Shamrock Mobile Home Community Reviews
I have lived in Shamrock Mobile Home Community for 17 years and love it here. Alan, our new manager since March, is doing a fantastic job of keeping our park nice. He is always professional, pleasant and helpful to work with, even when he has to remind us of any rules we might be violating! This is a terrific place to live, and if you ever get the chance to buy a home in here, I recommend you do it.
Dec 20, 2022 · Marie EddySo glad to have Alan as our new manager after John left to manage another park in San Diego. John was nice and recommended Alan because of his experience fixing and helping people in need. Alan has made sure that the park is kept in beautiful and safe shape and making sure that rules are followed to keep us in the number one standing that Shamrock Mobile Home Park is.
Dec 15, 2022 · Denna MartinI have decided to change my 1 star review to a 4 star review because I feel that I judged the park solely based off of the park managers horrendous public relations skills. Shamrock Park has always been a lovely community that I have been a part of since my first visit to see my great Auntie Dot in the early 80's. Since then, I have done many jobs for different tenants over the years such as; simple yard work, screen replacement, building and installing custom steps, rebuilding entire porches, relocating sheds, replumbing entire homes, and the list goes on but that's besides the point. The point is, that aside from the occasional nosy neighbor not liking how noisy my truck is or complaining that 8 o'clock p.m. is too late to be wrapping up working, my opinion of the Park has always been 5 stars. That is, right up until Alan recently took over as Park manager. I see that tenants of the Park have made recent reviews to compensate for my poor review and are singing Alan's praises. Well, Alan cost the Park thier fifth star in my review because the very first time I met Alan and the first words he ever said to me, or I should say yelled at me, was, "Hey you, you can't sleep here!" I thought he was a tenant that I hadn't met yet with an odd sense of humor so I chuckled and said I had no intention of sleeping there (I was in the middle of a semi emergency call, it was too hot to close a window and the mosquitos were finding thier way in through a damaged screen). Alan then proceeded to shine his flashlight in my eyes and all around and inside of my truck. Point being it was extremely rude. I live on a 5 acre ranch that nearly borders Shamrock, I can actually see Alan's home from my property but even if I had actually been homeless, as I suspect Alan was assuming, and was looking for a place to stay, his approach was by far the wrong approach. Since then, I have had several negative experiences with Alan. He even went so far as to harass my clients and demand that they not hire me back. Not only was that an attempt to deprive me of an honest living but it is a despicable action on his part and is only the tip of the iceberg that demonstrates his poor character. Not to mention, I had been serving clients in the park long before Alan became Park manager and I suspect before he even moved into the Park. I could go on and on with examples of why Alan is a detriment to the Park but instead, I'll end here with, the Park and community are of the finest in the area. However, as I have made clear there is a recent detriment to the Park and for any prospective buyers I suggest you think hard about what the conditions under an abusive, power hungry, obnoxiously rude Park manager will be like. Park managers generally poses enough rights that they can semi legally make tenant living conditions unbearable. I would offer insight into the abilities Alan has to do this but when I requested a copy of the Park rules and regulations, Alan refused to provide me with one, stating that his word alone was enough. To all of the current tenants, I hope you all may be as lucky as these few that are singing Alan's praises, that is if they are being truthful. The above stated account of my experience with the park, the community, and with Alan are based on my real life experiences and are an accurate account of my interactions, experiences, opinions, and facts.
May 19, 2023 · Darin DuVanderMy Grandma just moved into a Mew Remanufactured Home in the park. The house is in the perfect location. All her surrounding neighbors are so adorable, very polite, and gave her and our family a warm welcoming as we were getting her settled into her house. The Park is Immaculate, very well maintained, Everyone’s yards are spectacular, it’s super quite, and Prestige. This is hands down the best Mobile Home Park in Windsor and Santa Rosa. It’s perfect for the elderly, because the neighbors are so close knit and they truly watch out, and take care of each other. It’s Perfect.Thank you Lynn for everything that you’ve done for my grandma! Your truly Amazing!!
