River Dance RV Resort Introduce
River Dance RV Resort, situated at 6700 US-6, Gypsum, CO 81637, USA, offers a location along the scenic Eagle River, making it a potentially attractive option for those searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Gypsum, Colorado area. According to customer reviews, River Dance caters to both nightly campers and those seeking a location for full-time RV living. The park appears to be undergoing significant changes and improvements, which could enhance its appeal in the future.
One long-term resident, who has been at River Dance for nearly four years, notes that they have witnessed many changes and believe the park is "getting a lot better." They also mention that the planned improvements are expected to make it a "pretty good resort for everybody" and encourage potential visitors to check back to see the anticipated positive transformations. This suggests that River Dance RV Resort is actively working to upgrade its facilities and overall experience for its guests.
The location of River Dance RV Resort on the Eagle River is consistently highlighted as a significant advantage. The natural beauty of the riverfront setting likely provides a serene and picturesque environment for residents and visitors. This prime location in the Colorado Rockies offers opportunities for enjoying the outdoors, although specific details about direct river access or related amenities are not provided in the reviews.
However, another reviewer expresses concerns regarding the cost of lot rental, describing it as "absolutely overpriced." This perspective suggests that while the location is appealing, the pricing may be a deterrent for some. This reviewer also points out a current limitation: the absence of a dump station within the RV park. This is a crucial amenity for RV travelers, particularly those staying for longer periods, and its lack could influence the decision-making process for potential guests. The reviewer advises those looking for a spot to consider options further west, where affordability might be greater.
Furthermore, the same reviewer mentions that River Dance RV Resort is currently being "overhauled for tiny homes." This indicates a significant shift in the park's focus and infrastructure development. The transition to accommodate tiny homes could have implications for the availability and nature of RV sites in the future. Potential RVers, especially those with larger rigs or specific needs, should inquire about the long-term plans for the park and how they might affect RV accommodations.
Considering the information available, River Dance RV Resort presents a mixed picture. On one hand, its location on the Eagle River is undoubtedly a major draw, and ongoing improvements suggest a positive trajectory for the resort's future. The fact that it caters to both short-term and long-term stays indicates a versatile offering. On the other hand, concerns about pricing and the current lack of a dump station are significant drawbacks. The ongoing overhaul to accommodate tiny homes also introduces uncertainty for the future of RV-specific amenities and site availability.
For local users searching for 'RV parks near me' in Gypsum, Colorado, River Dance RV Resort warrants consideration, particularly if the planned improvements address the current shortcomings. Those seeking nightly camping might find the riverside location appealing, provided they are aware of the lack of an on-site dump station. Full-time RVers should weigh the reported high rental costs against the desirable location and potential future enhancements. It would be prudent to contact River Dance RV Resort directly at (970) 400-7078 or +1 970-400-7078 to inquire about current pricing for both nightly and long-term RV stays, the timeline and specifics of the planned improvements, the availability of a dump station (or plans for one), and the details of the transition to accommodate tiny homes.
Potential visitors should also inquire about other amenities typically expected at an RV resort, such as hookups (water, electricity, sewer), Wi-Fi access, laundry facilities, restrooms, and any recreational areas. Understanding the full range of services and facilities available will help in making an informed decision. It would also be beneficial to ask about the impact of the tiny home development on the existing RV sites and the overall atmosphere of the resort.
In conclusion, River Dance RV Resort in Gypsum, Colorado, offers a potentially attractive location along the Eagle River and is reportedly undergoing improvements that could enhance its appeal. It serves both nightly campers and full-time RV residents. However, potential guests should be aware of reported high rental costs and the current absence of a dump station. The ongoing transition to accommodate tiny homes is another factor to consider, as it may influence the future availability and nature of RV sites. Direct communication with the resort management is essential to obtain the most current information on pricing, amenities, and the progress of the planned improvements. Local users searching for 'RV parks near me' should weigh the scenic location and future potential against the current limitations and costs before making a decision.

River Dance RV Resort Reviews
RiverDance is a great option for nightly camping or full timing. We’ve been here for almost 4 years and have seen a lot of changes believe me it’s getting a lot better. Their plan for improvements are going to make this a pretty good resort for everybody. Check back soon. I’m sure it’ll look a very different.
Apr 05, 2025 · TopRung WindowCleaningThe rent for a lot is absolutely overpriced. It is in a beautiful location on the Eagle River. There is no dump station and the place is being overhauled for tiny homes at the moment. Any one looking for a spot I would encourage to go further west where it is more affordable, remember the more your charged the less you have to spend on the things you love to do.
Apr 13, 2025 · Terry JacksonSuper small spot but they are working on expanding. Gorgeous views of the mountains and the river. They are going to be adding other features but it is an awesome place to stay!
May 02, 2025 · Kyle MeinelAbsolutely the worst place we've ever stayed. They didn't tell us it was under construction, and our site was next to a pit and full of construction trash, and had been sprayed with pesticides so a sign said our dog or children couldn't be outside. We checked in online and never received a bathroom code or wifi. I went to the office in the morning and there was no one. It's right next to the highway and is basically a parking lot.
Jul 28, 2024 · CarissaThis place has a ton of promise that is being realized. Already the bathrooms are clean. Some the sites could be made a bit more level, but all and all not bad.The owner definitely cares and is expanding with a promise to plant more trees. And that, as RVers know, means a lot. They also have a truck spraying water that keeps down the dust (from the improvements)! The staff did make a concerted effort to address a situation that arose. As a small business owner that meant a lot to me. I also think we should all give each other a break even when things go side ways. Finally, they have several service members renting places so it's good to see them supporting our military members.BL, I will be coming back to see the improvements next year.
