Salem Estates RV Park & Storage, located at 4490 Silverton Rd NE, Salem, OR 97305, with phone numbers (503) 364-5490 and +1 503-364-5490, offers both RV parking and storage solutions in the Salem area. To provide local users with a detailed and objective overview, we have analyzed available customer reviews to present a balanced perspective on this facility.
Based on the provided reviews, the environment at Salem Estates RV Park & Storage appears to offer a mix of positive and negative aspects. One long-term resident of three years specifically highlights the "adult side only" of the park as being "very, very quiet" and "so peaceful." This reviewer also praises the friendly atmosphere, noting that "a lot of good people live here" and that there's a sense of community where neighbors "look out for each other." The staff is also described as "nice and friendly." This positive portrayal suggests that for those seeking a tranquil and community-oriented environment, particularly in the designated adult section, Salem Estates might be appealing.
However, another reviewer who stayed for a short period offers a contrasting perspective, describing the park as "pretty run down and mismatched." This suggests that the overall aesthetic and upkeep might not be consistent throughout the entire property. This reviewer also mentioned "kind of fencing around people's areas," which they interpreted as residents considering their spaces as yards. Furthermore, this review raised a significant concern about the presence of "a lot of unsavory characters," which could be a serious consideration for potential residents' safety and comfort.
Regarding the surrounding environment, both positive and negative aspects are mentioned. The long-term resident notes a downside: noise from Silverton Road when cars with modified mufflers drive by, indicating that proximity to the road can lead to noise pollution on certain parts of the property.
In terms of services and features, the positive review provides more specific details. The park boasts a "nice and clean" pool, which is appreciated by residents during the summer. There is also a laundry mat on-site, offering convenience for long-term stays. The availability of separate men's and women's bathrooms and showers is another practical amenity mentioned. This suggests that basic essential facilities are provided for residents and RV guests.
Furthermore, the positive review highlights the "great prices on storage" and "very reasonable" space rent, indicating potential affordability for both RV parking and storage needs. The availability of "big lots" with "a lot of outdoor space" is also a significant feature, especially for those who value having extra room around their RV. The reviewer also mentions "several other sizes" of lots, suggesting flexibility in accommodating different RV sizes and preferences.
The negative review does not provide specific details about the services or features, focusing more on the overall condition and atmosphere of the park.
Currently, there is no explicit promotional information available in the provided reviews. Therefore, local users interested in Salem Estates RV Park & Storage are advised to contact the park directly via the provided phone numbers to inquire about current rates for RV spaces of different sizes, storage unit costs, any ongoing special offers or discounts for long-term stays, and the specific amenities available to RV guests. It would also be beneficial to inquire about the park's policies regarding the adult-only section, security measures in place, and any efforts to address the concerns raised in the less favorable review regarding the park's condition and the presence of "unsavory characters." Asking about typical lot sizes and the availability of hookups (water, electricity, sewer) for RVs would also be essential for prospective residents.
In conclusion, Salem Estates RV Park & Storage in Salem, Oregon, appears to offer a potentially peaceful and community-oriented living experience, particularly within its adult-only section, according to one long-term resident. The park also provides practical amenities such as a pool, laundry facilities, and separate restrooms/showers, along with affordable storage options and reasonably priced, spacious RV lots. However, another review raises concerns about the overall condition of the park and the presence of "unsavory characters," suggesting potential variability in the living experience depending on location within the park and individual perceptions. Additionally, noise from the nearby Silverton Road could be a factor for some sites. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," it is crucial to weigh these contrasting perspectives and directly contact Salem Estates RV Park & Storage to gather current information on pricing, availability, specific amenities, and any measures taken to address the concerns raised in the reviews. A personal visit to the park might also be beneficial to assess the environment and facilities firsthand before making a decision.

Oct 13, 2024 · Laura ShawWell I discovered that even you sign rules for this rv park , I was told to move my camp trailer that was at the back of my motor coach , and others have motor homes behind other motor homes which is still there and campers aren't allowed yet there in this rv park so the rules only apply to some and not to others , suppose to have up to date tags alot don't .According to rules your allowed 2 vehicles to be parked on your ,cars are sticking out in the drive way and I had to call 911 to go to the hospital and the med unit had to park s distance instead of my unit to put me in the ambulance , I also own a Harley and was told by staff member Sandy I couldn't run my Harley for more than 10 minutes and that I had 10 minutes to depart from Salem estates RV park at 3:00 pm , I was threatened by a person living in space next to me about the cameras on my motor home , so to clarify I called sheriff's office and was informed my cameras aren't illegal , they have rules they don't apply to violators who violate the very rules you sign to move inn , instead they go after the one who notifys them of some one violating the rules , the person living next to me has 3 vehicles and I notified the office they do nothing yet if you bring it to the attention of staff they go after you , they have had stolen property from peoples lots I had some one flatten 2 of my tires on my motor home according to the sheriff's department it's private property and its up to Salem estates to monitor the security of there residents and if they don't want motorcycles , mopeds , ATVs on property they need to stipulates that in there rental agreement , I told the sheriff's department that decibel reading is 87.6 on my Harley and was informed by sheriff's department I was at a legal decibel reading for Oregon the staff at this park try to tell you how to control your life , my other half works here in Salem Oregon for a corporation me I'm retired this neglects to look after it's residents there are non residents walking around the park way early in the morning when people are sleeping hince why I have cameras on my motor home .
Mar 25, 2025 · mark woodDo not rent here the management will ruin your life. There is a staff member who is cruel to tenants. Lies on background checks for her personal vendetta and I mean it she has no compassion and will put your kids on the street with glee she is pure evil. They have had to file bankruptcy multiple times do your own research all of this was in public records and findOddly suspicious they file bankruptcy to avoid bills and or lawsuits but then change the ownership to someone in their family. The pool was functional 1 of the 4 years we were there. They take no responsibility for rodent infestation in the storage units so all of your belongings will be destroyed. The storage units do not even have walls that got up to the ceiling so it's easy acess for mickey and his friends. There are people who will hide in the bathrooms and try to watch you shower. Homeless people have been found sleeping in the bathrooms in the morning. Only rent here as a last resort if you have another opportunity take it because living in this trailer park is the worst option. And get a lawyer that handles rv parks too not just landlord Tennant laws.
