Windsor Park Homes Introduce
Located at 1800 Windsor Dr, Newton, KS 67114, USA, Windsor Park Homes is listed under the category of "RV parks near me," suggesting it may offer spaces for recreational vehicles in addition to potentially serving as a mobile home park. However, based on the limited but concerning information available from online reviews, prospective residents should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering this location.
The environment at Windsor Park Homes, according to recent reviews, appears to be facing significant challenges related to safety and maintenance. One alarming review details an incident where a trailer burned up, and fire trucks reportedly had difficulty accessing the site due to cars parked on the street. This raises serious concerns about emergency access and the overall safety regulations or enforcement within the park. The reviewer explicitly states that it is "not a safe place."
Adding to these safety concerns, the same review provides a critical update indicating that, as of July 2023, the burned-up trailer had not been removed and contained trash both inside and outside. This lack of remediation over an extended period points to significant neglect in property maintenance and potentially a disregard for the health and safety of the community. The reviewer further mentions that the owner is being taken to court to address these issues but has reportedly not been attending court dates, suggesting a lack of cooperation or responsibility from the management.
Corroborating the concerns about the environment and upkeep, a resident from the neighborhood reported "frequent visits from the Newton Police to the area" and noted that the park "doesn't look like it is kept up very well." Frequent police presence can be indicative of underlying issues within a community that may impact the safety and well-being of its residents. The observation about poor maintenance aligns with the report of the unremoved burned trailer and general neglect.
Given the severely negative feedback regarding safety and maintenance, it is difficult to objectively assess the typical services one might expect from an RV or mobile home park at Windsor Park Homes. Generally, such parks offer basic utilities (water, sewer, electricity), road maintenance, and waste management. However, the reported lack of general upkeep and the serious safety incident suggest that even these basic services may be compromised or unreliable at this location. The absence of any positive reviews or information about amenities further underscores the potential issues.
The features that typically attract individuals to RV or mobile home parks, such as affordability, community, or temporary accommodation for travelers, are overshadowed by the significant safety and maintenance problems highlighted in the reviews for Windsor Park Homes. The reported difficulties with emergency services access, the presence of hazards like a burned-out and unremoved trailer, and the frequent police visits all detract from any potential benefits of residing at this location. The lack of upkeep also suggests that the aesthetic and functional aspects of the park are likely to be poor.
Currently, there is absolutely no promotional information available for Windsor Park Homes in the provided text. In light of the serious negative feedback and the apparent state of disrepair and safety concerns, it is highly improbable that any positive promotions would outweigh the risks associated with this location. Any potential cost savings would likely be negated by the compromised living conditions and safety hazards.
In conclusion, based on the extremely concerning information available from online reviews, Windsor Park Homes in Newton, Kansas, appears to be a location that potential residents should avoid. The reports of a trailer fire with impeded emergency access, the prolonged presence of a hazardous unremoved burned trailer, the frequent police visits, and the general observation of poor maintenance paint a picture of an unsafe and poorly managed environment. For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Windsor Park Homes does not seem to offer a viable or safe living option. Prospective residents are strongly advised to seek alternative accommodations or residential communities that prioritize safety, maintenance, and the well-being of their inhabitants. The severity of the issues reported suggests that Windsor Park Homes may not meet even the most basic standards of a habitable and safe living environment.
The ongoing legal action against the owner for remediation further indicates the seriousness of the problems at Windsor Park Homes. The owner's reported failure to appear in court suggests a continued lack of responsibility in addressing these critical issues. This situation underscores the significant risks associated with considering Windsor Park Homes as a place to live, whether for temporary RV stays or as a permanent mobile home resident. The safety and well-being of oneself and one's family should be the paramount concern when choosing a place to live, and the available information strongly suggests that Windsor Park Homes does not meet these fundamental requirements.

Windsor Park Homes Reviews
Trailer #5 recently burned up. Fire trucks had a hard time getting through with all the cars parked on the street. Not a safe place. UPDATE: July 2023. Burned up trailer has not been removed. Trash inside and outside. Owner is being taken to court to remediate and is not showing up for court dates. Don't come here.
