Based on feedback from residents, Shadow Wood Valley Mobile Home appears to offer a generally positive living experience. One review from former residents who lived in the park for three years highlights a favorable impression of the community and specifically praises the manager, Jerry, noting his kindness and lack of issues during their tenancy. However, this review also mentions a past problem with neighbors bringing non-residents into the park who were involved in theft, specifically of gasoline.
In contrast, a more recent review expresses strong satisfaction with the park. The current residents state that they "love this park" and commend the management for being "real nice" and generally non-intrusive, allowing residents to live peacefully as long as they maintain their property and pay their lot rent. Notably, this positive review also mentions an ongoing improvement project: "they are paving all the drive ways!" This suggests that the park is actively investing in its infrastructure, which can be a significant benefit for residents.
When considering mobile home parks listed under the category of "RV Parks Near Me," it's important to differentiate between short-term recreational vehicle sites and long-term residential communities. Shadow Wood Valley Mobile Home, based on its name and the nature of the reviews, clearly caters to the latter. The sense of community, the responsiveness of management, and the ongoing maintenance and improvements are key factors to consider for long-term living.
The positive remarks about the management at Shadow Wood Valley, particularly the description of them being "real nice" and respecting residents' privacy, can be a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful living environment. Knowing that management is approachable and addresses concerns appropriately contributes to a positive community atmosphere. The mention of driveway paving further indicates a commitment to maintaining and enhancing the park's infrastructure, which can improve the overall quality of life for residents.
However, the past issue with theft, while seemingly not a current problem based on the more recent review, serves as a reminder of the importance of community safety and the measures in place to address such issues. Prospective residents might want to inquire about current security protocols or community watch initiatives to ensure a safe living environment.
For local users exploring "RV Parks Near Me" for mobile home living, Shadow Wood Valley Mobile Home presents a mixed but generally positive picture based on the available reviews. The park seems to be under stable management that is well-regarded by current residents, and ongoing improvements suggest a commitment to the community's upkeep. The past issue with non-resident activity leading to theft is something to be aware of, although it's unclear if this remains a concern.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Shadow Wood Valley Mobile Home, prospective residents should consider visiting the location to assess the environment and the progress of the driveway paving. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could provide further insights into the day-to-day living experience and any recent changes or initiatives within the park. Inquiring about lot rent, community rules, and available amenities would also be crucial steps in the decision-making process.
In conclusion, Shadow Wood Valley Mobile Home in Princeton, WV, appears to be a residential mobile home park with generally positive feedback regarding its management and ongoing infrastructure improvements. While a past security concern was noted, current residents express satisfaction with the management's approach and the overall living environment. Shadow Wood Valley Mobile Home Reviews
My husband and I lived here 3 years before moving. We liked the park and we really liked the manager Jerry. He was not a problem to us and was kind. We did have a problem with the neighbors up the street bringing around young people that didn't live in the park and they would steal people's gas.
Apr 20, 2018 · Kendra SevertWe love this park. The management has always been real nice to us. They pretty much leave you alone. Keep your property clean and pay your lot rent and you dont ever see them. Also they are paving all the drive ways!
Dec 14, 2017 · Catrina AistropLotta rundown mobile homes in the park and a lot that are abandoned and need to be removed. Not good.
Aug 25, 2024 · Kathy WhiteMy son just rented there and Jerry seems very nice my wife told me. Hope he likes it at least he is pretty close to shopping and jobs
Dec 12, 2019 · Benwood KesnerThe management are very hateful and treat people like dogs and he will not allow u to speech when he's around. Seems to me and many others he acts superior to others.
