Rio Viento RV Park Reviews
Rio Vento is a quiet and peaceful place and very clean. It has bathrooms and showers. Our dogs liked the dog area. Our stay was very good, I recommend it.
Jan 03, 2025 · GilVery clean and quiet RV park. All sites are done with pavers and level. Hosts are very nice, friendly and accommodating. The park is gated on the Sacramento River. It can get a bit windy at times. Didn’t use the restrooms or showers, but everything is very clean. The road leading to the Park is a levee road and very bumpy so go slow. It is located in between Sacramento and the Bay Area. Easy access to both. Will definitely come back as we have family in the area
Sep 18, 2024 · Linda KetchersidBeautifully maintained, quiet RV park. The RV spots are paved and have lots of space between sites. The staff are so kind, welcoming, and friendly. I have loved my stay here. The location is a bit off the beaten path but it is still pretty close to Napa, Sacramento, and San Fransisco. The views of the river, palm trees, and Mount Diablo are gorgeous!
Sep 25, 2024 · Kelly HughesBeen here on and off for the past two years. If you're looking for a family packed vacation spot filled with endless amenities.. it's not for you. You will give it one star.If you're a travel nurse, journey men, lines men, retiree who just want to have quiet in the Bay Area etc etc. It's a perfect little slice of heaven on the Sacramento River. The Cons:Yes it's on a levee road.. so it is a tough road coming in. The park itself has beautiful spots that are well kept. I wouldn't recommend staying here in the peak of summer if you're not ready to spend a little extra on ac as there is not a lot of shade. Pg&E is tough out here but the park charges you what they pay, which is fair. You're not paying extra on top. If you hate the wind... 4/5 months out of the year it's breezy. Wind surfers oasis. I'm from the east coast so some hurricane wind is what I have in comparison. It's not that bad. But if you've never been around wind before it might scare you.The Pros:After a long day of work (nurse) I come home to a beautiful sunset, kind neighbors (never have felt unsafe and I feel like we all look out for each other), QUIET, a beautiful river you can fish on and just live in a bubble to block out one of the busiest areas in the US, its the spot for you. The complaints are from people who were looking for your typical RV park with lots to do. Yes, you have to cross a toll bridge (CA built it not the RV park so lets not complain) and drive 25 min into for groceries- but your trade off is peace and quiet. You're paying for being in the middle of everything and nowhere. You're 45 min from Napa, hour 15 to Muir Woods, 30 from Lodi, 25 min from Brentwood, in the middle of one of the most diverse agricultural sites, one hour from Sacramento, 20 minutes from the closest BART station (yellow line- Antioch) that you can take, 35 min from Walnut Creek (usually where I park and go into the city) an hour-hour half (depending where you go) into the city and spend time in SF.This park is great! A little dog run for your dog (sand) and a beautiful view of Mt. Diablo.Love this park and it is my home away from home when I'm on the road working. Also: they do have a lot of rules but they, to me, are pretty common sense. They had to write them on paper for those who weren't raised with common sense. It's private property, they want to keep it nice. When you open your own RV park you'll have rules too.
Sep 25, 2024 · NAN NAZDAThis park is very well managed, clean and quiet. We are just about to check out after a month here and it's been a great stay. Large dog park is nice and there is nice green grass around each unit. Very manicured. Management is responsive and friendly. The 2.5 mile levee road is tough, but also why it's clean and quiet, likely.Don't bother with your awnings though, it's always about 20-30mph winds cutting across!
