wheel drive may be necessary for navigating some of the uphill terrain when pulling in your rig.

Recognizing the importance of connectivity, Quest RV Park has recently installed Starlink Wi-Fi. While one guest reported intermittent service at night, another neighbor experienced reliable connectivity. This suggests that the Wi-Fi service is generally functional, offering guests the ability to stay connected during their visit.

For families traveling with children, Quest RV Park features a newly built playground designed for younger kids. This amenity provides a safe and fun space for children to play and burn off energy. Additionally, the park offers a small dog run, catering to guests who travel with their beloved pets. This dedicated area allows dogs to exercise and socialize in a secure environment.

While individual campsites currently do not have picnic tables or fire rings, Quest RV Park provides two communal fire pits located near the playground. These communal areas are equipped with chairs and offer a space for campers to gather, socialize, and enjoy a campfire. However, as noted by a guest, these may not be as convenient for families wanting to grill dinner or have a private campfire experience at their specific site.

Features and Highlights:

One of the standout features of Quest RV Park is the exceptional hospitality of the owners. Guests consistently praise their responsiveness, friendliness, and attentiveness to the needs of campers. The owners are actively involved in creating a welcoming community atmosphere. This was evident in the small playground opening party they hosted for the children, complete with popsicles and candy bags, as well as an Open House party for all campers, featuring complimentary food, drinks, and even small giveaways. These thoughtful gestures highlight the owners' commitment to fostering a positive and engaging environment for their guests.

Looking towards the future, Quest RV Park has exciting plans for further development, including the addition of a putt-putt golf course for children next year. This ongoing investment in amenities demonstrates the park's dedication to providing a fun and enjoyable experience for families.

Important Considerations:

Based on guest feedback, there are a couple of environmental factors to be aware of. During the summer months, some guests experienced a significant presence of flies. It's advisable to bring or consider using fly traps to mitigate this issue. Additionally, during the fall, mice were reported in the vicinity of campsites located near the treeline/woods. Guests staying in these areas may want to take preventative measures. However, it's important to note that these conditions were acknowledged by the reviewer as being largely outside of the owners' control and did not detract from their overall positive rating of the campground.

Promotional Information and Why Choose Quest RV Park:

Quest RV Park offers a unique blend of natural beauty, essential services, and a strong sense of community. Its convenient location near Nolin River Lake and the Blue Oval Plant makes it an ideal choice for various travelers. The inclusion of a generous electricity allowance in the monthly rates provides excellent value for extended stays. The ongoing development of amenities, such as the playground and the future putt-putt golf course, underscores the park's commitment to enhancing the guest experience.

The exceptional hospitality of the owners truly sets Quest RV Park apart. Their proactive engagement with guests, from hosting social events to being readily available to address any concerns, creates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. While individual campsites may currently lack picnic tables and fire rings, the communal fire pits offer a gathering space for campers.
