River Glenn Estates Introduce
For local users in Fresno, Ohio, and those searching for "RV parks near me" in the vicinity, River Glenn Estates, located at 23601 OH-93, Fresno, OH 43824, USA, presents a location with both notable advantages and potential drawbacks based on recent customer reviews. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park's environment, services, and features as described by those who have experienced it.
One review offers a contrasting perspective based on a change in ownership. It mentions that under previous ownership (referred to as "Bob"), the park was considered "awesome." However, with the new ("Canadian") ownership, the reviewer expresses a strongly negative opinion, advising others to stay away and recommending a nearby KOA instead. The criticisms are directed towards the "terrible management" and "terrible people that don’t stick to their word whatsoever." This viewpoint highlights a significant potential concern for prospective residents regarding the current management practices and overall experience at River Glenn Estates.
In contrast, another, seemingly older review paints a more positive picture of River Glenn Estates. This reviewer describes it as a "great place," particularly noting its proximity to Coshocton, which could be a significant advantage for those wanting easy access to the amenities and attractions of that city. The park is described as having "a lot of grass for picnics with the kids and room to play," suggesting a family-friendly environment with open spaces for recreation. The policy of allowing pets on leashes is also mentioned as a positive aspect, catering to travelers with furry companions, with the caveat that owners are expected to follow the rules.
This positive review also provides valuable information about the park's amenities. It mentions the addition of a laundry facility with "new washers and dryers as of 2017," which would be a significant convenience for longer-term RV stays. However, it explicitly states that there are "no restrooms or showers" available within the park. This is a crucial piece of information for RVers, as they would need to rely on their own on-board facilities for these necessities.
The location of River Glenn Estates directly on a river is highlighted as a feature. The reviewer notes that despite its riverside location, they have "never known the camp to flood," which could be reassuring for those concerned about potential water-related issues. In terms of utilities, the park offers "great electric solid 50/30 and 110" amp service, indicating reliable power connections for various RV types. Additionally, "great city water" with "awesome" pressure is mentioned, suggesting a good water supply for residents.
Regarding pricing, the positive review from the past indicates a monthly rate of $600. It also mentions the availability of cable television for an extra charge ($58.00 for 120 channels). Furthermore, the park reportedly has "some trailers for rent," although the prices for these are not specified. This suggests that while primarily an RV and mobile home park, rental units might also be an option for some.
A significant positive aspect mentioned in the older review is the park's policy regarding unused lot rent and deposits. The reviewer states that they "never had a problem with them returning your unused Lot rent and deposit" and that it was "always paid in full the moment you leave." This indicates a fair and transparent practice regarding financial transactions upon departure, at least under the previous management.
The contact information provided in the positive review matches the current information, including the address (23601 State Route 93 Fresno, Ohio 43824) and phone number ((740) 545-9141), which was associated with the previous owner, "Bob Nelson." This consistency in contact information, despite the reported change in ownership, might be something to clarify when contacting the park.
Considering the conflicting reviews, local users searching for "RV parks near me" near Fresno, OH, should approach River Glenn Estates with caution and a need for further investigation. The positive aspects highlighted in the older review, such as the proximity to Coshocton, the grassy areas, pet-friendly policy, laundry facilities, reliable utilities, and the riverside location, could be appealing. However, the strong negative feedback regarding the current management cannot be ignored and raises serious concerns about the overall living experience.
Potential RV residents are advised to contact River Glenn Estates directly using the provided phone number to inquire about the current management, rates, amenities (specifically confirming the presence or absence of restrooms and showers for RVers), and policies. It would also be beneficial to seek more recent reviews or testimonials from individuals who have stayed at the park under the new ownership to get a clearer picture of the current environment and management practices. Visiting the park in person, if feasible, could also provide valuable insights into the current conditions and atmosphere.
In conclusion, River Glenn Estates offers a potentially attractive location near Fresno and Coshocton, with features like a riverside setting, pet-friendly policies, and essential utilities. However, a significant negative review concerning the new management creates a considerable element of uncertainty. Local users seeking "RV parks near me" should carefully weigh the positive aspects mentioned in an older review against the serious concerns raised about the current management and conduct thorough due diligence before making a decision about staying at River Glenn Estates.

River Glenn Estates Reviews
When Bob owned this park it was awesome. Now that the Canadian idiots own it, negative. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Beautiful areas and great location, but stay away. Terrible management and terrible people that don’t stick to their word whatsoever. Trust me, save your time and money, go to the KOA just west of here.
Jan 25, 2025 · Matthew ComptonThis is a great place! Very close to Coshockton. The park has a lot of grass for picnics with the kids and room to play. Pets are allowed on leash and owners are super friendly as long as you follow the rules. They’ve just put in a laundry with new washers and dryers as of 2017! No restrooms or showers. It is right on a river but I've never known the camp to flood. Great electric solid 50/30 and 110. Great city water and pressure is awesome.600 a month and they offer cable for a extra charge, I think it was 120 channels for $58.00. They also have some trailers for rent, not sure of the prices though.Never had a problem with them returning your unused Lot rent and deposit. Always paid in full the moment you leave. 🙂Park address and phone number. 23601 State Route 93 Fresno, Ohio 43824 (740) 545-9141 Bob Nelson

Feb 16, 2025 · Ethan HelmickIt's well taken care of. I was taking a puppy that was in the road entrance and I didn't know who the puppy belonged to at first I thought the puppy had gotten hit and was rolling and I come to find out that the poor puppy was rolling and a dead animal but some nice people came along and said they knew who belong to the puppy and so therefore they took the puppy and I'm glad that it wasn't hurt
