However, the publicly available reviews paint a concerning picture regarding the management and overall living experience at this community.
When evaluating a potential long-term living environment, especially in a manufactured housing community, it is crucial to consider the experiences shared by current and former residents. Online reviews can provide valuable, albeit sometimes subjective, insights into the management practices and the overall atmosphere of a community. The reviews available for Red Run Park Manufactured Housing Community raise serious allegations of mismanagement and harassment.
One reviewer describes an initially positive interaction with the manager, who they found to be "sweet as sugar" until personal information was obtained. Following this, the reviewer alleges a series of unexpected charges and increases in fees, such as charges for a driveway and an increased rent due to having a yard, which were supposedly not disclosed initially. This lack of transparency and the subsequent unexpected charges are significant concerns for potential residents as they can impact the financial stability and predictability of living expenses.
Furthermore, this reviewer recounts an incident involving their dog, a "9 lb happy boy," who allegedly got loose. The reviewer claims that the manager accused the dog of threatening to bite, which they dispute based on the dog's temperament. This incident suggests potential issues with how the management interacts with residents regarding pets and enforces community rules.
Another reviewer uses strong language to describe their experience, alleging that they were "constantly harass" by the management. They go so far as to advise others to "record your conversations and start videoing" and to "call the police for harassment as well." These are serious allegations that indicate a potentially hostile living environment and a breakdown in communication and respectful interaction between management and residents.
Perhaps the most concerning review comes from an individual who states they have not lived at Red Run Park since 2019, yet claims they were still being "harass" as of the review date, which includes an edit made on December 24, 2024. This former resident details attempts by the management to evict them in 2021/2022 and to sue them for back rent allegedly owed between August 2022 and June 2023 – years after they had moved out. The reviewer states that a judge oversaw both the eviction attempt and the civil suit and ultimately dismissed both cases, finding the reviewer "not liable" for the back rent. This account raises serious questions about the management's record-keeping, legal practices, and treatment of former residents. The reviewer explicitly warns others to "please believe me" regarding their experiences and threatens to file a civil suit for harassment if further action is taken against them.
The consistency of the negative themes across these reviews – including allegations of harassment, unexpected and potentially unjustified charges, and even legal actions against former residents – paints a troubling picture of the management practices at Red Run Park Manufactured Housing Community. While these are individual accounts, the seriousness of the allegations warrants significant caution for anyone considering residing in this community.
Given the nature of the information available, it is impossible to provide a positive introduction regarding the environment, services, or features of Red Run Park. The overwhelming sentiment from these reviews focuses on negative interactions with the management and potential financial and legal issues. There is no information provided about amenities, community spaces, or the physical environment of the park itself.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering a longer-term stay in a manufactured housing community, Red Run Park Manufactured Housing Community should be approached with extreme caution based on the publicly available feedback. The allegations of harassment, unexpected charges, and legal issues raise significant red flags about the management's professionalism and ethics. Prospective residents would need to conduct an extremely thorough due diligence process, potentially including seeking legal advice and attempting to speak with multiple current residents to gain a broader understanding of the current living conditions and management practices.
It is important to note that these reviews do not provide a complete picture of the community. There may be residents who have had positive experiences or who have not encountered these issues. However, the severity and consistency of the problems raised in the available reviews cannot be ignored and should be a primary consideration for anyone thinking about living at Red Run Park Manufactured Housing Community.
In conclusion, the publicly available reviews for Red Run Park Manufactured Housing Community in Madison Heights, Michigan, raise serious concerns about the management practices, including allegations of harassment, unexpected financial burdens, and questionable legal actions. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term residency in this area should be aware of these accounts and exercise extreme caution when considering this community. Thorough investigation and direct engagement with current residents and legal counsel are strongly recommended before making any decisions about residing at Red Run Park.

May 23, 2024 · Cindy PallayThey constantly harass you. I advise everyone to record your conversations and start videoing. Also, call the police for harassment as well.I have not lived here since 2019 and they are STILL harassing me.Edited 12/24/2024 to add: please believe me. I have not lived here for over 5 years at this point and they have still tried to evict me in 2021/2022, and tried to sue me for back rent that was owed 8/2022-6/2023. The judge (who oversaw the eviction and the civil suit) saw through what they were trying to do and dismissed both cases against me.I added a pic of part of the letter from the court that found me not liable for what they were suing me for.If they try to do anything else against me, believe me, I will file a civil suit for harassment.
Dec 24, 2024 · Kaytlin HI thought all was well. Did alot of google play charges on my cc statement. Then started having water on the carpet. Doing a walk about w the ins adjuster. I thought cable was being stolen. lnformed the prop mgr. (I live in a trailer park) The maintence man came out. Said it was from my pets. (wrong answer) to be continued.....
Jul 05, 2024 · Cindy PallayUnfortunately I have had to amend my review, as it seems the bad review I ignored moving in - is actually the correct one - so buyer beware!! 😱Sadly this is a highly corrupt & greedy company, and they absolutely prey on low-income people. They will move you in on a good deal, even knowing you are on a fixed income - then continually raise your rates till you no longer can afford your lot rent, and then take your trailer when they put you out on the street. That is the kind of people running this company - you have been warned! 🤔After knowingly moving me in on disability with a fixed income, in 3 years time my lot rent has gone up $100; and going into the 4th year now, they are raising it another $50 - at this point not only aware that I have been going without food just to make their previous increases, but also that I will no longer be able to afford my bills at all now - choosing to cause one person to go without food/shelter, so that they can have a few more sips of their favorite brand of champagne.... deplorable really.
Aug 16, 2022 · PayneMastrFlexRhey look good in pictures but not when you actually go to see it in person. The trailers are TREMENDOUSLY SMALL!!! Even 1 person alone in a 3bdrm here would feel cramped up. The trailers are ran down/worn out badly. Only a few trailers look newer which still doesn't help the view in here. The yards don't look good nor clean. This park really puts the trailer trash into definition. Sadly, it truly does. This ain't the only one though, but you'd think for how small these trailers are & the lack of maintenance these trailers here would be priced right. Heck no they aren't they are incredibly expensive. The only thing good seems to be the park which don't look all that good & wouldn't ever send my kids to it nope no thank ya & the pool which doesn't seem to ever have people in it. At all. Whenever I visit here I cringe. I am in the middle of the pandemic still trying to get my best friend out of here. Soon I can only hope!
