As a platform category that includes "RV parks near me," it's important to note that mobile home parks like Shadow Mountain offer a different type of long-term living arrangement compared to the typically shorter stays associated with RV parks.
Based on recent customer feedback, the experience at Shadow Mountain appears to be somewhat varied. One resident expressed overwhelmingly positive sentiments, highlighting the welcoming and supportive nature of the staff, specifically mentioning Misty and Chris. This reviewer also praised the immaculately kept clubhouse and expressed excitement about the new saunas. They further noted the presence of "a ton of amenities" and "great neighbors," contributing to a positive community feel. However, this reviewer did point out a significant concern regarding the numerous and large potholes on the property, which prevented them from giving a full five-star rating.
In contrast, another long-term resident painted a considerably less favorable picture of the current state of Shadow Mountain. This review expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating that the park is "not even worth one star let along five stars anymore." This individual, having lived in the park for several years, indicated that the last few years have been the "worse ever." Their criticisms included the park looking like "trash," poor road conditions, and concerns about speeding drivers within the community. Parking was also a major issue, with complaints about residents having more than two cars, filling up visitor parking, and a lack of parking for guests. Furthermore, this reviewer raised concerns about the behavior of workers driving golf carts, alleging they drive recklessly. The review also mentioned issues with a specific lot having an excessive number of vehicles and residents, potentially obstructing emergency access due to haphazard parking. This long-term resident concluded by expressing disappointment at the decline of what they remembered as a "beautiful 55plus park" that used to be "quite." They also voiced concerns about being harassed by the sales representative for new homes within the park.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it's evident that while Shadow Mountain may offer some appealing aspects, such as a welcoming staff and certain amenities like a clubhouse and new saunas, there are also significant concerns regarding the upkeep of the property, particularly the road conditions, and issues related to parking and internal traffic. The negative review from a long-term resident raises questions about the overall management and the quality of life within the community in recent times.
For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" and considering Shadow Mountain, it would be prudent to weigh these recent experiences carefully. The positive feedback regarding the staff and some of the amenities suggests a potentially pleasant community atmosphere. The mention of a clubhouse and new saunas indicates that there are communal spaces and facilities intended for resident use and enjoyment. However, the serious concerns raised about the deteriorating condition of the park, unsafe driving, and parking problems should not be overlooked.
As there is no specific promotional information provided in the text, it is difficult to comment on any special offers or incentives that Shadow Mountain might be currently advertising. Individuals interested in learning more about living in Shadow Mountain, including potential costs, lot availability, or the new homes mentioned in one of the reviews, should contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers. It would also be beneficial to inquire about the management's plans to address the issues raised in the negative review, such as the potholes and parking situation.
In conclusion, Shadow Mountain is a 55+ mobile home park located in Las Vegas. While some residents have experienced a welcoming environment with friendly staff and access to amenities like a clubhouse and saunas, there are also significant concerns about the park's maintenance, safety regarding internal traffic, and parking availability. Potential residents should consider these contrasting viewpoints and conduct thorough due diligence, including a visit to the property, to assess if Shadow Mountain meets their individual needs and expectations for a mobile home park community.

Shadow Mountain Reviews
Misty and Chris, all the staff here have been more than welcoming and supportive and caring. The clubhouse is immaculate and I cannot wait to try out the new saunas!!! Would have given 5 stars but for one small issue I’ve noticed, potholes, a lot of them and large, otherwise great property, managed by the best, with a ton of amenities and great neighbors. Thank you

Apr 29, 2025 · coree lambertMy name is Pat and I am 80 years old. I have lived at Shadow Mountain about 20 years. I come to the clubhouse for Bingo and other gatherings. We have recently gotten a therapy service dog named Bella in the clubhouse. She is gentle sweet and is a joy to be around She has been an absolute God send. We all have come to depend on her for comfort and happiness. Thank you.
